Happen to have a baby when on vacation there. You will get dual citizenship & get free healthcare. Of course you have to go to the doctors there, so it may require a move for you.

i thoguht only the kid gets citezenship not the parents too... if thats true i'm off to canada for the next 10 months er so with the GF :smile1:

i heard tho that canada doesn't do the dual citizen thing tho i had some canadian freinds and they would have to go back to canada every few months because they weren't US citizens i asked them why they didn't just apply to be a citizen and they said they'd lose their free health care er something like that because they couldn't be dual citizens

I've known a few people that have done that. I used to work with two girls who were friends that both did it...but thta was over 10 years ago...so I'm not sure if that is still an option...but it's worth a shot I guess.

I am a true economist at heart (privatization/capitalization breeds more progress), but it is weird that statistics show that people in socialist countries with universal healthcare live longer & have less physical & mental health/addiction issues. I wish they would show more than the correlation numbers since correlation doesn't show causation...but until they do some useful analysis, it does make one wonder.

I think I voted 100 times to evict Joe. I kept voting until it said I reached my limit and it never did so I kept voting till I got bored. Joe gives me a headache and I love waking up in the morning and knowing someone will be up in the house.

As opposed to people who need by-pass surgery in the US, right Ginger? Because we all know that every person in the US gets the healthcare they need. Nobody ever goes without by-pass surgeries in the US, and every single person that needs it get it when they need it. Pffft. Does the lack of peripheral vision strain your eyes ever? Besides the total inconvenience of not seeing the larger picture, it just seems like it's gotta hurt.

As for America's Player, I hope Eric uses the information about Kail and co. wisely. I think Jameka especially would be inclined to try to push against that.

sorry didn't mean to derail this thread haha  i blame canada (teehee)

back on subject i think after last nights mess that was drunk jen talking to eric and him finding out who we want him to vote for i think we may see eric ally-ing with dick and daniele, he really does need to take a stand tho cause i think the house sees him as a floater and we're approaching the weeks that are most dangerous to floaters

right now the house is just about divided and no one wants to take the first shot at the other alliance, so i believe the floaters are going to be sacraficed until they choose sides or there are none left

i would like an americas vote to be who should eric ally with, altho i'd pick jessica they seem to get along so well together

Well that was uncalled for... I am a Canadian and Ginger pretty well has it right...

Interesting; my feeling is that the health care system in the US is uncalled for. /shrug

As for Ginger, she's pretty well vocal and strident in about 80% of her posts. Something tells me her skin is thick enough to deal with people giving back a bit of what she dishes out. But hey, who am I to stop you from coming to her defense. And yes, Canada's system is not the best either, but arrogance about the health care in the US is just ludicrous.

Anyways.... back to BB talk.

Awwww Ginger, Fizzle....I missed you two, too! What WERE you saying about me? I'm a day late and a dollar short? I am posting in an obsolete subject? I don't know how to quote? Oh well, it's all good. Always nice to come back to Morty's. :party_smilie:

Welcome back Spikes... You truly have been missed around here... To quote you can use the little bubble looking button right above the field to put the stuff you want to post... In the top line you will see the two A's and insert special item, etc... right under that you can see the biua's smilies the +, etc... the next to the last one is the quote button, but you can also use the insert special item drop down too... I hope that helps... :)

well gosh.. seems like my little "blame it on the canadians" joke hit a few nerves. uhhh i did put a :animated_rotfl: in there.... did someone not read the whole post? it wasnt that long.

and i have many canadian friends here at mortys so i would NEVER EVER say something like that in a rude way.. i dont understand how anyone could have taken it the wrong way.. specially since there was that rolling laughing smiling. but i guess there will always be someone to twist it around to make it into something.

:inquisitive:

I don't think Eric gets to find out who "America" wants him to vote off tomorrow night until he's live, on camera and about to place his vote.

I think that may have been the case last week. This week his task is a little harder as he doesnt get credit if the HG we chose doesnt get evicted. I am 99.9% sure that BB has already told him that we want him to vote for Joe because just after the polls closed late Tuesday (early Wednesday) he was stealthily called to the DR (Jess was coming out and told him they wanted to see him) and a little bit later he told Dick "You have my support. Period. End of story." I've been watching Eric on the feeds and hes a smart player, too smart to say something like that to someone without knowing its what we want.

Regarding his tasks, my guess is they will get harder and harder. Last week he had to go in the DR and say the name we wanted him to say. This week, not only does he have to say the name but he also has to try to make sure it happens. Next week, they may want him to try to see if he can get the HGs to vote unanimously. Who knows?

And to whoever started referring to him as AmERICa, I love it!

PS Canada has good music, too!!
