Has anyone in Canada purchased the live feeds with plans of using a proxy etc.?
-
I'm at a 5. Mainly because there are no live feeds in Canada this year.
-
on the fence of if i will get the feeds
i see on the order page to order feeds the minimum is Pentium 4, 2.33 + GHz . my cpu is about 6 years old and about 2 ghz.... so would this be an issue?? i never ran into this minimum requirement with superpass so a bit upsetting to have this issue with cbs....
What you should do is go to the CBS website and try streaming a TV show or some other video from their site and see how it performs on your computer. That should give you a decent indication of how it will run.
-
Another disappointed Canadian here. It's their loss really though, it's just less money for them.
I figure they are just too lazy to make the change to remove the restriction since all of their streaming of shows is that way.

Ian is such a tool. He was played but he won. Such a travesty - Janelle.
Bitter, party of one your table is ready.
-
If anything Ian won because he separated from Boogie, not because he listened to anything he said.
-
I'm guessing Ian would have won if he was not in the final 2.
They really need to come up with a system where we only vote for the players that can actually win AC, otherwise there are votes for players who can't even win it.
-
If you win the game you can't win AC correct?
So Ian most likely won it and then they chose the next person down, or made up the next person down from him?
-
Ian was a popular pick from the start to win it all, it's not too surprising really. This year just wasn't the year to win based on game alone.
-
Best final two ever?
For me hands down. Finally a final 2 where I'll be happy if either player wins.
-
Don't worry I'm sure Britney will tell Shane which way to vote if Danielle isn't in the final 2.
-
I really hope it's a final two of Dan and Ian. I want Dan to win, but if Ian won I'd be good with that as well. This would be the first time I'd be happy with either of the final 2 winning (if they both make it).

Seriously? Just because some members of Morty's have a different perspective and aren't Dan lovers? I thought there was room for us all here.
I think there is a distinction to be made though. It's one thing to have an opinion and state it, but when someone keeps harping on the same thing over and over it is easy to see how it can be seen as something else. It doesn't leave much room for discussion, which is what I come here for.

Dan did not "adapt".....he's on record & video tape telling his family he will do ANYTHING to win this time......and he has..... nothing wrong with it but let's not pretend it's some magica. mystical feat
Also. puleeze........no one goes into this game and pretends to be someone they are not in the real world unless they are a hired actor. Dan has exposed himself for who he IS.......to think he can be someone in BB that he is not in the real world really is magical, mystical thinking.
Adapted, as in changed his game play this time around from last. No one said it was a magical mystical feat, those are your words, not mine.
I also never stated he's pretending to be someone he is not. I'm just saying I personally don't think how he plays the game of Big Brother defines him as a person.
If this were Dan exactly as he is, one might wonder why didn't he play the game of Big Brother this way the first time around when he won.
In any event, to me it seems like you are taking things way too personally when it comes to a reality TV show. To each there own I guess.

Dan's BB report card:
Cooking A+
Cleaning A+
Picking up after others A+
Misting A+
Loyalty F
Character F
He's adapted his game play this time around and rightly so to have a chance to win. If he hadn't he'd be gone by now. So not being completely loyal to anyone this time around has only helped his game.
For me everything he has done to this point has nothing to do with his character because it's all within the context of a game. He hasn't crossed any lines for me as of yet.
He's told everyone countless times that that they are just human chess pieces to him in the game. The fact they don't catch on and think they are special and they are the exception is their own fault and a downfall of their own making.

How do you watch flashback of the feeds?
When you are on the Superpass website it's in the drop down menu under Big Brother.
Just choose "Big Brother 14 Flashback".
On a unrelated note I'm really glad that you can cancel your subscription online this year instead of having to phone it in, much less hassle.

Fav: 1. Dan 2. Ian
Least: 1. Jenn 2. Shane

I actually didn't mind the coaches idea and having a different game within the game. It was something different and added more interest to the show for me. However, as soon as they had the option to come into the game that went out the door.
I would generally prefer a cast of all new players. However, looking back on this season in particular I don't know if all new players would have been that interesting, unless they made some really good casting decisions. Looking at just the new cast from this season, there are only really a couple standouts, the rest are pretty bland choices. Having Kara in the game longer wouldn't have made things anymore interesting for me as she didn't strike me as someone to rile things up any. Her time in the house was pretty uneventful.
The most interesting part of this season has been Dan and his funeral and the fallout from that. That all stemmed from Ian turning his back on Frank and Boogie. So, take that out of this season and what are you really left with?
I think in many instances the coach was more interesting than the players they had under them. There's no doubt without the coaches the game would have turned out different, but for the better?

On topic, Ian & Dan are talking about a game of Pokemon he played. It's official they are out of things to say to each other.
Maybe they can discuss about an exciting game of pogs they had next.
-
I was rooting for him in the beginning, but lately not so much. He's been acting like a bit of a douchebag with his attitude of late. It's like he's channeling Mike Boogie at times.
-
Produced like other reality TV shows? Yes.
Scripted? No.
Good actors aren't a dime a dozen and getting that many unknowns that could not only perform the script that well and have no one ever leak anything in all these years, highly unlikely.
With 500K involved if it wasn't a legitimate contest I'm pretty sure they would be in a whole lot of trouble.

Stupid move, Dan. Frank can't play in the next two HOH challenges, Dan and Jenn versus Danielle, Shane, and Ian in HOH comps is pretty bad odds. I don't imagine Danielle has as much trust in Dan anymore, not after his fake beef with her and then going and bailing on the alliance, both instances not even giving her a heads up.
Both him and Jenn think they can just roll with Frank and be safe because Frank is a good competitor, but seem to have to forgot about that little roadbump.
How can it be a stupid move if it keeps him in the game for another week when he was going to be evicted? It was pretty much his only move.
-
I do feel a little bad for her, she's taking the fall for Ian.
-
Ian isn't coming off very well right now. He doesn't have a leg to stand on in the argument really.

I really hope she's gone soon too. She's just another retread houseguest really too, no different then bringing back old houseguest's that everyone seems to loathe when it happens.
I'd like to see a different MVP as well, see who would get it with her gone.
