Here's what I do:

1) Ignore my children (if it's CBS showtime, or if I'm at the puter watching live feeds... lord help me that there's no serious injuries to any of them, cause they'd have scream at me to get my attention :shock: )

2) I don't take calls while the show is one either.

3) I obsessively talk about BB with my husband (about 2 or 3 weeks into... I keep my mouth shut before then as I don't want to eat any crow and I want to be firm in my convictions when I argue with him over it... lol) Or should I say I try... he buys earplugs eventually. He likes the show but, he'll only watch until his initial favorite person is gone and then he's only 1/2 interested.)

4) I drink lots of tea to keep me awake to all hours of the night chatting at realplayer.com chat.

5) I have hunchback syndrome by the end of season from living in front of the puter.

I'll think of some more laterz... hahahaha

hanklee you're awesome at finding out these "other" BB show stuff.

It's unimaginable to me to have to live like I wasn't a human being and didn't need physical contact even innocent as holding hands.

But, then again... living in a society that doesn't have limits promotes shows like Chaotic and Fear Factor... LOL (Just kidding and only my opinon of course)

bones... I was wanting to know the same thing... I finally just gave up and stopped watching yesterday... but, I'll try again tomorrow... LOL

And I found it interesting that the household chores (including the cooking) are determined by the winner of the prior weeks challenge winner.

Seems this would add a new dynamic as too who gets on a HM chit list during nominations... based on what someone made them clean.

It's interesting to see the differences between BB USA and BB Australia. Not sure if I'll be able to follow it as much as I do the USA version but, the rule changes could be very interesting... especially the not being able to discuss anything about nominations!

Maybe I understood it wrong but, these HM's can't talk anything about nominations... seems it would make it impossible to strategize. But, maybe I've missed something... I've only had it on about 20 minutes now... lol

I just clicked and signed up... watching live feeds right now!!! Wow, it was so easy and within 10 minutes of watching... BB called 5 HM into the diary room and asked them to bring the rules with them... looks like another monetary deduction.

I just wish I who the heck all these peeps are are what the heck is going on... if anyone has a synopsis for me... I'd appreciate it.

I don't know if Jolie and Pitt doing an interview with Barbara Walters means they're a couple... after all lots of stars get together to promote their up and coming movies. And, with all the rumor's... it will be a selling point for Barbara to have them together.

Just speculation here but, didn't those photo's of the casting call look like a variety of people. Some "average joe's", some "beautiful people"... if you know what I mean.

Maybe the two levels will be two houses (kinda like we had on eBB) and maybe CBS is going to answer all of us that have been talking about not liking the "actor" types getting casted instead of "normal" peeps. Just a thought... have nooo sources... lol

Wow... thanks everyone. You all helped me understand a bit more about what has been going on past, present and future of baseball.

Thank you ranster for pointing out about the children. I meant to mention that in my post too. I have heard many stories of the dangers of these drugs and for some of our sports hero's to be taking them only leads to our children partaking of them (at younger and younger ages) to even have a chance at competing professionally in the future.

I also agree that the sport should be "pure." Isn't that what professional sports are supposed to be about ... the best of the best competing? Without some having been "suped up" and some not.

Ok, I admit that I don't know much about what is going on with this sport... grew up and lived in St. Louis most of my life so of course I'm a huge fan of McGuire's.

But, I thought that the supplements that McGuire, Sousa, etc. used back then were legal. (Or at least not banned by the baseball commission, isn't that true?) If that's the case then WHY is this such a big deal for them to admit it they took them? I can see that there is a feeding frenzy now and they're possible afraid of losing The Basesball Hall of Fame status.

I don't know, I guess what I'm saying is that with all the "drugs" out there being prescribed by doctor's, supplements, enhancers, vitamins, etc. Does it really matter? Seems to me that if the baseball commision really wants to get to the bottem of the "use" of drugs in the sport then and now, AND they seriously want to make a change (them playing dumb about this stuff PO's me) then just give these guys immunity and an opportunity to truely open up and say what HAS been done, what's being done NOW and allow them to suggest ways to make it better. Otherwise it's just a way to take the heat a way from ALL at the expense of a few. IMO

I'm sure I'm waaay off here but, I welcome anyone that wants to explain to me what is REALLY going on here... something just seems "off" at how this is all going down. I don't know, I guess I just see this mob mentality and people gunning for these guys, I just hate when people ban together to "hate" on someone just so the focus isn't on themselves.

This is every parents nightmare... and the visibility of a celebrity probably increases that worry two-fold. This story saddens me but, then I'm happy that they caught this guy and I hope he goes away for a looooong time.
