Blue bird
Based on the overall discussion on this and other boards, I would have to say that this version of the Apprentice has not been one of the best. In addition to moving the show to LA (which was probably a smart move, the show probably did need a change of venue), the producers decided to tweak the rules and most of those new rules have been a complete bust. The tent city idea...stupid (I miss the friendly interaction of the teams with each other). The PM remaining PM until the team loses...another dumb idea. This is worse than the winning PM being exempt on the next task from seasons 2-4). The concept doesn't allow everyone an equal opportunity to be PM and show their stuff for Trump, plus it allows under the radar people to skate by from week to week. The PM being able to sit in on the boardroom...it is an interesting concept. I would be ok with this one remaining in place, IF they would eliminated the rule about the winning PM remaining until the team loses. "Trump's eyes and ears" for each task...One week it is Ivanka, the next it is Sean, the next it is Randall, the next it is Bill. And lastly, the firings...they have been little more than a popularity contest. Whoever the losing team targets for firing is the one who gets the axe. Maybe if DT's "eyes and ears" were the same from week to week, this might not happen. My question for the board is this...If you were DT and MB, how would you fix the Apprentice? yath
I think it's unfixable--time to give it a decent burial.

Realityfan
I'm with Cajun, get rid of Donald and bring in someone new. NOT Martha Stewert. Someone that does great in the business world but isn't quite so famous.
Blue bird
Maybe Mark Cuban or did he do a show similar to The Apprentice?
Cajunboiler
Mark Cuban got lucky and his ABC show the benefactor was cancelled after one season. Why doesn't Trump hire Rosie for his company. That would be a great reality show.

jersey721
Fix The Apprentice??? According to Donald, it's the number one show on television.
Califcyclone
I am starting to think that the woman who quit the interviewing process was on to something. Maybe The Apprentice could flip the tables and allow the interviewee to decide if they would want to work for Trump. This show is dying a slow painful death...It is especially painful when the Donald expounds that he has the #1 show. I just had to shake my head when that guy was fired for the "white trash" comment, it made Trump's org look more like a hostile work environment than a diverse workplace that supports affirmative action. Carolyn and George were really the glue that brought together previous seasons...while I like/respect Ivanka I agree with others here that the revolving observer role is tiresome, disjointed and this is evolving into a Type A free-for-all. I like the idea of having Rosie take over that would be quite the ironic twist.
jersey721
Rosie? How boring and predictable would that be? First she'd fire all the men, then she'd fire anyone with a different political leaning than herself. We'd only be left with tree-hugging, women with underarm hair and questionable sexuality. Blue bird
It appears there will be a shakeup on Sunday's episode. The preview on Yahoo shows Andi calling both teams to tell them that Arrow will be moving into the mansion, the remaining teams are to divide into groups of two and there will be no PMs. The clip shows Kinetic (mainly Heidi and Kristine) refusing to welcome Arrow, and Arrow being sentimental about the tents.
