SamTheCat Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 BB100 I missed the first half too and can't get the show to work either (Housecalls shows, but not last nights episode - just the first 5 commercials (boo!)) Sorry to everybody about leaving that little rant about James without giving it much explanation or leaving a description in the Feed Updates . . . this is the first year I've gotten feeds and have to learn how to do that! I guess James got wind through Erika telling Dani telling James that Janelle planned on putting Diane up with the intent of evicting Diane. So then he went up to the HOH room to talk to her and then just went ballistic on her, just basically listing off all her actions that are giving him anxiety and ratcheting up his paranoia . . . like why did she tell Howie to make sure Diane and Erika didn't win POV during the competition rather than Boogie and Will . . . what would have been the drawback of Erika winning POV if Janelle isn't lying to him . . . etc. There were more points but I can't think if them at the moment . . . basically this was all coming out without him giving Janelle much of a chance to respond and she basically looked like a deer in headlights - he's screaming all his points off and peppering it with stuff like 'liar', 'you're lying to me', 'fine you're looking out for you, when I win HOH next week I'm doing what's best for me'. And then he stormed out of the room saying 'I'm done with this'. I don't know . . . I mean I've seen peoples' posts in support of James' actions and those knocking Janelles, but looking at the big picture it seems to me that a guy like Will (who's plan it was to inject doubt into the sov group to break it apart) only has power to effect his goal when there's weakness in the group to begin with . . . I don't agree that James was the 4th wheel of the sovs 3+1 - its seems to me that he was setting them up to fail by cultivating alliances outside the sov group. That to me is the weakness in the sov group that gave Will the power to inject doubt into their group to tear it apart. PS Also, for those who say James is the more loyal to the sov group for putting up Jase last week - didn't he owe Kaysar and Janelle one for keeping Diane the week before when they wanted to keep Nakomis? I don't know . . .
Ron Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 What little shred of respect and liking I had left for Janie from last year is completely gone now. She is a complete idiot. Will is going to wipe up the floor with her T&A and laugh all the way to the bank! Can't anyone see that Will should be the first one to go??!!?? I'm actually beginning to be on Will's side now. I hate him but he is by far the best player. He even has Dani beat as best player ever. He is by far the smartest person in the house and has been able to manipulate everyone! If he doesn't go next week well, just hand him the 500K cause the game is over and I'm gone.
SamTheCat Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Well he he I wouldn't have phrased it like that but yeah, Janelle's also got some weaknesses - like attention, wants to believe she can trust people, etc. Will may have targeted her but used James' actions to wedge the doubt between them . . . I think Kaysar should have targeted CT week 2, but that's all in retrospect - if Nakomis had won HOH week 3 people saying that it was dumb of Kaysar to get rid of Will/Boogie since they don't win comps, so who knows . . .
paula1572 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 ive never been a big janelle fan but the fact is james and kaysar have both had their own side games going on the side and really havent been a big help to her all week. what happened to the "lets not leave janelle alone with will" conversation? the reason will's manipulation has worked so well on her is because they havent been there to support her, and he makes valid points. kaysar and james dont have floater alliances lined up for the good of the sov alliance, its for themselves. when kaysar was HOH he said "he was in power and he'd make his own choices". james did the same thing. the reason that james is so hot to get rid of CT isnt that he thinks theyre coming after him, its that they are playing the same game he is, only better. and while james used to by my favorite sov, i just see him as a big hypocrit now. he cant get all sanctimonious about how he hasnt lied this season because he lies all the time about his side alliances. and lets face it, the sov alliance could only ever take any of them so far in the game and sooner or later they were going to have to turn on each other. the ONLY person totally loyal to the sov alliance, is howie.
WickedOne Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Howie's a HUGE adolecent pain in the arse.HOWEVER,he acts like a lunkhead around everyone..only to be calm, smart & fairly serious in the DR.I've often wondered how well he would fair AWAY from the SOV6.Not necessarily alone.Just with someone else.He had Rachael once but that ended too quick to truelly calculate his abilities. There's definitely two Howies.Scary...but true.
