Yeah Moxie, I think we're all in for a twist..........and not like the game Twister they were playing last night. I will say I had an urge for a Brownie last night.

LMAO - it doesn't really help me because I never saw any of those actors before. Though the woman with the red hair (Susan?) does look familiar and I never watched the show that Grant Show was on but I do know he's the swinging husband. Not a bad looking guy, too.

Guest Moxie

I guess they had to add the pot to the brownies in order to get uptight Roger and Janet to go skinny dipping! Frankly that was a common practice back in the 70's and most people didn't need the help of drugs or alcohol to participate! :lol2:

Thanks Reaper...........But, Im also missing one key ingredient like Ginger :)

Moxie............Come on Girl, Tell us More :)

Hey Ginger, Grant Show played on Melrose Place as Jake...........and yes, he's still hot.

True Moxie and it got me thinking about something. If she needed the hash to become uninhibited then she really didn't want to go skinny dipping (or more) at all. She needed courage to "belong." I don't blame Mr. Uptight for taking a long business trip. lol

But, I think Mr. Uptight is going to have a little fling on his own while away...not a swing fling but an affair.

I can't wait for next week's episode and I hope I stay awake for all of it. :)

Sheri: I never watched Melrose place, and everyone here said he was on the show. He looked the most familiar to me at first then I realized it was him. I like that thick mustache he has...very Tom Selleck. lmao He is a good looking guy and I would split logs with him.

I think you're right Ginger, I was thinking about that. Can't wait either............Im really liking this show.

Really, I didn't know that. I had only missed about 15 minutes too.

I know I said it earlier, but I use to watch that show with Mischa Barton (I liked it so much I forgot the name :) and the one in Hawaii and really enjoyed them and then they were gone (well the latter was gone before second season). I think that was the last time I watched any show of that type. I do enjoy the cable shows, but it's good to watch a show that is on other than a Sunday and Monday night.

I am also really liking this show!!! I'm curious, since it seems to be a "Summer" Show, how many episodes they will be doing and how the ratings are... Following CSI has got to help, I would think...

"Last I checked, today is not a Friday, Roger."

And according to Roger, it's every other Friday.....poor Rog.

lmao

Would anybody know why the first episode's video is not on the website? They're all there to watch except that one.

hmmmm. curious. It WAS there, because I know I had forgotten about the show starting and I watched the first episode there. Wonder if they know it's lost..lol

Looking forward to watching last night's episode. I better watch it before it gets lost too, huh?

Yeah, that's where I saw it! lol

I kept clicking on all the episodesthinking I was missing something, then I noticed they stated last night's episode was ep #5 and there are only 4...so duh to me it finally clicked it was missing.

They have only a "highlight" of epi #1 that runs about 2 min.

Oh well.

I checked youtube and it's not there. Then I found a site (I forget which one) but when I clicked it said that episode is not available. What did CBS do, lock the first episode in the vault---they're not disney!

Anyway, this morning I watched a video on msnbc about the creator of the show and his ideas. He said his parents were swingers and the ideas for the show are based on real life experiences.

Honey, back in the 70's it was a common habit to go skinny dipping, at least where I lived, lol We had at least three different swimming holes where we'd go, grab some beer, bring some tunes and have a great time! The group I ran with didn't have any hang-ups about being nekked in front of the others, lol There always seemed to be at least one new couple in the bunch so it was fun to see their reactions.

The writers are being clever in the way they keep introducing Janet and Roger to "new" things. I cracked up at Janet's response to Roger when they got home from the party. rofl.gif

Haven't caught this weeks episode yet, will watch it tonight...............Thanks Ginger, I really don't mind spoilers, that's just one of the reasons I come here.

LOL..........Moxie...........Love it, I will admit I've been skinny dipping before.

LOL Sheri! I'm sure there has to be a few more warm bodies around here who have tried it a time or two. Nothing wrong with it IMO. It's a heck of a lot of fun. I have to admit some parts of this show is taking me on a walk down memory lane. I really enjoy the music and the furniture and clothing take me back as well. I enjoyed the 70's. :)

I was a bit confused going into the last episode. When someone mentioned the husband was going out of town, I thought it was Roger.

They didn't show too much of Tom's hotel room party and I guess Trina is worried that she will lose Tom the same way she got him, right?

What I thought was silly was Bruce's not approving of Susan watching porn or defending her opinions. I found it kind of odd, that a man who would agree to trade his wife off to swingers would be so controlling.

Got to watch out for that wild card Janet....I think she's going to be broadening her horizons real soon!

Did anyone watch the video from the link I posted above?

Anyway, im going to watch it today.
