Really?! I didn't watch the show at all this season but it surprises me that they'd kill off the central character in the show's final episode! So how did it happen?

Did you see when he was getting nose bleeds and had that brain tumour that he thought killed his mother (only she was never really dead)? Well, he had it also. While the General fixed him up a little, towards the end when Scylla was "solved" Sarah went to hug Michael, saying she was happy, but then stopped because his nose started bleeding again. At the very end, they all meet up at Michael's grave to lay flowers, along with little Michael, Sarah and Michael's son.

It was a great end to a great show!

Definitely great that they had the opportunity to tie up loose ends and show closure.

I really liked that the final scene at the gravesite took place "Four Year Later", according to a subtitle on the screen.

It worked with the timeline, since the show started 5 years ago, and all the action took place over one year instead of 5, so it puts the final scene at the present day, which was mighty cool.

Acclaimed Series 'Prison Break' Returns to Television on Si TV

Airing Nightly Beginning Monday, April 19 at 10PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, April 14 -- Si TV has announced the breakout arrival of the acclaimed series Prison Break to the network. The Golden Globe-nominated series will premiere on Si TV on Monday, April 19, its first airing anywhere since its first-run on FOX. Prison Break will air Monday-Friday nights on Si TV at 10PM ET/PT.

Prison Break is a suspenseful drama that revolves around two brothers; one has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison. The series focuses Lincoln Burrows (played by Dominic Purcell), a death-row inmate who is accused of the murder of the vice president. Wentworth Miller stars as his brother Michael Schofield, an engineer who helped design the prison where Lincoln is being held. Michael gets himself arrested and sent to the same prison so, empowered with his knowledge of the building, the two brothers can escape together. However, while inside, Michael discovers a massive conspiracy that is determined to see Lincoln's sentence carried out.

The series also made a star of Latino actor Amaury Nolasco, who was twice-nominated by the National Council of La Raza's (NCLR) prestigious ALMA awards for his work on Prison Break. Nolasco portrays Fernando Sucre, Michael's complex cellmate.

The 81-episode series ran on the Fox Network from 2005-2009 and continues to have a huge on-line following as evidenced by its 1.5+ million fans on Facebook. In support of the series launch on Si TV, the network has built a robust, interactive site featuring video extras, games, photos and much more at www.sitv.com/prison-break.
