  1. He didn't start on day 40 something... he was in an alliance on day 2, won his first POV week 1. No one started before Donny, most started after he did. Donny engaged socially but he was too old and different to fit in with the young ones. That didn't stop him, he spent time on the BY coach working to engage each and every time he was alone with another HG. He told his jokes, he lead the muscle train, he let the HG's he trusted in on his observations and analysis. He did this as the members of the BS were doing little more than reveling in their power and safety.

Derrick wasn't seen as a power center in the first weeks, it was Devin, Caleb, Cody, and Frankie. Derrick was a ride along. If it was Donny standing next to Cody on day 2 when the BS was forming, it would be Donny seen as the mastermind and Derrick scrambling for his BB life. Remember, on those few occasions where we've seen Derrick scramble, it hasn't been pretty.

You've mentioned several times that you admire a 'mental game', and the only three that are playing a 'mental game' are Donny, Derrick and Frankie. The thing that surprises me about your admiration of the 'mental game' is that Derrick and Frankie have not shown that they have anywhere close to the observational and analytical 'mental game that Donny has. Donny figured out the opposition time and time again and he figured out more and figured it out earlier than either Derrick or Frankie. That's not an admirable 'mental game' on their part.

Those two have misfired over and over again. Derrick had Brit's full support but he freaked and pushed for her eviction. Not smart, not cool headed and definitely not analytical. The only reason Derrick's game appears to you as it does is because he has been blessed to operate in safety from the very beginning nearly regardless of his own behavior. It was almost impossible to get targeted if one was in the BS.

Think about what outrageous nonsense it took to kick Devin out of the BS. Then think about how it took Caleb's full-blown craziness to remove Amber. Derrick hasn't had to meet a very high standard to remain safe in the BS/Det. Derrick is given credit where no credit has been earned. It's easy to be comfortable if one is born into comfort and Derricks began his BB life in comfort through a stroke of luck that had him standing beside Cody when the BS recruiting was active. So, I don't agree that Derrick has played much of a 'mental game.'

From now on, when you post something, just say that I, (me)second that. HAHAA!!! You'll save me some time. Seriously, we are of the same mindset 100 % on this.

I'm glad you had time to go back and read some of the other post/threads as well.

  2. Donny figured that out week one, when he won the first of his 6 wins with his first POV. I'm a little surprised that some still haven't figured that out after 8 weeks... But I suppose that difference is what makes the world interesting.

It's a difference in perspective, character and personalities. There are some who will never acknowledge what he's done or how he's played his game and why. They don't even consider him a floater inside the house...they are somewhat intimidated by the old guy and probably embarrassed to have been shown up by him so often. He's outwitting them to but they don't quite know that yet. I hope they all watch the show later.

Dang, looking at Morty's summary of yesterday's events, it seems that Team America is under the impression that they have earned $20k already.  Apparently they think that Mission 3 was successful based on the link above. However, looking at CBS.com it appears that Mission 3 was listed as failed. Could it be that TA was told that the mission was successful by production only to have that decision overturned by Grodner because of the outpouring of negative comments?

I wondered if it was because of Caleb's suspicion of Derrick being up to something and the fact that the "Neighborhood Watch" kinda fell through in the early morning/next day...other than of course for Donny who is part of TA.

  4. Has anyone mentioned the possibility of Frankie putting Zach up because maybe he knew he'd be back? Granted it's yet to be seen who actually walks in the door but if you even think someone might come back, you might be careful of who goes out and how you treat them before they go. Things haven't been that bad so far... Or have I missed something since the pool balls. (Rolls eyes)

Simple. Can't stand him!!! As for who his sister is, never heard of her, don't care to have ever heard of her. He says she's a mega, mega superstar. Where? In NY?

  5. Little Wicked One...your opinion of what is filed away or what a floater is just may be different than the opinions of others. If you walked into a room and everyone stopped talking, would you understand what was going on? Would you try to talk game with people that you knew were working with others or wait until you could find a better time? It's more than obvious who you like and dislike in this game and even possibly what some of your tactics would be. I may be a "novice" at commenting on the forum and I'm probably not much fun on here since my viewing options are limited right now but I'm no novice at life and the study of human nature.

  6. Derrick is a Father and a Police Officer. Both if those traits are evident in his game and in the way he is with others. Yes, he was boarding on abussive with Victoria the day Being discussed but other than that time, he has been much like a Father/older brother to her. Are there things I'm not crazy about in him? Yes. But he's got great game and he's not stupid. I just hope his bad cop side doesn't show again or if it does, it's with the guys not a scared little girl.

My life's work is in science and technology but I do cut my own lawn.

Seems my phone has a mind of it's own as to how it post. Anyway, TripTrey, I was being a little silly because Donny is a grounds keeper but he is very insightful about people too. I didn't think you actually were a grounds keeper though working in the yard is good for your mind.

  7. I'm NOT a fan of Christine's and I think her's and Cody's behavior toward Each other is odd with her being married. However, I dislike her for her personality not because of how she looks or what her husband looks like. I'm sure they will have a lot to deal with and that Tim is upset enough already.

As far as how Cody's father feels...seriously? And who's to say that Cody isn't attracted to her? Everyone likes and is attracted to different types and looks. You must all be models.... I'm laughing so hard I snorted.

  8. I agree with you on that but am I wrong in saying that Caleb was the one to start yelling foul play?

Is he not easily guided into thinking whatever he is told is fact? If Christine dropped a plate and let's say Derrick told Caleb she threw it because she was mad because she finally realized they will be getting rid of her next...Caleb would not only believe it but have a story built up about it within minutes and running to tell Frankie and Cody.

Caleb lost the game to Donny and started yelping like a hurt puppy and surely Donny had cheated. Just because he says it, doesn't make it true... Or maybe he does do all the things he says.

    Have a nice night Wicked.

  9. Don't lump us all into one pile. I never bought into that bullshit but i KNOW what I heard them discussing LIVE.

    Next..........................................

Not certain but I know they specifically said she was being told to go LEFT in her EARPIECE and then FOTH lol.

This is why talking ABOUT production is a big no no bwahhhhh

I wasn't lumping everyone into the same pile. There are several of you who have either said you would want to see for yourselves or just never bought into it at all. Caleb is the boy who cries wolf in my opinion.

  10. Thanks Marty. Now to figure this out on my phone...HAHAA!! Seriously though, isn't the biggest part of this game really about the social interaction and what people would do faced with obstacles to survive to the end? Sometimes overlooking what seems the weaker in some ways hurts you because you've over looked them for their wisdom. Some of you have already mentioned the fact that we don't have the brightest bunch this year. I think Hayden and Donny have more common sense than the rest of the house put together.

I'll catch up with you all later. Have a good evening.
