Truth: I don't have any other screen names than the one I'm using here. I did join this board late. I don't like spoilers so I tend to stay away from boards on tv shows. I've watched every season of BB, Survivor, and TAR, but never participated in this stuff. Until this year. It was so frustrating (lack of competitors, lack of thinkers, delusional sheeple, production interference) that I had to come here to see what others were saying. Found out, most agreed with me.

Sidenote: Never understood the need for multiple board aliases - or the need for others to accuse. I mean, we're all aliases here right? Tiger87 is not my real name. So why would I need another account? And why would I be so paranoid to think that's what others are doing when it serves no purpose?

It absolutely was. Paul would have gone home at that point, too. Cody was in favor, and Paul was iffy. No one wanted to rock boats, so they would have gone with the HOH. Plus there was a 6 person alliance that would have pushed it through. Would have changed the game. Definitely best move.

Paul's week 5 move was nothing. Cody/Jess were isolated and had protection. Easy pickings. The difference in their protection and Paul's in week 1, was they actually warned Paul up-front. He could have made a bigger move and done something different. He played it weakly.

I've read through most of these threads. Obviously, you are Lamas don't like Cody/Jess. You talk trash about them non-stop. That's fine. But when someone disagrees with you, you call it "anger" or "obsession". You two are really the ones making it personal, but you try to project that on to others.

It's just funny to me.

Absolutely. These two really struggle with Paul's losing game, Jessica's good looks, and Cody's popularity. It's one of the reasons I still come back here 2 days post-finale - to laugh about the latest spins.

Some of your posts provide insight...some are just bizarre when Cody or Jess are involved. Like this one. Cody obviously didn't trust Paul, never liked him, wanted him out. Had zero to do with friendship. If you think something so fake as that would upset Cody, you didn't pay enough attention to get past whatever emotion you have about him and her.

You're right. That was a stupid thing in the house - but they made it such a big deal. And the bullies were all so wrong about it. It would have been nice to spend 5 minutes on it during the finale.

Some thoughts:

Is Raven capable of a self-awareness moment when watching how ridiculous she looked all summer? Does Matt have enough brain cells to see how dumb he looked?

Christmas sure did not seem disappointed when she fell off the unicorn, nor when she was evicted. Adding to the growing suspicions that she was there just to support Paul.

While I'm on it, Christmas talks and talks about Josh and how he played a great game and grew so much...but she votes Paul. Then when Josh wins, she runs up to him first. Weird.

Josh keeping his BB superfandom a secret and thinking that was strategic, is just another example of how simple-minded that kid is. But kudos to him. Simple-minded won in the end.

The look on Paul's face when Julie read Elena's vote was priceless. Paul knew he had lost when it came down to Cody. He was rubbing his nose and shaking his head. I think he actually shed his first sincere tears. He also let an f-bomb slip.

Julie should have asked the jury the Survivor question - "If Josh had kept Christmas, how many would have voted for her?"

I didn't realize how badly I wanted Paul to lose, until it came down to Cody's vote reveal.

Maybe CBS will learn from the disdain this summer, and not do the newbies/vets like that again.

It was rigged to get Paul to the finals. They couldn't really control the votes. That would get out. Paul had to win the votes on his own.

I don't think CBS cared one bit whether Paul won or not. They just wanted him to go far in the game. Their whole marketing and editing of the show depended upon it.

People slamming on Cody say his vet status shouldn't matter. Doesn't matter that he defended his country on the literal battlefield.

But these same people talk about him because of something he said on twitter, or where he lives, or a lazy eye.

And anyone who critiques the beautiful Jessica's looks just drank too much hater-ade!

Post show interviews, Alex said she planned on campaigning for Paul until she got to JH. I think Jason finally influenced her, and she realized how badly Paul had played her. That's when she switched over to anyone-but-Paul.

I could tell she has brains immediately. She played a terrible game though. Don't want to blame it on Mark. I suspect she felt showmance strategy would be good before she even got there. So that's on her.

That's mostly a stretch. Lil girls? Come on. And he was yelling because he was getting yelled at by a pack of hyenas. The bully-mob mentality of this group of Josh, Alex, Raven, Christmas and led by "plausible deniability" bully Paul is something to behold.

As for anger issues, we like to throw that around on these people. Cody. Jason. Kevin. All based on brief edited moments in a fish bowl. I'd hate for 247 cameras to be on me for a month straight. Heck, I'll be yelling at drivers on my daily commute in a few hours.

Not exactly. Introverts get their energy from themselves alone. Most times they will choose to be alone or with 1-2 close people. Not really about expressions or speaking.

Not sure what you're saying about "anger issues". Are you saying Cody has them and that's why he didn't speak more? If so, I don't think we saw enough to diagnose that. And again, I say that Josh, Jason, Paul were as aggressive - if not more - than Cody this year. But Cody is the one tagged with that label. Why? The only difference is that he's introverted - and people mistake that trait.
