Frank tells Ian that his target this week is still Dan. 10:05PM BBT: Britney and Ian are in the living room whispering. Britney tells Ian he has to try and keep her off the block. Ian saying he will do his best. Britney: "Look, he already hates Dan, and is targeting him. If he asks why you did it, tell him Dan got in your ear." 10:25PM BBT: Dan, Joe, Shane, Frank and Britney are in the living room talking about the competition. Danielle in the kitchen making Britney's Birthday cake.

On the other hand, if it works out like The Glass House, it will show that Grodner and CBS do it best. [i think there's a better chance it would go the other way.] I imagine so, they keep saying everything will be like the American version, but she said that do not have a deal in place yet. Many years back CBS and Real were going season-to-season with their contracts, and sometimes it would be right up to the wire before they'd say they have a deal.

I spoke with a rep of the producers of Big Brother Canada today. As of now, they do not have any deals in place to broadcast their BB on a US TV channel, but she said, "That could change by February." They also have not finalized arrangements for the live feeds. If BB Canada is not broadcast in the US, and I've already checked, The Slice Channel is not available from any of the conventional cable/FiOS/Dish companies, it would greatly hinder my ability to to cover it. And without live feeds, there's very little I could do. I would like offer the resources of our forums, and web space on Morty's TV for an interested party to cover BB Canada. Hopefully, by February they'll have arranged to bring BB to their US fans. The person I spoke to was impressed with our traffic and the percentage of Canadians participating and viewing our pages. The person I spoke with said they'd keep me informed (she was very nice, but you'd expect that, she's Canadian). -Morty

The forums have so many new features that use system resources, that the board slows down with fewer users than last year. To keep things going, some features have been turned off, there's nothing wrong. You will also notice during BB, your avatars may not show up all the time. This is also to speed things up. -M

Big Brother Casting Starts August 1st! In case you missed it, the big news last night was that Big Brother Canada begins casting this Wednesday! Canadians 19 years and older will be able to apply online and in person at open casting calls at select cities across Canada. Starting August 1st online applications will be available at bigbrothercanada.ca. Just send in a short video proving why you are Big Brother Canada material and leave the rest to us. Don’t wait too long though, the submission deadline is October 16, 2012. Applicants who would rather present their case in person will have 5 opportunities to do so! Locations are as follows, but stay tuned on Wednesday for all the details. Open Casting Calls: Vancouver – September 23 Calgary – September 30 Halifax – October 7 Montreal – October 7 Toronto – October 14 So, if you want to be on the inaugural season of Big Brother Canada you better be ready to give it your all. 7:10PM BBT: While the rest of the HGs are in the kitchen, Dan and Danielle unpack, Dan says, ""Maybe it's time to join up with Shane, because he's always be going to go before you." Britney is telling Ashley that it will be a rough week. She says she's tired of people being insensitive, their attitudes and general sassiness and they need to learn. She said some people looked like they had tears in their eyes when Shane won. Ashley thanks her for telling her that she's safe. 7:15PM BBT: While Shane is in the kitchen eating Fruit Loops and regaling his audience with stories of his sexual encounters, Wil is getting chicken nuggets from storage room. 7:21PM BBT: Britney feels the possibility of the coaches entering the game is slim, because Julie was firm in saying that if Danielle leaves then Dan's game would have been over. Britney congratulates Dan on staying in the house. 8:00PM BBT: Ashley, Britney and Janelle talking about sex, getting pregnant, going to the gynecologist, while Dan and Boogie sit in the room and try to change the conversation. Dan and Janelle ask Britney about leaving to appear on the show. She said the flight was early in the AM, and she was on her period and already teary, but leaving her husband made her bawl. Danielle jumps in with birth control talk and Dan asks if she was talking about NuvaRing, and she said no, it's a new treatment that lasts for five years. Dan seems really intrigued by this conversation. Janelle admits to the room that when she went on NuvaRing, a type of birth control, she went psycho and literally wanted to kill someone, she claimed to have the worst road rage ever. 8:15PM BBT: In the kitchen Jen, Joe, Ian, Frank, and Wil stress out about Shane winning and wondering what's going to happen at the nomination ceremony. Joe says it's way too early to be this worried. Talk turns to coaches competition and wondering if the competition will take place tomorrow, and Frank says maybe they won't do it tomorrow at all. The other house guests in the bedroom continue to share disturbing information about bodily functions which will not be repeated. 8:25PM BBT: Ian approaches Boogie about who Shane will nominate and asks if Ashley is going up. Boogie says, "No, Wil and Joe will be nominated." Ian asks, "But what if one is removed from block?" Boogie says "If he keeps his word..." Ian shakes his head and said "Wow". Boogie said don't worried we control the vote, so one of those two will go. Ian and Boogie practice their dual DR session about making fun of Shane for getting rid of one of Janelle's players when they were gunning for him. Boogie tells Ian not to worry because Joe will self destruct and to just lay back and watch Janelle's team fall apart. Ian agrees that it will work then followed by WBRB. 8:40PM BBT: Shane tells Janelle she has nice upper body strength. Britney Shane, and Jenn talk about how tired they are, and Shane offers to not make them go up to see his HoH room, but Jenn wants to see his pictures. He says I promise I will make it quick so you all can go to bed. 8:42PM BBT: Boogie makes a joke about how Janelle doesn't want to sleep with either of them, but would with Wil. Janelle,Dani, and Ashley talk about making cookies while Boogie and Dan continue to talk about sleeping arrangements. Wil tells Boogie he thinks the layout of the week will be the same and there will be another coaches competition this week. 8:45PM BBT: Wil thinks that the coaches could trade again. Boogie and Dan say they don't think they would do it two weeks in a row. Talk to turns to general conversation about headphones for DJing and the Wallpaper in the bedroom being cool. Frank, Boogie, Jenn, Dan, and Britney talk about how cool Dr. Dre's headphones are and that you can buy them in Best Buy. [And Here Too!] Mike says he owns a pair and loves them. They talk about other rappers headphones as well and Jenn said she has a leopard print pair she's uses while DJing. (Updates from TFUs GwennyLou & CajunPug)

We welcome updaters! If you have the live feeds, or SHO2's Big Brother After Dark, the people that don't would really like to know what's going on. I'm not looking for Shakespeare, or any kind of commitment, I'm just asking that since you're dropping by, why not drop off a couple lines to describe what's going on. And don't worry if someone else is already posting. It's amazing how people can all watch the same thing and see it differently. Many of our updaters are putting in more time than they want because no one's helping. The point is, that if everyone does a little, then no one has to do a lot. -Morty

Sorry this is out of order: 10:20PM BBT: Janelle and Wil continue to talk about how stupid Willie is. In the bathroom area they're talking about astrological signs and horoscopes. In the backyard, Dan asks JoJo how much would it take to stop her from doing promotional events. JoJo says 1 million. Janelle says she came into the house to win money for her daughter's college fund. 10:45PM BBT: Not much going on. Ian and Frank are playing pool, Dan and Janelle are upstairs playing chess, Willie is outside doing laundry, and Boogie is talking about production and stuff like banner planes so there has been a lot of FotH. 11:10PM BBT: Joe and Frank are talking about becoming an alliance. Joe says Willie knows he is talking to Frank. Joe doesn't want Boogie to be part of it. Joes wants to hear that Frank won't "fuck him over," and that next week he can't say, "well, I have to put you up, I need to know you have my back, not just for this week but 'til the end." of course Frank agrees. Meanwhile, Willie is off trying to make an alliance with-- [wait for it... ] Boogie. 11:20PM BBT: Boogie tells Frank that they have this in the bag- high fives and he leaves the room. Janelle wins the chess match against Dan. Willie and Ashley talk in the BY. Ashley tells him that Joe told Jani that there were no deals with Willie - just talking. Midnight: The Have-Nots get to eat! While the new "Haves" are pigging-out in the kitchen, Janelle is taking advantage of the time to talk game with Dan in the BY, telling him no one is going for Danielle asking him to lay low this week and go with the majority in the house. Dan acts defeated saying he won't stand in the way for her chance at 100k. Janelle trying to look out for Wil saying she's looking for Boogies team next. Dan and Janelle join everyone in the kitchen we see our former Have-Nots enjoying steak and potatoes as their first meal thanks to chef Joe. For dessert there are chocolate chip M&M cookies.
