  1. G & I are thrilled to be continuing House Calls. You may notice Richard Hatch was replaced after one season of Survivor Live. Gretchen & I are thrilled to announce we have signed on for THE NEXT 2 SEASONS! Because of the fans we are the top-rated show on CBS.com. That includes Survior Live and Soapbox. Soapbox's top rate show? The day I called in to talk about my 1st epi of The Bold & The Beautiful. I just want to thank you all for your support. Even my detractors! The more you bash it it seems the more people watch!
  2. Gretchen and I are both happily under contract for the next 2 seasons of House Calls!!!!!!!! Signed, sealed, delivered! Yippee!!! I'm very happy and grateful to the fans and CBS! Gretchen and I will also be doing red carpet interviews for CBS @ the Emmys this year! Please watch us!
  3. Thanks for getting it!!!!!!!!!!! It's supposed to be funny. You know? Irreverent. Tongue-in-cheek. I try...
  4. Thanks Patsy! Love you! You know if you put it out there you have to be able to take it. And the "Beau show" was one of the highest viewed of both seasons! All the talk it generated has resulted in people watching it in the archive over and over. I love it, controversy & I didn't say a word! I'm sure Beau and I will be friends when all is said and done. After all we're both adults! And I really have no hard feelings about any of the HGs. House Calls and Big Brother are just shows. They are just entertainment.
  5. I like this idea! Howie and Janie are hysterical. I also think James would be great if I were ever replaced. He's sooo smart and funny. But I'm not going anywhere! I love House Calls. It's like summer camp for me!
  6. Enough said. House Calls is a funny, irreverent look at a reality show. As a producer as well as a host the one thing we strive for more than anything is humor. Fun. 99.9% of the people who watched the show w/Beau thought it was funny! That was my intent. These are very serious times. Lighten up people. It's just a show. It's coming to an end and I just signed on for next season! Until then keep watching and I'll see you all next summer! Thanks for your input! And for watching! It means so much to me!
  7. I thank you so much for that! I had fun but I can't believe she didn't pick my collection! I just shot my 1st epi of Bold and the Beautiful so please watch it when it runs!
  8. I went easy on Sarah because I liked her. I think she's a sweet girl. I also didn't have a problem with her game. As to her and James that is really her business. As far as Jenn I think Gretchen and I did a really good job within what we could ask. I wasn't a fan of Jenn and can not wait until the Town Hall Meeting when I can really ask the hard questions.
  9. Arnold Shapiro on House Calls tomorrow. I can't wait to ask him what the hell do they have to do to get a penalty nomination! And how Beau and April made it past the pysch tests.
  10. I'm plugging my show because I'm a member here. People are interested in what is going on on "The H.C. as well as BB. I didn't start this thread. Fans of House Calls did. If you wanna do a shout out on the show, buy airtime. We are looking for sponsors. G & I are expensive! LOL! And what change of policy are you talking about? I don't know any show that let's people advertise on it unless they are paying. It was never okay to do shoutouts. This season it got out of hand.
  11. Tuesday August 9th, Lynette Rice of "Entertainment Weekly" will be in & later this week we will have Shannon Elizabeth! Hopefully Ivette will be in Friday. & coming soon... KG...
  12. So I would say to those that had a problem with my post about being a "reality star"... It was meant to be tongue and cheek. As everything I do is! But let's face the facts the reason I got House Calls is I'm a "reality star". The reason that I'm here and this thread is now @ 7 pages is because I "lost" a fan. Is there such a thing as "reality stardom"? Mmmm... I don't know. I know people watch me, discuss me, love me or hate me. People I have never met. I know that everyday I live with the fact that I was a person who did a reality show. We all know the term is valid. It's tossed around like "porn star". You only have to do one adult movie and you are a porn star. You only have to do one reality show and... As far as the reasons for the start of this thread, I don't go on & on about who I would "do" on House Calls. Simply because there is no one in the house I would do. The guys are simply not as hot as last year. I think it is a part of Big Brother and House Calls who G & I, as well as the fans, find attractive. Big Brother is a funny, sexy, campy summer show. Everyone cares about Eric the hunky firefighter from season 3, or Hardy the hot actor from season 2, or the many other hot guys that the series has given us. And let's not even speak of the girls. The show is about the hook-up! We want to see that! Why on this very site there are Scott's Playgirl pics and video of Amanda & David having sex! BB is not a show for kids. The feeds are not for kids & House Calls is not for kids though I think we are tamer than the feeds and sometimes the show! Anyone with kids will tell you the internet is not the place for children to surf without supervision. But is House Calls really as bad as the porn sites or even the iTunes music store where you can go & watch music videos by eminem, 50 Cent and others? I also find it curious (as my fans have pointed out) that Gretchen spoke of "doing" me, her fiance and later in the season spoke of getting serviced by Ivette but that all seemed to go over everyone's heads! The gay guy says he would do someone and lo and behold the threat of a letterwriting campaign! As well as public admonishment. I am busy. For 3 months out of the year I am paid by CBS to eat, drink, sleep and live BB. I lead a blessed life. I enjoy what I do. I have a team of people who believe in me. Believe that I can be more than a reality footnote. The guy who didn't use the veto. Or the gay guy on The Surreal Life or grouped with other ex-reality stars. I spent 6 hours watching the feeds yesterday. I left my house to go to the doctor, have lunch with Lisa and back home to the feeds, the updates @ 4 sites and to chat with fans. I work hard on House Calls. I'm not just the host, I'm a producer. I'm passionate about that show. So yes I will defend it! It's good and G & I and the producers, cameramen, lighting technicians, grips, the whole team work hard to make it entertaining. So back on topic if you don't like me or House Calls don't watch either. You have that right. But I wish you would. Because "The H.C." is about the hosts, the series BB and also about the callers. The fans. It's a light-hearted, irreverent look @ BB, the strategies and the personalities that make it a great show.
  13. I just hope for every fan I lose I gain 100. I try very hard to do a good job and be amusing! Not everyone is going to get it but I hope most do! Respect and love y'all!
  14. My desire to be a parent is a HUMAN desire. It does not have a sex. This is more of that ridiculous conversation/argument that is had @ any urbane gay bar across the World (I suspect). I'm much more pragmatic than that. I want a husband. I don't want to be a wife. I want a child. It doesn't have to be of my own seed. I want to be respected for being human not singled out for being homosexual. There's nothing better about it and there is nothing bad about it either. It just is. But back on topic. I now wanna do James!
  15. Ummm I think he meant Bruce LaBruce... & if you have to reference a wannabe porn auteur as a source... That's a reach. As is calling him a gay icon. Heretic maybe. Massive attention seeker definitely. Crappy pornographer could also work. I don't understand how my desire to be a parent and be homosexual are mutually exclusive? Is parenting the exclusive domain of heterosexuals? What about heterosexuals who can't conceive? Whatever. I didn't call for the thread to be pulled. Though I do find a pesonal attack upon ChesshireJessica, her friends and husband as well as the child unwarranted. Please don't use me or my name to further any agendas. That's why I wanted my name removed. What do we expcet from someone named Shockalot? Provocation. We get it.
  16. I hope you are just saying this to shock and because you have nothing better to do. Administrators: Please take my name off this thread. I'm sickened by the hate that has been spewn here. Julie4evert I hope you are happy for opening this ugliness up.
  17. BamaDess! Good questions. It was hard to interview Eric. I did not like how he played the game. It's also hard because we have to be courteous and fair to each HG no matter what we think about their game. I liked Eric when I interviewed him before he went into the BB6 House. I have no doubt he's a great person, loving father and husband and great firefighter. My fave interview last season was Jase. I know he wasn't well liked in the BB5 house but I loved the fun and craziness he brought to the game. I also liked Holly. I love the HG's that are fun and don't take themselves too seriously. I wasn't all that excited to interview the twins last year. I didn't like their game. I did however like them once I met them. They were sweet girls who I think over-played. I hope I helped get out their side of the story. As far as interviews I see them as a place to let the HG tell their side and to act as an advocate for the fans. Remember I'm a huge fan of BB the series.
  18. I've seen some gross things written before but that takes the cake. "Male-Wife"? Yes I think CJ is an angel. As a homosexual male I will one day need a surrogate to have a child. Anyone who is selfless enough to do that, to give the gift of life and parenthood to someone else is amazing. And yes an angel.
  19. So here's my take after reading this thread: I'm a reality star. How is me going on the defense when I am maligned different from Tom Cruise going on & on about Scientology? Wait bad analogy. Oops I said ANALogy. Does Morty's now need to be rated pg-13? I'm going to post my opinions on these boards because I like it. It makes me feel like I am part of a community. The fans of BB like it. I'm one of the few alumni who do. Does it take away from "The Marcellas Mystique"? Maybe, but I don't care... I love my fans and like my detractors. Don't you realize every time you type my name or mail a letter it helps me!? You got me my job! You helped make me one of if not the most famous BB alumni! Thank you! MARCELLAS! MARCELLAS! MARCELLAS! MARCELLAS! MARCELLAS! MARCELLAS! More gratuitous self promotion. LOL You have to be @ least 13 to call into House Calls though we don't allow anyone on if they are under 21. So what House Calls is on during the day? Parents should be supervising where their children surf. Period. 2 words: CYBER NANNY! When House Calls is televised G & I will no longer speak of who we would do. So please start a letter-writing campaign to get us on TV! And to the poster who thinks my long responses could hurt my career: thanks for your concern. But I have 5 model agents, 2 commercial agents, 2 acting agents, 1 hosting agent, 1 very impatient manager, 2 public appearance agents, 2 publicists and 1 business manager who are paid to worry about that. Don't think for a second that I don't love and appreciate all y'all. CheshireJessica you are on the side of the angels. I wish there were more people on the Earth like you.
  20. The thing I find the funniest is this is the internet! I can't log on or open my mailbox without seeing graphic and ugly things. You close it and move on. Exactly the same thing with House Calls (though we aren't graphic or ugly). LOL! You don't like me, don't watch. You don't like the format, get your own web show. But be truthful about what your problem is.
  21. Let me say that House Calls is supposed to be irreverent and funny. It should feel like talk radio. Because we are on the internet we can go farther than other shows. We don't. I think G & I do a very good job of walking that very fine line. We avoid crude language. We avoid profanity though we don't have to because it's the internet! House Calls is about me. It is about Gretchen. We are the hosts of the show. It's the same as when on "Regis and Kelly Live", Reeg talks about his wife and Kelly talks about her kids. People care about the hosts! It's a talk show not a news show. A big part of why we were hired and why people tune in is to see us and hear our opinions. Whether you agree with them or not. You have a problem with me saying "do"? Honey don't click on the feeds which Julie also pushes every 2 secs! The language that is tossed around in the BB6 house by those people shocks even the most liberal person. So if you wanna complain about me, ONE TIME saying who I WOULD DO please go wider. Complain about Howie's grossness on the show. Complain about Eric using the f-word every moment. Complain about South Park. Complain about computer games & their violence & sexuality. Complain about rap music. Complain about the evening news. Complain about music videos. Complain about corporate America advertising @ Christian rock concerts. Complain about the L.A. humidity making me too shiny. But don't complain because on a show where my job is to entertain, I made a joke that for no other reason than it was about 2 MEN HAVING SEX, you found offensive. and for the record, Gretchen went there about me 2 weeks ago when my magazine cover came out! Did you complain then? & did you watch "The H.C." last year? MY whole schtick was about "doing" almost all the men in the house! It's also funny that you joined my forum @ marcellasreynolds.com on the 28th and your 1st post was a slam about me and my sexuality. Hmmm... Not so thinly veiled hidden agenda, maybe? So now you know House Calls is PG. Don't let your kids watch it. Or let your kids watch because it could start an open and honest dialogue about sex, race, religion, politics and the myriad other issues that are discussed daily and freely on House Calls: The Big Brother Talk Show. ________________
  22. I'm glad you guys are liking "The H.C.". I'm contracted to it for the next 2 seasons. G & I work very hard to make it funny and irreverent. We also try to make it a show that everyone can enjoy & be a part of no matter how you feel about us. After all, it's driven by the callers. We appreciate the calls, the emails & posts on the boards. Today's episode is one of the best so far (I think, hope that's "ego-centric"). LOL! Check it out in the archives... M
