You don't go back on your word the first week...that's bad game play and a sure way to make enemies hard and fast. You have to be sneaky and go back on your word when least expected. Jerry spilled the beans on everyone, so going back on words basically screwed some people very early in the game. You're not suppose to know someone can't be trusted right from the beginning.
