Alex isn't the brightest. After Cody laid it out loud and clear, the little goof just runs her mouth and loses any edge she might have gained and helps Paul's game all that much more. Arrogance is what gets some of these kids, and it sure is working overtime this year. I honestly can't believe the amount of stupidity that I am seeing this year. It is like the 500K is just being handed to Paul. And he is disgusting. This show lowers my faith in people overall, but it really is locking in my belief that the average IQ has dropped off the cliff. But, there is no limit to the amount of arrogance these players have. It is stunning. If only Alex were half as smart as she thinks she is... and Josh, and Elana, and Paul, .... and well, they are winning the top awards for misplaced confidence in their own intelligence right now.

I can only speculate that Paul is brilliant backstage: at treating people like his best friend forever in order to manipulate them as if they have no actual thought process of their own. This season is making little sense in that everyone just does Paul's bidding. It is either the dumbest bunch ever, or ... well... Paul is smarter than he seems... tonight the camera once again cuts away as Paul starts to talk to Jason. Jason is one of the few who seems to be NOT drinking the Paul water, and yet, he let Paul convince him to go up. What? I really feel too much of this season is orchestrated by BB and not all that real. It is just lacking in authenticity. Any thoughts? What am I missing?

I would take Jessica and Cody and their personalities over Josh's. I find him loud, arrogant (for no reason), boring, and.... shall I say it.... dumb. Part of the dumb just comes with his age I suppose, but he is very tiresome. He is obnoxious and a total bore, and if I ran into him in real life I would get away as fast as possible. Like many young, dumb guys, he seems to be totally unaware of his limitations. A little humility would go a long way for him, and for a few others on this show. I am no fan of Cody either, but Josh is probably my least favorite of all. He is as rude as anyone else on the show, can dish it out, but can't take it. I have no patience for people like that. The world if full of people who like to be rude to others, but want everyone to treat them well. If you dish it out, you better be able to take it.
