FROM TV GUIDE: Entertainment News

STRANGER THAN FICTION: The Writers Guild of America is demanding that reality-TV producers start coughing up union wages for the videotape editors who fashion dramatic stories out of gazillions of hours of raw footage. Shows like The Apprentice, the group claims, make a mint by forcing underpaid staffers to work long hours, sometimes in hazardous conditions. And don't even get them started on the Swan crew's nightmares!

Is this a joke? This is really news? The "Writers" Guild of America wants dues from reality show editors? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard about reality show profits. Also what "hazardous conditions" exists in editing rooms? The only one that comes to mind is drowning in pools of unwanted video tape. What some people will cry about for money. Too funny!
