Recommended Posts

It's Spring Break in the DWTS ballroom tonight. The couples are introduced, and the judges are showed. Julianne has pink hair tonight.

Tom and Erin explain tonight's competition. There will be 8 individual couple dances, and 1 team dance tonight. Next week will be a double elimination. We see practice sessions and highlights for Patti and Artem.

Patti and Artem dance the Quickstep to Heat Wave by Martha Reeves and The Vandellas. The audience goes crazy for them when they are finished. Len tells Patti it's the best dance so far tonight. He says, she was sitting there cool by the pool. He says, that no matter who else comes on, they won't give them as much entertainment as she just did. Julianne says, she was doing the Quickstep with one shoe on, and it's so much fun to watch the two of them each week. Bruno says, it's finitely Happy Hour, and that's value for money. Carrie Ann says, she is definitely the most consistent performer. She says, the shoe coming off worked to her benefit. She says, it made it stylish and a new fashion statement. They go to the sky box for their scores. Erin asks Patti how it was possible to do the dance with one shoe. Patti says, she loves to dance with no shoes. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 8, Len - 7, Julianne - 7, and Bruno - 7, for a total of 29. Patti announces her hot sauce products, and tells everyone to buy them. Tom has his shoes off now.

When we return to tonight's DWTS, we see highlights and practice sessions for Nastia and Derek. They are dancing the Tango to Summer by Calvin Harris. The audience goes crazy for them when they finish. Tom says, that was some pretty impressive spinning she did there.

Julianne says, that the overall dance was super fun to watch, but she felt that there was a disconnect in their bodies. She gets booed by the audience. She says, it's week 6, and they are doing a lot of traveling, and tells them to keep going. Bruno says, that's how you attack a Tango. He says, she has almost unlimited power at her disposal. He says, she has incredible drive and shape, but she loses part of her home. He says, to him, she's an amazing dancer. Carrie Ann says, that this must be frustrating to her, and she knows it must be tough, because she goes back to her gymnastics form. She says, she needs to allow herself to dance. Len says, the key to the Tango is low, slow and go. He says, it's like a panther, and this was all to fast. The audience starts to boo, and he tells them to shut-up. He says, other than what they need to improve, it was fabulous.

They go to the sky box for their scores. Derek says, that was highly confusing for him. Erin tells Nastia that she's an athlete that knows how to win, and she can make adjustments on the fly. Nastia says, she can do it. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 9, Len - 8, Julianne - 8, and Bruno - 9, for a total of 34. Erin says, there's a double elimination next week, and the votes count for half of the couples scores, so she encourages the viewers to vote. More to come after the break, live.

When we come back to the ballroom, we see highlights and practice sessions for Willow and Mark. They are dancing the Salsa to Tequila by Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra. The audience claps along with the song, and erupts in applause and a standing ovation when they are done. Tom says, all that and an extra rib too. Bruno says, high-spirited high school. He says, she always packs a punch, and always goes for it. He tells her to be careful not to shake when transferring her weight from one leg to another. Carrie Ann says, it was sassy, and she turned up the heat. She says, there was an interesting maturity in the routine. Len says, he enjoyed the dance, and would have like a little more snap in her legs. He says, it was very very good. Julianne says, she agrees with everyone, and the only problem she saw was with her legs.

They go to the sky box for their scores. Tom tells the viewers to make sure they go on-line to choose for the dances for the couples, for two weeks from now. Erin says, Willow is so fun to watch every single week. Willow says, that dance was a little different for her. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 9, Julianne - 8, Len - 8, and Bruno - 9, for a total of 34. The score Carrie Ann said was an 8, but her paddle was a 9, so it was a 9 in the end. More to come after the break, live.

Tom asks what's going on in his head right now, and he said he's upset the package shown make it look back, and that was stuck in his head. Len says, it was like conversation, and he was right on time. He says, there may have been an incident, because everything came to a complete stop for a moment, but it was great. Sharna says, he's amazing, and they have a great friendship beyond this. Julianne says, they are great together, and those packages are hard to watch, she's been there. She says, his hip action is there, and when he lifts his arm, it gets kind of robotic. Bruno says, forget about the incident on the package. They are dancing the Jazz to Bootylicious by Destiny's Child. The audience is on their feet, and clapping throughout the entire dance. Tom says, Rumer and Val, bootylicious indeed. Julianne says, her expectation for her is so high, that she was a little underwhelmed. The audience boos her. She feels there's so much more she could have done with that. Bruno disagrees with that, and he says, she gave it her own interpretation and it was hot. Carrie Ann says, she disagrees with Bruno, and agrees with Julianne. She says, it was strong, but it lacked some things, and was a little disjointed. She says, it was hot though. Len says, he's a cup of tea in a world of cappuccino's.
