CeCiMom Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Jerry Age: 75 Hometown: Magnolia, TX via Wilkes Barre, PA Occupation: Great Grandfather/Retired Marketing Executive Marital Status: Married http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/b...erry_10/bio.php
Marty Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Jerry is all over Jesse and saying Steven needs to go because he never shuts his F'ing mouth. I am disappointed in Jerry and hope he in not homophobe.
GingerSnaps Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I can't stand Jerry right now...he's kissing HOllie and Jessies ass. Yuck.
trater2 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I think he may just be trying to find someone to 'group up' with. I don't feel that he is being homophobic, he just thinks that Steven needs to shut the 'eff' up!
SueZqueZ Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Him and Jesse have been bonding all week....and Jerry going by his plan of telling the first couple HOH that he will never put them up if they don't put him up.....Only thing I like is when Jesse said Dan and Angie...Jerry jumped in and said no...Steven I hope Jerry tryin to help Angie out!
Marty Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Jerry asked for help using the washing machine and Angie really nicely said she would help. The others ignored him.
SueZqueZ Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 And I heard in background Libra say, "whats he mean he don't know how to wash clothes?" They need to remember Jerry is from the old school.....wife does it all!!!!
Marty Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 You know that Libra's husband does all the childcare and the housework.
joyami Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 When my kids were her kids ages, I hated leaving them for a minute. She is sh*t to me.
serialjay Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Jerry is going down in my book...He seems like he was easily persuaded by Brian and Dan to put up Jessie and Renny.. Then he was easily persuaded when the entire house came against him... I would have talked to Brian and let him defend himself after the entire house was like put him up... and instead of talking to Brian he goes and sneaks behind Brian's back and stabs him! Grr... Hopefully Jessie wont make anyone angry in Libra's alliance or Dan's by putting up Renny and Jerry and Jerry get the boot
SugarB Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Jerry needs to shut up and lay low for a week or two. And yes, no doubt Libra's man does all the domestic work. Bet she is afraid to break a nail.
trater2 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Jerry thought he was the man when he went to try to fix Keesha's "problem"...
tarheeltitan Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 meh, Jerry seems to be very moldable; I think life will be very different for him when he's not HOH, hope he gets disillusioned about that "Jerry's Angels" BS quickly, because he's just looking like another tool for Libra right now. I hope he wisens up, but i wouldn't mind seeing him going
Reaper Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I'll go out on a limb here and say that I think his voice will go, before he leaves the BB house... *Unless they supply him with an oxygen tank*
GingerSnaps Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I think he may just be trying to find someone to 'group up' with Too late for that. He had his chance with replacement nom and lost it. Fool!
Cathy Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Although I wish he wouldn't of nominated Brian, I still like Jerry.
littlelulu Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I like Jerry, but he doesn't seem healthy enough to make it thru the season. As far as putting Brian up, I think that was the best move he could have made at the time. Now the "kids" are fighting it out and Jerry isn't on anyones radar.
Moxie Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I'm waiting for someone to inform Jerry about Brian's cocky attitude he could get Jerry to do whatever he wanted. The group actually did him a favor. Even if he doesn't discover that in the house, he will when he gets out and sees how much Brian was stabbing him in the back. Jerry put his trust in Brian because they shared being in the military. Jerry felt that Brian's experiences in the service would give him a level of maturity. It turns out that maturity wasn't there after all. Everybody turned on Brian when HE screwed up. If he had approached this with a completely different attitude, I think he would have gone far in this game. He certainly had the brains for it.
Marty Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I thin Brian just didn't know much about how to play the game. I think he only watched a few shows when he was in sequester so he made the mistake with too many alliances. I think Brian was a really good guy and mature and smart. I would love to have seen that kind of game played out instead of the little pissy fights the others have. Jerry just was railroaded by "the house" and didn't have much of a choice but to put up Brian.
endure Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I agree 100% with all you said, Marty. I wish that Jerry would know when to just sit back a little though because it would help his game a lot
