'United 93'

Paul Greengrass' "United 93" continued its winning streak as the pic was named Best Film of 2006 by Phoenix Film Critics Society Awards. But the 9/11 drama wasn't the only repeat win from critics, as Helen Mirren and Forest Whitaker remained critics darlings with wins in the top acting categories.

In the supporting categories, Jack Nicholson won for "The Departed" and Cate Blanchett took home the trophy for "Notes on a Scandal." In other categories, Emilio Estevez won the Breakout of the Year prize for his behind the camera work on "Bobby."

In addition to the normal critics kudos, Phoenix Film Critics also honored those that might have missed their chance in the limelight. For example, the Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" took home two trophies in Production and Costume Design. The Phoenix Film Critics also honored the film, "Hard Candy," as the most overlooked film of the year.
