Griz Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Looks like they got her for drinking under-21... Since it doesn't list her actual BAC (Blood Alcohol Content), there's no way to tell what it was. She was 20 at the time, but under Minnesota law you have to be 21 (you know, where you're a legal adult but not able to legally drink, in that ass-backward system of laws we have), and they popped her. The DWI seems stiff, but again it's not clear if that's some Minnesota rule trying to punish the under-21 crowd for drinking or if she was legit lit up.This is probably more than anyone wants to know about it but:In, MN, that is how they write up a DWI citation:Offense 1: Misd. DWI - 169.121 1(d) 3( - .10 or more Offense 2: Misd. DWI - 169.121 1(e) 3( - .10 or more within 2 hours of the incidentOffense 3: Underage Consumption - 169.1218 - Zero tolerance - anyone under 21 driving with any alcohol in their systemOne of the reasons there are multiple charges on the same citation is in case there is some plea bargaining down the line, additional paper work is not required. The "169" was the Statute for most driving conduct in MN but has now changed to 169A; the charges are the same, just numbered differently.
