Marty Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Looks like Joe leave us.... Eric is working to get Joe voted out. He is working on Jameke and Jessica to insure they are keeping Dick.
yath Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I don't think much of Dick...but his staying will make the show more interesting. However...I totally agree with CeCi, who said it would be a much better strategic move if the house evicted ED. Daniele continues to have two protectors...
windickwin Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 maybe its because i live in NJ and people around here act like that all the time... so when i see dick go off on someone, it really doesnt looks so bad to me. its like Sunday dinner with a big Italian family. yes i agre that is exactly what my family is like at our dinners LOL. so he is not a big deal to me either.
uvp Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 if he or danielle wins hoh i will layed down my first fixed of the season thread
uvp Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 if he gets hoh the bb house will never see so much terror in the house in its history
Catniptoy Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 At least if Dick wins and he has the power, he won't have a reason to scream and threaten people. I hope.
uvp Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 At least if Dick wins and he has the power, he won't have a reason to scream and threaten people. I hope. i see power making all that worse jmho
GoJaney Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Oh come ON UVP! Jen was the next target, she said she won HOH before the HOH then miraculously won HOH on a trick question... that's fine. But if the person who's been targeted this week wins, and you just happen to think he shouldn't, its rigged??? *sigh*
Fatcat Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 You are makin me fall out dumblonde. Dick needs to zip it, he runs off with his mouth too much. I do still like him tho, I think he is misunderstood, and that is why he needs to zip it, he has about as much tact as a bulldozer.
Soyyo Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 At least if Dick wins and he has the power, he won't have a reason to scream and threaten people. I hope. I think Dick's bullish behavior is only going to get worse, especially if the vote goes 10 to 0 or 9 to 1 in his favor and gets any power via him winning HOH or anyobody under his and/or Daniele's control (Nick, Amber, Dustin, and yes...Jessica and Jam). It makes no sense to me why these people will vote to keep the one person that obviously has a lot of influence on the HGs and they all seem to fear...it's just dumb strategy for them. They are saying the same thing people kept saying about chilltown last season..."We'll get them, next week..." meanwhile CT took them out one by one, difference is at least Will (with Jan) was fun to watch (JMO)
Fatcat Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I do not know why everyone is so intimidated by ed, I also thinks puts that phrase in her words when she is campaining against him as she thinks the others are intimidated and keeps bringing it up to reinforce it, I would laugh at him, I do not think he is scary, as a matter of fact I think it is all on the outside, and he is insecure on the inside, look at his persona, the tats, the red tipped hair, rock & roll, it is a picture, but not the real him. At least in my opinion.
ReignDropps Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 The thing we can count on is Dick being Dick. He won't change his ways for anything. I LOVE HIM! I don't see him as a bully (although I can see why some might think that) I feel he doesn't change his views when others threaten him. He voices his opinion (loudly) and doesn't back down. He calls it like he sees it. I was a little worried yesterday reading the updates - but when I saw the feeds I realized - he's just being himself. I'm not worried about him being voted out. We can thank Kail for that!
Soyyo Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 But they are intimidated, Fatcat. The reason they all have to vote for Dick to stay is that they don't want him coming after them if he stays. Maybe it's being locked in that house with his abrasive personality...I don't know, but I do believe ALL but Dan are very intimidated by Dick....again, JMO

ReignDropps Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 yes Windick - when he called Kail out about her lying - she was SO mad! She wanted it to just disappear - but that's the thing with Dick - when you lie to him, he WILL call you out (in front of everyone!). That might be intimidating to some. Maybe they all know they can't lie to Dick and get away with it.
Aurora Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I think Dick's strategy of calling people out (the way he did with Kail) may be his downfall... I do love it though
dumblonde Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 All in the house want the MRA broken up so why would they keep Joe? If Joe stays he will owe the MRA a favor, if Dick stays he is going after MRA hard
ElleNaturelle Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I feel he doesn't change his views when others threaten him. It depends on what you think "being threatened" means... If you're thinking in terms of the game and being voted out.. or whether you think they're physically going to hurt him. I know it's not the latter. I bring this up because his response to game "threats" is more than a little extreme. Yes, be straight out. Yes, confront people...be loud in that regard. But you don't need to yell at people, get in their face and follow them around from room to room to tell them off, and you certainly don't have to be cruel about it. Right away I was a fan of Dick's. When everyone thought he'd be just another @sshole, I was the one to say how sensitive and emotional I thought he was going to be. I do still think inside he is that person. I just really don't like the way he's allowed this game to effect him. He definitely needs to regain control of himself. There are still many more weeks left in the house (potentially). If you're going to defend yourself, be smart about it, have a little more class bearing in mind that this week is only one week and there are others to follow. If he came in wanting to win the game, then he needs to be more in control of himself. Being in control doesn't mean being fake. You can still be real without posing as a physical threat to people and coming off as an aggressive punk @ss which he has been this last week. The way he has handled it has totally made me lose some respect for him. He's not nearly as strong as I thought he would be. It's disappointing.
Soyyo Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Thank you for explaining my thoughts, in your post, so well, Elle ...but that's the thing with Dick - when you lie to him, he WILL call you outConsidering that Dick has lied to Kail and most of the others too, I don't see him as having the right to yell and go off on anyone for playing the game the same way he is .
dumblonde Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 When did Dick lie to Kail? He promised her if she didn't vote him out he would not nom her when he got HOH. Kail agreed to the deal & then immediately began campaigning to get Dick out. When Dick found out he said their deal was null & void. Kail lied not my man Dick
ReignDropps Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Elle - I'm more focusing on the treat of getting put up or voted out. But he doesn't change - he's good ole' Dick. Just the man we've loved from the start. I don't see him winning *duck* (I want him to) because of his hot temper. He's a passionate man.
Soyyo Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 When did Dick lie to Kail? He promised her if she didn't vote him out he would not nom her when he got HOH. DB, he had already said he never intended to keep that promise to Kail. He said it before he talked to her and after (before he knew she was camp). Look it up. He had also said he would tell anyone whatever they wanted to hear to get what he wanted, but he would be lying, of course. I would look it up for you, but I'm too lazy
ReignDropps Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I'm not sure if he lied to Kail either....? I don't watch everything, but last I saw, Kail is the liar. I mean this is a game of "lying", so it's no shock. But when I see someone like Dick get pounced on....I'd rather stick up for him than for the liars. jmho:)
