That Canadian preview...:scared:..it had better not be Hiro or Ando that dies or I'll...:crybaby: !

Thanks for the link to the super-hearing lady! I saw that on MSN but it wouldn't let me link it. I'm SO GLAD there is someone who can give Sylar a bit of a scare...she's going to be much harder for him to "lobotomize" ;) .

I just discovered some updated info on this- according to Kristin Veitch in her weekly video "The Vine" for EOnline, she states that:

"The person who dies is one who you think they can't kill off because of their special power, however the special power will live on inside of Sylar, who will suck it out of their brain." !!!

Could this mean...Claire? I'm trying to think of anyone else this might refer to. It seems like it would rule out Simone (rats), HRG (good) and Ando. Could it be the Haitian? I'm going to have to keep scouring for further info because I MUST KNOW...

Oh, and an additional BIG piece of news she also gives is that..."Masi Oka is reported to not be in Season Two. This is not because he is the one who dies, but rather, because he will be in ANOTHER CENTURY!"

You can check out her video here- click on "Vine Original" video(it starts with spoilers for Grey's Anatomy and then proceeds with Heroes info):

Thanks, Kayo!

I checked out the video you linked, and what she actually said was that Masi Oka "will not be with the cast when season 2 starts", but not to fear, because he's not the one who dies...

I think it's just part of the story arc, possibly worked in because Masi will be working on some other project, or maybe to develop some of the other characters and storylines.

Unless Hiro's power deserts him, why would he get "stuck" in another time?

With that kind of time-travelling power, it should be possible to go back 100 years, stay there 5 years, and still come back just seconds after you left, except that you would be five years older. It's not like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, where "the clock in San Dimas is always running".

Besides, season 2 is still so far away. I'm too busy obsessing about just the next episode, from week to week, to worry about season 2!

Thanks BuxomB..I checked again and they added her newest video in front of the one I saw. She does correct herself and say "when the season starts". The video I watched follows that one...she calls it the premier of The Vine, and they have people asking her questions about Heroes (after Grey's Anatomy info) and in that video she says that "sources say" that Masi wouldn't be in season two because he'd be in another century. My guess is that she got called out on that and corrected herself.

Thanks so much for all the clips!! I just watched them and that one with Matt, Hana and Ted is especially interesting!

I know that everyone will think that is Claire but I don't think it is her. I think the second part about how the special power will live on inside of Sylar is very revealing. I think that it indicates Nikki/Jessica.

Kayo, I did kind of wonder about that, since there was so much J-Lo and Grey's anatomy stuff that I was asking myself why you hadn't mentioned it, so I figured it might be something like that, her posting another clip. It's not like you to make a mistake by mis-quoting, in any case, so I'm glad we figured that out.

Nemille, that is really insightful! I'm hoping you're right about Jessica getting transferred into Sylar, because that would be interesting to watch. It would also leave Nikki without any powers, I imagine, and that would be boring. But I'm willing to make that deal!

And now, 2 more Behind-The-Scenes clips!

(5:26) (Stan Lee, then night filming with Ted, Matt and Hana))

(2:06) (Masi Oka, Stan Lee, and George Takei)

Wow, these clips are great- thanks for the add-ons! My husband thinks I'm a "traitor" for watching them ahead of time, but I love it!

What can I say- I'm a spoileraholic.

That clip with Nathan and Simone definitely shows premonitions of her expendability, although it doesn't sound like she's the one to die next because, as far as we know, she doesn't have any super powers.

I think that would be a great twist if Sylar somehow got Jessica's powers leaving Nikki without Jessica finally. That doesn't seem plausible though, because Sylar has to kill the heroes to get the powers out of their brain. That would leave both Jessica AND Nikki brainless and very dead!

One of the previews I saw had a glimpse of something that gave me a terrible feeling that it's going to be Isaac. The scene shows Isaac with a gun and looking very afraid of someone. We also see him in scenes with Peter where Peter gets really angry and knocks Isaac backward without using his hands- ala Sylar- but I don't think that is the same scene where Isaac has the gun.

The reason my hunch is Isaac is because we're already privy to the fact that Hiro, in the future, saw Isaac dead with his brain gone. The spoilers are saying that Sylar obtains one of the heroes powers, so that would fit. Hiro is powerless at this point, so the "exploding man" is still set to explode as well. It may be that the following couple of episodes will be more backstory type episodes (I'm thinking "Company Man" for example) leading back to the final "how do you stop an exploding man" problem...and if it is Isaac, we don't know how long the time frame is from the time he is killed to the time Hiro finds him. I'm just conjecturing at this point and still hoping that I'm wrong. I'm not sure I'd like to see Sylar painting pictures of death and destruction personally. Although it would be cool to see him paint his own death!

One person's powers that would make for both an interesting and horrible scenario if Sylar obtained them would be Claude, the invisible man. Shudder...better watch out super-hearing woman!

This was definitely one of the best episodes...and a great title too! Peter has turned into a bona fide super hero but with more of a flawed, dark batman-like persona. Perfect! I originally thought the one to die would be Simone, but changed to Isaac after it was reported that it would be a "hero" that died and that their powers would be sucked out of them by Sylar. Well, technically Sylar did kill a hero- Dale, the super-hearing lady, but she wasn't a main character. I don't know about you, but I was getting REALLY worried near the end when it looked like it would be Peter killing Isaac. Now that it looks like both Peter and Isaac are to blame for Simone's death (if she really is dead yet) things could get very interesting indeed.

I absolutely loved, LOVED, LOVED the roof sequence with Peter using several of his powers to save Claude and hold off HRG and the Haitian...we were all cheering at my house!

I also like the fact that Hiro is now setting off on his "mission" alone...although I'm sure we'll be seeing Ando again. And the cameo by Stan Lee as the busdriver was brilliant!

But the best laugh I had tonight was my husband's comment when Sylar was having pain issues with his hearing when he and Mohinder went to the garage where Sylar had killed Dale the night before. He said, "Maybe Sylar's punishment will be having to spend the rest of his life listening to rap music- at full volume." :animated_rotfl: Wish it were true...

And finally, I LOVED the fact that Matt, Ted and Hana are teaming up together to get to the bottom of Bennett's mysterious work...I absolutely cannot wait until next week!

Heroes

February 19, 2007: Life Isn't a Comic Book

I had the honor of meeting Adrian Pasdar last week when he came into the office for a visit. Tight-lipped about the show, naturally, our favorite "flying man" was a lot nicer than the closed-off Nathan we watch every week, and he let us in on a few things he's learned since becoming a hero: 1) Masi Oka is super-smart, 2) his 5-year-old son is a big fan of Milo's and 3) the only way to see all his castmates together is during "heroic dinners" they plan, since they don't get to work with each other on every episode. OK, so it's no spoiler on, say, Nathan and Claire joining forces or Milo getting a new haircut, but I'll take it.

As fun as it was to see a kicked-back Pasdar
