  1. I think if he took James, would have still been close.  Know Bridgette became a big Paul fan somewhere along the line but don't think it would have been 8-1 in favor if Paul over James.

There were people on that jury that would have voted for James, and then if he was given the chance, may have managed to sway a few people his way.   Guess we can find out more in the exit interviews.

Will production ever release the pre live votes to see where people were at before the live vote?

Hopefully Paul will grow up a little & use this experience and criticism to improve. After seeing his reactions when he won HOH & F3, then tonight when he chose Nicole to go with him to F2, I could see a good person there. I have flip-flopped too on how I felt about him, there were some very positive sides to him but the way he talks about women...wow. Needs improvement. But every single guy in that house got vulgar when they hung out together, even James which shocked me. Guess it's a guy thing. If Paul said anything negative about Victor, I can't imagine he meant it. Those two seem close & I loved the way Paul congratulated Vic when AFP was named.

Did anyone else notice the way Paul blamed Nicole for him not taking James? That little cut back to them where he said don't worry about what he told James, the jury didn't see it. He let James think Nicole told on him, but she didn't. By doing that, he got James' vote. Sneaky but it worked.

Yes, he played very smart, right to the bitter end.   And he was shocked to have lost I think.   He knew would be close, but he miscalculated on his vote because he thought for sure if he swung James like that he would win for sure.

Paul played a great game, but I am very happy Nicole went home the winner.

Sneaky Paul, the way he evicted James by throwing Nicole under the bus, and it worked he got his vote.  I read all the feeds and never can I remember her outting James to Paul like that.  I know she "skirted" the subject, but never directly saying James was asking for a finale two!  So glad it turned out in her favor though.  Low blows and all....SHE WON IT !!!!

    YES!!!

    awww thanks

My original questioning about James deal with Bridgette wasn't to say he was only one who broke a promise, but that he actually did break one at all.  And if I remember he wasn't supposed to put up Frank either.  And boom, very early in the game he showed he could not be trusted.  This wasn't a back room deal that only few knew about, this was out in front for all to see.  That was his poor move of the game in my opinion.

  5. Yes, very happy Nicole won.

I have to watch the exit interviews again, but I think Paul may have list to James as well.   I think Paul made the right choice to give him the best chance, but some people voted with heart and not with game in mind.  Think they cancelled each other out.   And I said weeks ago if Nicole was in final 2 she would get Davonne's vote.

Surprise vote for me was really Bridgette.  Didn't think she would vote for Paul.  Once I heard the jury roundtable though I knew she was team Paul.

  6. James made some fatal mistakes along the way.   Dealing with Natalie was the beginning of the end for him.  Underestimating Nicole is a problem for him.  He thinks that they are not thinking about the jury and the outcome of the votes.  When he realized that Nicole was counting votes he was floored and realized he may be leaving in third place.  If he dropped in round 1 of HOH because Nicole was down already was another big mistake.   I know he believed that they would both take him and his strategy was letting Nicole and Paul duke it out, but that is the ultimate floater.  They both see that and are ticked off by it.   They are both smart enough to know they will pick the person that gives them the best chance with the jury.   And James is not that person for either of them I think.

And James does not deserve to be there....I have not been a fan all season, but, he really lost me when he said he will do whatever Paul wants him to do.  That was not a bright move and ultimately didn't mean a thing.  He should have been fighting at the physical comp and studying at the mental one.  He just hung out all cool and now he is paying the price.

I do not understand the Nicole hate this year.  She came to play and whether you don't like her because she had a showmance with Cory or whatever reason she has played this game.  She aligned herself with strong players and the whole time had to teach the idiot Cory how to play the game.  She is not a Spy Girl girly girl. Jozea the stupidest player ever to play this game watched 10 mins of BB Nicole's season and determined that she was a snake ok whatever she never had power to do anything her first season and he probably mistook Christine for Nicole.  Ever since he proclaimed she was a snake everyone hated on Nicole.  She used Cory and even if she does like him I do not think she thinks this is going to be a relationship outside the game.  I think he has made that clear to her.  She has always known who wanted her out and made sure they were out before they had a chance to get her out.  She did not betray Natalie and James she betrayed Natalie because she knew Natalie was not going to work with her.  I think the ladies in the jury can be petty and so if they are oh well but it will not be because she did not play the game,  I personally think if she and Cory make final 3 with James and she wins she will evict Cory and if she does that could win the game for her.

    Love this post

Despite what people seem to imply, the so-called participation" trophy was not some recent invention or new practice. I was born in 1962, my brother 1961. Every sport we participated in, up through junior hs, everyone got a trophy. Then the MVP, Best offensive/defensive player, etc got trophies that were a little bigger. I don't really know about your town, but, I believe that was the case in many many towns across America. And, participation trophies didn't seem to ruin any of the guys that I grew up with. I suspect that, if you went back and counted, the number of people from my age group that volunteered and went into military service and the number that actually stayed and retired, was above average. Although I agree that kids today seem to be lazier and less ambitious than previous generations, I do not think it has anything to do with "participation trophies".

I was born in 1966 in NYC.  Not one participation trophy ever.  1,2,3 for individual events, team sports, first and second only.

I understand your point though, and can't argue against it.  I know these type of rants are always the best.  I don't truly believe that is what caused our problems, but see it as an example based on my experience.

The younger generation. I have 4 young adult nephews that live at home and don't work and smoke pot all day. They all have cell phones, game counsels, TV's, cars you name it. Do a chore for your parents once in a while and you get everything. Their friends in late 20's and early 30's live on parents gravy train. Sad

    Yep I live in California

OMG....I have a nephew like that too...on the east coast.  It's everywhere with that generation and no idea how it got that way.  Terrible.  I have a son and daughter and working very hard for that not to happen in my house.  sometimes no matter what you do, some things just happen.  But I have not given up.

I think some of these parents that this happens to are the "not my kid" thing.

Also, the whole everyone gets a trophy in sports is the wrong message.  Winning is important, don't pretend it is not.  You have to learn to work hard for things, not just have handed to you.  No one let's their kids fail anymore.  Too many parents make threats or favors and such so that their kid gets to be in something they probably shouldn't be.  Failure is going to happen, learn to deal with it and try harder next time.

Well 2 of the players are currently too chewing on some bitter block so I doubt they are thinking that far anymore.

I'm sure she thinks there is someone she can win against. I don't see who. Her social game sucked this season. Paulie protected her a lot. That's one of the reasons she's still in the game.

Seems like everyone is having friendship and enjoying being the final five.  Someone has to go home each time it happens.  As far as I am concerned, everyone is a target.  This whole nonsense of bigger target etc is driving me crazy.  Any one of these five are a threat in some way, wether by how they will vote, who they will influence to be put up, or what ever, each can win and each is threat in some way.

Back to my point, I think she used Paulie perfectly.  Fed him info but kept enough distance from him not to get lumped in.  His emotions got the better of him as he was to overbearing and had to go.

If Nicole is in final two I think she beats anyone.   But will she get there?

LOL.  Reading your post...I couldn't disagree more.  I actually think Nicole has it locked up.  If she makes final two.  Hell, even Natalie said she thinks she will win and probably vote for her unless James is up there.

Laughing because I just posted this in another thread, not at you or your opinion.

    Haha yes they probably do.

But do you know who would have it even more?  Corey & Nicole.

My only reason for continuing to watch this train wreck of a season is

to see those two lose before final three OR lose to whoever one of them is sitting next to

in the final two. Corey I can't stand, but if he's sitting next to Nicole he's probably going to win.

I also don't like Paul but if he makes it to final two next to Nicole OR Corey, I think he should win

since he clearly played a better game than either of them.

    Victor trumps everyone.

James will beat everyone but Victor -- but I admit it might not be b/c he played a better game but b/c

he's more "likeable" by the jury and that will cloud their judgment.

    Corey beats only Nicole.

    Paul beats Nicole or Corey.

And Nicole beats no one.  Unless the jury transforms more than any other jury in the history of BB.

LOL.  Reading your post...I couldn't disagree more.  I actually think Nicole has it locked up.  If she makes final two.  Hell, even Natalie said she thinks she will win and probably vote for her unless James is up there.

Mike  you don't know women.  They often turn on one another, sadly.

Last year I thought Nic was cute and quirky.  But this year anything that was said to her or that she overheard she would immediately run to tell Paulie.  And did so all the time.  She seemed very different to me.  I don't care for her this year.  But they aren't there to make friends.

Ah, you see, I think going and running to tell Paulie things was a great move.  She fed people key info all summer.  And she changed some of that info to out herself in the best light.  People then chose to use that info to eliminate each other.  I think she has been super strategic and played nearly flawless.

Victor and Corey are the worst of the five, but still played great games as well.  All final five played either great social or competition games.

And although some of the women may not have been fans, you cannot ignore the fact that almost everyone who has left the house has said to get Nicole out.

    And she is still here!!!!

If I had to rank the player's chances of winning, as of this moment in time:

    1. Corey - Decent number of wins and he hasn't pissed anyone off.

    2. James - Very likable and enough of the jury admire his low-key game for him to get the five votes for the win.

    3. Paul or Vic - If they get there together (doubtful), Vic would win. If Vic makes it to F2, his opponent really needs to hammer the fact that Vic had 3 chances. It will have an impact with the vets.

    5. Nicole - I really think that Nicole has an uphill battle with the other girls. She could pull out a win, but, I think most of the women will be looking for a reason to vote against her. If she and Corey is in F3, and she has the chance to decide the F2, will she concede the victory to her showmance Corey or will she go for the win and vote Corey out?

I know I am in the minority here, but I think Nicole will be a sure winner if she makes F2

Yes, i realize all the girls were against her...But Day is starting to come to her side.  Everyone said get Nicole out, but she is still there.  I think if she makes it to F2, they will respect her gameplay to get her there and give her the votes.

  15. Yes, big brother is way more than the comps....but the comps are there.  The winner of the comps at the end is very much in control.  Now he had to win so many comps because unfortunately, his early social game was not working.  Then he worked his way back in and shook up the house with his HOH.  That made him a target again and things fell against him.  As luck would have it, he managed to fight his way back in again.  And I think he deserved it more than the other jury members.  I believe that if any other person would have won, they would be gone that same week.  Victor was the only one to have a chance...and here he is probably making it to final four.  Even if his alliance doesn't get HOH next week to get rid of who ever doesn't go home this week....chances are very very good that the person left standing, if they are the HOH, will go after Paul and Nicole, if they get veto, put corey up and send Paul or Nicole home.

That is the logic in my head at this point...and only my opinion on things.  But I truly feel Victor has earned everything he has gotten so far.

  16. Ok..I get it.  Not sure how I missed the Paul was the target thing...but...

You know from watching that James was going to drop the alliance with Corey and Nicole as soon as he could.  He wanted a final three of James Natalie and Michelle.  He was never going to honor that final four with Nicole.

Even though the target changed to get rid of Michelle instead of Paul, that was the best move for Nicole to stay in the house...and she kept her word to keep James and Natalie safe.  When did she ever ever give the inclination that she would keep Michelle safe.  I am sorry but I just think that James is just as wrong and should not have been blindsided.  He even refused to talk to Nicole and kept telling Michelle to go do it herself.

In the end, I think the right person went home.  I am rooting for the current final four to make it to that point.  I haven't enjoyed James game all season, and gnat gnat is very sneaky and fake as well.  Some of the feed updates I have read from yesterday have Natalie talking about things with her and James that would point to her being possibly sincere, but...I still have my doubts.   Only time will tell on that front.

Agreed,  I'm in the minority here and not a James fan.  Think he slid by ( one might say floated ) the first half of the game by laying low and spending most of his time blinded by  the FTs bouncing in his face.  He came in thinking he deserved to win and everyone would be on board with that.  If he manages to survive this week, I hope his phoney cuddle toy is  sent packing.

AirGumby...  I am not a James fan either.  two of us then.

And either James or Natalie are going home....I don't see how it can be any other outcome after the events of this week that just past.  Victor cannot put up Nicole or Corey this week as he owes both of them.  He won't put up Paul obviously unless the worlds collide somehow.
