General Season 6 Spoilers:

  • 12/21 - Sean - and Kirk - will both be returning next season. Oh, and this just in: David Sutcliffe will be back for at least five more episodes this season. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
  • 12/09 - There's little doubt Gilmore will be back in the fall. Not only is it, like, 13 viewers away from eclipsing Smallville as WB's most-watched show, but Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are already contracted for a seventh year. And guess who's also on board for next season? Scott frakkin' Patterson. That's right; reliable sources tell me his deal just closed. Now, the only question is whether Team Palladino - whose pact expires in May - will be at the helm of what is widely expected to be the show's farewell season. My gut tells me Amy and Dan will be back, albeit in a somewhat reduced capacity since they'll be juggling both GG and their new, as-yet-untitled, Big Apple-based romantic comedy. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
  • 11/29 - "[Gilmore Girls] is definitely coming back for at least one more year," says Dan [Palladino], but neither [he or his wife] could confirm whether they'd be going on with it. Source: Entertainment Weekly [Note: The WB has not confirmed that Gilmore Girls would get a 7th season.]
  • 11/23 - Logan will be back to try and patch things up with Rory. Source: TV Guide Podcast
  • 11/21 - Sources tell me that David Sutcliff (Christopher, Rory's dad) is in talks to come on in a meatier role. Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • 11/16 - Sherilyn Fenn has been cast as the mother of Luke's long-lost daughter! She's onboard for at least two episodes, the first of which airs Jan. 10. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide [Note: Fenn was on the show before playing a different character.]
  • 11/09 - "Logan and Rory are going to hit a rough patch," AS-P concedes. "Logan and Rory's relationship has never been based on deep talkin'. Their relationship has been based on 'Let's have fun! Let's avoid reality! Let's just go play and party!' And Rory doesn't want to avoid reality anymore. And that's going to alter her relationship with Logan." That said, AS-P says, "We have [Matt Czuchry] for the entire year, so kids need to remember that. He's getting paid for the whole year. You don't want to waste that when you're paying for it. But there are going to be a lot of ups and downs for Rory and Logan." AS-P says, "No, we are not talking about having Christopher back in Season 7." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
  • 11/08 - Just heard about an audition for a possible recurring role on Gilmore Girls: Anna, 35 to 40 years old, beautiful in a natural way. She owns a funky boutique. Has to be great with comedy and have a strong enough presence to be a potential threat to Lorelai! Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Anna is April's mother.]
  • 11/02 - There will be a wedding next spring (April or May). Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
  • 04/06/2005 - Amy Sherman-Palladino has already written the final scene of the show (which will be between Rory and Lorelai) even though it's not known when the series will end. She hopes to end the show with Rory's Yale graduation. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

General Season 6 Spoilers:

  • 01/20 - My source said that the secret life refrence is to Richard and a double life. It is not what we thought. The truth comes out at least to Rory and maybe Emily. I didn't ask about Lorelai. Question: I have grown tired of shows like Gilmore Girls that don't make use their quality actors enough! Instead they settle for bizarre story lines, they neglect their essentials (like Kelly Bishop and Edward Herrmann), and they show much too much of the random Yalies and Lane's band. Is this something that will change or do you think it will become more like ER's ever-changing cast?

01/30 - I ran into Matt Czuchry, and he said, "We've been broken up, and we're trying to get back together, and with that, Logan's gonna go to pretty extreme measures. But it's not gonna all be good. He won't be perfect. There are going to be some problems. Logan's great to play, because the character lives in the moment, and that's beautiful, but at the same time, he's flawed." 01/28 - Milo's return is always a possibility. Source: TV Guide Podcast [Note: Considering that the actor is shooting a movie right now, it is not likely that he will return this season.]
