  • 4 weeks later...

I think she kissed Jack as a Good-bye type of kiss because she wants to be with Sawyer...ya know ...kind of like being caught between two lovers (like me with Dr. Will from BB and Mike from DH...but anywhoo) so she probably had to pick which one to be with (I'm still trying to figure out who I want to be with goodness....I wish Mike would stop calling me every 10 minutes) I know she was really into Jack in the beginning but that was way to obvious for them to get together so they had to put a little twist on it.

But dang I really want her and Ana to do the tongue dance ...Whats a girl gotta do to see some girl on girl action around here

So thats what I think

Thanks for the photos, Jem! That's who I thought she would kiss (never in a million years would I guess it to be Ana Lucia ;) )...but I have mixed emotions. I'm a big Jack fan and not too crazy about Kate right now. So, let's put it this way- she better not hurt him or I may have to hire Mr. Eko to use his big stick on her like he did Michael and Sawyer!! (don't go there, Ranster B) )

Did someone say big stick?

I really think the kiss with Ana will be pointless and just a reaction ... I doubt they would create a quadrangle of romance ... I think she is destined to be with Sayid!

I actually enjoyed this episode alot! Probably helps that this episode didn't totally focus on our poor little wimpy tease Kate.

Great great episode and we learned alot and of course got another ton of questions.

But that ending is what really blew me away. Just.. WOW... that was really freakin spiffy. The film and the computer :o

As for Kate's story.... bleh.. makes me dislike her even more now.

Predictable that the house was gonna blow... I didn't really understand WHY she killed her dad though?

Sooo... he beat on your mom and looked at you in that nasty perverted way... alrighty.. that's a reason to hate the bastard and beat the ever living shit out of him to teach his stupid ass a lesson.... but apparently that wasn't the reason she killed him? Huh? Just.. wha? *scratches head*

And for some reason the guy being her real father made her want to kill him even more b/c she's an idiot that only thinks about herself and doesn't like the fact that his blood is running through her veins..... Yeah... that's a really good reason to kill someone..... *coughs*

I didn't really understand what the hell she was saying to Sawyer at the end there.

I know I probably missed the whole point of her doing it... but that's most probably b/c I can't stand her.

The way she plays Jack and Sawyer just really ticks me the hell off. I just wish they'd both drop her ass and find another one of the girls.

Anywho! As I said... even though they did show yet another of her backstories.... I did enjoy the episode b/c of everything else :D

And those previews for next week??? GOOD LORD I'm like peeing on myself in anticipation!... Well not really b/c that would be gross but you get the point heh.

I hate to break it to you, Pallaton, but the next episode is not until January 11th, I believe...that's SIX WEEKS from now. AHHHHH!!!

Ok, WHERE'S THAT STICK??? Let me at her! I know she is going to break Jack's heart...too much foreshadowing going on there. And if they put Jack with Ana- oh man, I don't know what I'll do.

Seriously though- Mr. Eko is becoming one of my new favorite characters...sooo mysterious. I love it!

Hey Jem ...make sure you come back and let us know that you are ok. Watching 3 new episodes back to back WOW!

You will need the following:

box of tissue

finger on the pause/rewind button

total quiteness

and a stuffed animal or pillow to hug onto when you want to hug Sawyer (not that I would do that because that is sooooo childesh)

have fun

Yeah... I didn't know that when I wrote my comment but found out later.... *sigh*

Oh well... I still can't wait for it :D

EDIT: Ooooo and nice find! Wow... totally didn't even see Sayid on the tv screen back there.

Wonder what he was on tv for? He looks a bit raggedy in that shot.

probably way off base here, but the first thing that popped in my mind was that it looked like a hostage video ... anyone captioning the show? maybe the sound from the TV got caught?

I played the episode on my computer. The only words I could make out from the show was US Military, News and Desert Region as the rest was covered by lines spoken by the actors.

When you look at the picture, they are wearing helmets that I've seen used as camouflage in desert environments. Someone with closed caption may be able to get more.

...a FLASHBACK to Sayid, being escorted through the airport and taken to a back room where he is questioned by a member of the CIA and a member of the ASIS. But Sayid doesn't answer their questions, having been well trained in the Republican Guard. The ASIS agent explains that some explosives were stolen from one of their army bases and that the men responsible are part of terrorist cell. They, of course, want the explosives back. Sayid states that he is not a terrorist. The CIA agent explains that he was taken into custody, not because they thought he was a terrorist, but because he knows one of the members of the cell - Essam Tazir, his old roommate at Cairo University. But Sayid is still reluctant and asks why he should care. That's when the CIA agent pulls out a photo of Nadia, the woman he risked his life for. If Sayid wants to know where she is, he's going to have to help them.

Ok, so if you go to the Episode Summary for "The Greater Good" (thanks smirnoff for remembering what eppy it was). It has the above in the episode summary. Sayid's flashback to where he was arrested.

I am willing to bet that the footage of Sayid on the TV is from the 1st Gulf War and he was captured.

Don't y'all be picking on Kate now, she is very dear to me. Even though she and Charlie are a couple in real life. Time for him to crack open the statue and O.D.

Wow.. they're really a couple? Hmm well I guess it's not too surprising.

I did just see Evangeline's new Holiday sex.... oh my bad.. "Date" phone line commercial on tv...

I still can't believe she did those. So sad... so sad.

I'm guessing that Sayid is there because of the bombing incident that he was sent to stop. As far as Kate, Jack, Ana, and Sawyer....I'm almost thoroughly convinced now that it will be Jack and Kate hooking up and Ana and Sawyer hooking up. Why you may ask? The whole black/white, science/faith, opposites attract kind of thing. Jack is Science, Kate is Faith. Ana is Science, Sawyer is Faith. Besides Sawyer is perfect for Ana, she's all serious and stuff and he makes light of everything. Same goes with Jack and Kate. Anyway, that's my two cents on that. Still trying to figure out the whole computer thing though. Did Walt really communicate with Michael? I mean Locke showed them that you can't type anything in until it gets down to 4 minutes. When Michael looked at the time it was like 53 minutes or something. So how can that be?? Was it a hallucination? Dream? ARGH!! I still feel like we are missing a lot from the film. That can't be all that was cut out of it. There has to be more to it. It's just too dang vague. And the dang horse!! Come on!! How come they keep throwing all these animals on the show? Does it symbolize anything? Was it something Kate needed in order to resolve some kind of issue she had? Where in the nine hells did it come from? Walt? Does he know that everybody on the island has issues and secrets and he wants them to confront them all and deal with them? They are killing me here!! I have developed a love/hate relationship with this show. I love it sooo dang much, but hate all the dang questions that I'm left with. Somebody stop this rollercoaster!
