  1. While I am glad it is not an Austwin HOH...I just can't with this kid. He annoys the hell out of me and I kind of want to punch him in the face, but I don't know why.
  2. If these dummies keep Shelli, then I hope she wins the whole thing.
  3. I don't know if putting Vanessa up is a good idea. Right now he is a big target for Clay and Shelli, but I get the feeling Austin and the twins are okay with the power couple being taken out. If he replaces Clay with Vanessa, he runs the risk of both Shelli and Clay being in the house at the end of the week and having Austin and the twins really gunning for him. I think his better play is to make a deal with Austin and the twins. In exchange for their vote to evict Shelli, he won't put one of the up as a replacement nom.
  4. Will it be the screen or will they go back to pulling the keys out now that botb is over?
  5. Agreed - I'm not a fan at all of Austin's but it would be a poor game move to get rid of someone on your side - Just doing the other side of the house a big favour by voting out one of your own numbers I would normally agree, but with these idiots u don't necessarily think it is doing the "other side" a favor. They are all clamoring to work with Shelli and Clay, There is no opposition in this house of miscreants.
  6. What will be interesting if Liz wins the veto is the timing of her switch with Julia. If Julia comes in before the veto meeting she would back door Austin in a hot second.
  7. Ahhhh...forgot about his being tight with Becky. Then again, I forget Becky is even in the house.
  8. Is John also on board with the whole "back door Austin" plan? Hmmm...too bad...when I saw he was playing I thought him winning veto could be interesting. Liz winning it and using it to send Austin home would be a huge knife to Austin's creepy heart.
  9. I really hope John wins veto and refuses to use it.
  10. ITA that Vanessa wanted Jackie to do the dirty work. Now that she has to put the knife in Austin or Steve's back, she is freaking out. I think Vanessa being a poker player explains her game play a bit. She is taking each week as a new hand, assessing the cards that have been dealt and making the play that is the best play for the week (in her case, whatever has the house consensus and will piss off the fewest people). She has no concept on long term planning or seeing what will be best for her 3 or 4 weeks from now. This hand-by-hand, week-by-week strategy will only work so long as she stays in power, but having no loyalty to anyone in a few weeks might be her undoing.
  11. What happened to the BB Takeover? Not that I thought it was that great, but they haven't even mentioned it since Gronk--and that was kind of a week of "fun." I thought Julie said that there would be a twist every week. Was it that lame that BB gave up on it after 3 weeks?
  12. I hate that Johnny Mac is still on the outside of all these alliances. I wish he could find someone trustworthy to work with. I like him and his goofy laugh.
  13. The problem with Jackie turning on Clay and Shelli is that the rest of the dummies are begging to be in a Shelli/Clay alliance (or already think they are in one) that I don't think Jackie would have the votes to get one of them out.
  14. Well I never thought I would say this, but now I am hoping for a Vanessa and Shelli final two. They are the only 2 playing this game and all the other hour guests are just falling all over themselves to get any attention from them.
  15. So disposable. I like him, but man he needs to wake-up and form an alliance with the outsiders (not Shelli, clay, Vanessa, Austin and Liz/Julia). Otherwise he is toast.
  16. Audrey is a mess. Even when people are on her side she can't help but threaten them and lie about them. She tried to lay low the last couple of weeks, but Shelli being the victorious HOH this week is going to be her downfall. Shelli doesn't want to be a target and no on trusts Audrey. Easy choice for Shelli.
  17. Audrey is a terrible player. I hope Vanessa uses the POV and Shelli puts her up. And I really hope the house evicts her over Johnny Mac or Jason. Audrey played too hard and too fast and now she is just playing crazy sauce to keep herself in the game. I hope she goes over John or Jason.
  18. I am really hoping for a couple of double evictions soon. There are too many people in the house. Things get interesting when there is about 8 people left.
  19. I really wished Mama Da' stayed. Meg is as vanilla as the come. Sure, Da' played too hard, too fast. But she was interesting. And I wish some of the "outsider" hg's realized that she could change the dynamic of power in the house.
  20. Johnny Mac is growing on me. But he really needs to start aligning with people and not be the pawn de jour for the HOH. He has saved himself twice now, but one of these days his luck is going to run out. While I understand he has no choice if the HOH nominates him, so I get him acting cool about it for his game play, he has to see that the other houseguests see him as disposable. If he gets off the block great, but if he doesn't no harm or foul if he gets voted out. I wish he would be more aggressive in finding an alliance so he doesn't end up the disposable hg.
  21. I am disappointed in the Austin/Vansessa HOH. I think Vanessa is hella smart, but she is hitching her wagon to the wrong team. When Shelli/Clay were in power, Vanessa and Austin were in the outermost of their circle. I really hoped that they would form an alliance with the outsiders. An Austin, Vanessa, Steve, and Becky final four agreement could have gone a long way. Vanessa targeting James is a waste of an HOH.
  22. Long time BB fan and lurker...occasional poster. I just came in to say how much I hate BOTB. It was a total bust last year and this year is more of the same....the HOH's colluding, putting up pawns, etc. I miss the days when HOH was really a risk, especially in these early days. This whole "let's vote with the house" bs is infuriating. Bring back the days when the house decided to put the HOH in their place to remind them they are not in total control---like in Season 2 when Mike Boogie put Sheryl up as a "pawn" against Nicole to get her out, but the house revolted and sent Sheryl home. The last two seasons with BOTB have been boring and predictable. And I agree with everyone who wants the old competitions back. Especially the Have/Have Not comp and the reward comps.
  23. In addition to the cast (nothing to add that hasn't already been said) I am disappointed with the complete lack of effort by producers on the comps and the lack of luxury comps. I don't recall a have-not-comp this year where the house works together to earn food and drink for the or a special party. Those types of comps always allowed for the house to work together and put drama aside for the night. And what was with the have-not thing ending half way through? Also, there seemed to be less luxury comps. While some prizes were given away during veto comps, the only real luxury given out was the 10k ballon thing. No movie night? No trip outside the house? No phone call home? No new clothes? Considering this was the longest season of BB, you think producers would've incorporated some more comps/activities to keep things interesting.
  24. 10 years ago I would've given anything to be on BB. Not for fame, celebrity, or to be on TV. I loved the whole social experiment that BB represented when it first started. Put 12 random people in a house with no contact with the outside world and see how they do. At the time I thought I would do really well in the experiment. It has been several years since BB has put in anyone but a bunch of crazy wanna-be actors/reality tv "stars." The only reality TV show I would love to be on is Amazing Race. To travel to all of those places and do all of those challenges would be a dream. Also, my husband and I would make a good race pair, in that we excel at very different skills. But we are run-of-the-mill people who work regular jobs with no "hook" make us stand out in casting. Even AR seems to have gone down the path of needing marketability in its contestants more than it used to.
  25. I am catching up on last week's televised shows. CBS is sure giving him a good edit. They are playing him as the laid back funny guy. Though, as much as I am not a Spencer fan, I did think it was hilarious on the show when Amanda, after torturing Elissa, complained that it was like high school and Spencer asked, "you were a massive bitch in high school?"
