Where is the live discussion area? It’s Friday night and there is nothing going on? Is Morty’s no longer the place to go for active discussion? I am soooo confused.

It has been a while since I have been active on Marty’s and the layout is very different. I see rooms to discuss each player individually but cannot find the place to just go and talk/debate/argue while watching the feeds. Am I missing something or has it just been dropped to individual player discussions?

What did I miss? Why is he so paranoid? 

Was a little concerned about him at first, however I am liking the way he is playing right now. He is definitely good at reading people and playing that up. His skills as a flight attendant are showing and could get him far. And easy in the eyes;)

Please send him home soon…. So annoying. 

This really disturbs me. On BBAD, Jess is confronting Cody about his bad behavior earlier and he is literally telling her that he is a violent person and he WILL do that again and she is ok with that. A bit later she is talking about punching him in the face. Some people may see this as light, goofy talk. As someone who has dealt with friends going through abusive relationships...this is kinda scary. Cody is bad news and Jessica has some issues to deal with. This is just from what I am seeing on screen, maybe totally skewed because of the show, but it's kind of making me uncomfortable.

Stand by the Cody is bad news statement though.

I wish they had put an older person in who you could actually root for. This guy is clueless and sleazy. 

Who knows....maybe he turns himself around and becomes a fan fave. Wouldn't be the first time I have been shocked by a change in personalty within the house.

Who walks out of the game voluntarily for getting caught in a lie? I mean, seriously, who does that? People have been caught in major lies every season and stuck with it. There has to be something more here, right? She said she watched the show, so she would not freak out and leave that easily would she?

Also, during last night episode, they did pan over and actually focus on the let me out button, next to the storage room light, for a few seconds which I thought was odd at the time. Now it makes sense as foreshadowing 

This guy just gives me a bad feeling. While I can appreciate the eye candy, he gives me the creeps and he and Josh can walk out the door together.

I never said that Marcellas was ajournalist. I just said that HE has referred to himself that way multiple times this season.

As for a journalist's job to make someone comfortable, I disagree. If you have watched any news this past week with Katrina disaster, all of the major journalists have not cared about the director of FEMA, or theMaypr of New Orleans, or the Governors of the states affected. They have asked the hard questions and yes the guests have squirmed tryi8ng to come up with the "right" answer. A journalists job is not to make someone feel comfortable, but to get the facts. If it was to make someone feel comfortable and at ease, it would not be news, it would be a talk show. And Gretchen would not run from a tough question. She is real and gets down and dirty, whereas Marcellas is afraid to tarnish his image to the HG's. He is more than happy speaking behind their backs.

I made no mention of Gretchen being rude. I think Gretchen as always handled herself well. I am just calling out Marcellas on everything he did not do as a "Journalist" as he has called himself this season. I have nothing against him as a pesrson, but he has claimed to be a journalist, a person who has been in the house and know how it feels, and seems to get off on people referencing him, unless it is in a negative way. He has shown this by hanging up on callers who have spent hard earned money siting on hold for an hour to get through to HC's, and he has said many times over that he posts on multiple websites, but will hang up on anyone who says they monitor other sites. He is a hypocrite and I want to see him justify himself. I for one, love the majority of things he says, but, he says not to judge or hate the folks in the house, yet he won't even speak to Beau because Beau honored him by comparing himself to him? HMarcellas could have easilly said that he appreciated the fact that Beau thought he was him, and still have asked a question or two. If Marcellas is the "Journalist" that he claims to be, or want's to be, he has to get a harder shell and accept compliments, even if he doesn;t agree.

Marcellas basically displayed the thing that we have seen on the news over and over this week due to Hurricane Katrina. Discrimination against Black americans. Think about it, if Beau had been some hot straight bald black muscular man who had said he loved Marcellas during the game, and had -played the same game Beau did, do you think Marcellas would have been so rude? I don;t think so. I think Marcellas would have sucked up. It wasn't how Beau played the game, it was how Beau p[layed the game AND that he was Gay, Black, Bald, and a personal shopper that referenced Marcellas and compared himself to marcellas.

Ok, I just watched todays HC's with Beau and I have some serious issues. First off a disclaimer. I have nothing against Marcellas as a person. I think he makes very valid points sometimes. But after today, I want to see how much he can look at himself in the mirror and look at HIS true face. And, I really don;t expect himhim to respond, becuase I don;t think he has done enough looking ito his own self to be able to respond and make sense.

I don;t know where to bein, but I will begin with his ignoring Beau completely on the show today. And remember, i am not a fan of Beaus or the Fiendsheep.

Many times this season Marcellas has refereed to himself as a "Journalist". Yet as a "Journalist" he chose to completely ignore and ridicule by actions, Beau. A "Journalist" would not do that. A TRUE Journalist would have been professional enough to set aside their personal feelings and ask the questions that needed to be asked.

Marcellas was offended that Beau referenced him many times during the show on the live feeds. As sopmeone who has watched the live feedsmany more hours than is healthy, I can only count a few times that Beau mentioned Marcellas.

For the sake of argument, If Beau is mentioning your name, hell if any houseguest is mentioning your name, that just advances your fame, so why would you be upset? You can disagree with what they say about you, but a self proclaimed journalist, you should be proud that your name lives on.

You have said multiple times that that people who haven't been n the house, do not know what it is like, yet, you as someone who has been in the house, feels free to personaly attack anyone who for whatever reason, feels some kind of kindship with you. Now given that Beau is nothing like you, should you hold hit against him that he felt some kind of similaritry to you beacause he was black and gay? He didn;t know how he was coming across to everyone just as you didn;t.

If I remember correctly, and anyone with the DVD of your season can verify or deny, I think at one point, you and Amy said you would be friends FOREVER after the show and we now know that that is not true. Does that make you a liar? No, in my opinion it just shows that whne you are cooped up in that house, you make attachments that aren't real.

I, personally, was offended by your actions on HC's with Beau. If you are the "Journalist" and "Celeb" and "upstanding, moral person" that you claim to be, you should have been able to put your PERSONAL feelings aside and interview the guest. Julie Chen does it every week. But alas, you took the low road and went against everythijng you have said all season.

Beau respected you enough to compare himself to you.

And in the end, you disrespected him for having the guts to play the game and you disrespected yourself as a supposed "Journalist" by opting out of the discussion instead of at least being man enough to ask a question or make a comment that didn't affect the game.

Many people will support you going on emotion, but I, even as much as I hate Beau, will not support you. As you have said, Anyone who has the guts to open their life up, deserves props, but you couldn;t even give Beau that.

Go ahead and respond, I dare ya. I know you won;t, beause your behavior on Tues HC's made you look bad. And anything that makes you look bad.

oh and for anyone who doesn't have the live feeds and doesn;t understand, just take a look at the Director or FEMA and Mr Bush and how they have tried to spin the events of the past weeks in their favor, then you will see how the producers are using spin control. While legal, it's wrong.

Ok, While I do agree that the "Summer of Secrets" was not quite what I imagined, I will again post a few points that people need to consider.

The Theme of each year is not so much for us, the viewer's, as it is for the HG's. Of course there weren't any big surprises for us, but we have the live feeds and message boards. The HG's however, are trapped in a cage and have no idea what is coming next. So they had the pairs, the gym, the safes, the gumball machine, the hidden wall panels, the gold room, the return of an evicted HG, 2 double on the spot nominations and evictions. While not secret to us, it definately caused some stir in the house and I think that was the intention. Folks I know that do not follow the boards, do not have the feeds and just watch the aired shows actually really are surprised and excited about the season. So, CBS has done it again. And the ratings have once again been good.

As for the comment above that this season is the worst except for season 1, I again have to disagree. Season one was actually the purest season of BB and had evereything that alot of posters (not me) want back. The only reason season 1 gets such a bad rap is because it was very low budget and because of that not especially exciting. But it was a new idea and all new ideas have a few bumps.

Season 1 had the following:

A cast of very different, total strangers who had NO IDEA what they were getting themselves into. No agents, no being worried about morals and the cameras and what the Internet folks might see. No twists, just a group of real folks who had to play what they were dealt.

A more "unkind" BB. The voice of BB in the house was not so nice and the comps were not so cut and dry (anyone remember the 48 hours dance marathon?). Or when BB would start blaring crap music at all hours of the night and no matter what the HG's were doing, they HAD to get up and dance for as long as the music played? Many times this happened in the middle of the night when they were sound asleep. And even Eddie, who had 1 leg and won the whole season, managed to get through.

The HG's actually talked about their lives and their history and had fun as well as competed and they switched alliances every week and they realized that it was a game for money.

The feeds were FREE. Although I do not think they should be free now, they should be availiable for 15 bucks for the season. This would get more live feed viewers and would totally screw the losers that ask for a refund towards the end of the season. They could just say no to refunds. Even at the price the feeds are now, anyone who asks for a refund during the last month of the show just cuz their team isn;t winning........kinda lame in my opinion and not a true fan.

BB1 also had America voting out the HG each week. And I totally understand why they stopped that. Unfortunately, during season 1, America voted out the most interesting people each week. It may be different now with the new producers casting the show, but I am not so sure. If you look at Kaysars rating of popularity before the show even started, he was the least popular and I am assuming it was because he was Iraqui. If america had voted the first week, he would have been gone. What a huge mistake that would have been.

The only way I can see bringing back America voting is to only allow 1 vote per household and make it cost like $3.00 to vote so that people can't go and vote over and over. No internet voting allowed. And there should be 3 people on the block.

Basically, if they went back to many of the positives of season one, and quit trying to create twists that don't work, the drama would be more real and the original intent of the show be a "Socialogical Experiment" would play out. It works that way in every other country that BB is aired. Everywhere else it is about what happens when you put real people in and show ALL of their positives, negatives, their nudity, their racism, their political views, their sexual behavior. Basically all of their scabs and all of their redeeming qualities. And the the viewers vote.

Bring back that concept, with the production values they have now? And you just may have a BB that is REALLY twisted and interesting.

OK folks, I really have a problem with the Marcellas bashing.

As some will remind me whenever possible, Marcellas and I had a disagreement last year. So for the record ( And Marcellas, I hope you see this) and to end the the rumors:

Marcellas, I would like to publicly apologize to you for our disagreement last year. I think we both overreacted, but i do think I was at fault (after what you said to me then and things I have heard you say since). So please accept my apology and hopefully no hard feelings. I am willing to admit when I am wrong, and I crossed a line last year without knowing it, but I apologize.

Ok, now onto the topic. While I don;t agree with Marcellas on everything he says or does on HC's, I am still a huge fan and think he does a great job. What people don;t seem to understand is that, Gratchen and Marcellas are the hosts of a show that is about opinions. Whose opinions? Well, the viewers, yes, but everyone tunes in to see what Gretchen and Marcellas have to say. Most of the questions are things we all have thought or wondered about, and it is the reactions from the hosts that we are looking for. You have Marcellas, who has been in the house, and Gratchen who hasn't, so you get differing views, and alot of laughs, and a cringe or 2.

As for the interviews? Although I would be the first one that would vote to have harsher interviews, I think they have done a great job. With the first 4 evicted, they had to censor a bit becuase they were being sequestered and they couldn;t taint the game. With the 2nd interview with Kaysar, everything was up for discussion and they did a great job (not to mention, Kaysar was able to show a realy relaxed side of himself that we hadn;t seen and he was damn funnny)

As for evil Jen, Gretchen and Marcellas had to go easy so as not to taint the jury. Would I have liked to see them really dig into her? YES, but only if it was a week earlier. I actually give them a great deal of credit for tactfully handling the interview, butu definately letting their opinions be known without compromising the game. That takes talent and restraint.

In closing, Marcellas, I hope you accept my apology and their are no hard feelings, but if not, that's ok too. I still support you and HC's. You and Gretchen really do make the show more fun.

For fans of HC's, rmember, although Gretchen and Marcellas are fans like us, they also have to be professional and not taint the game. We all know that the first time they do, Arnold will be getting petitions, hate mail and phone calls and he has asked for that not to happen It is a job for them people, they have to play by the rules to kep the game pure. Don;t hate them for that, just look forward to the finale interviews.

And finally, anyone calling into HC's, NO SHOUT OUTS TO MORTYS< JOKERS OR ANY OTHER SITE. I didn;t put 2 and 2 together when marcellas first asked nicely that people not do this. Then it continued to happen and he finally explained and it makes sense.

All of those sites are not official BB sites. The only official BB site is CBS.com. CBS.com has chat, message boards etc. They do not want unofficial sites stealing their traffic and that makes sense. So forbidding "shout outs" is not being rude, it is what CBS wants and Marcellas has to abide by that. Don;t hate him for it. Hell, I actually go into the CBS boards and find different opinions than you find here. So it is all good, but respect the fact that BB is a CBS show and they want the traffic. Don't hate Marcellas or Gretchen because they are the messengers. It is their job.

While I definately agree with alot of the things said, I think those of us with the live feeds need to step back and accept the fact that we know things in advance and we watch things many hours everyday, so nothing is a surprise or secret to us. Most of my friends don;t have the feeds and just watch the show and they think the secrets are fine so far this season. I think having the live feeds definately changes your perspective, both on the game and on the players. We see sooooo much more of certain sides that never get aired (see the HC's with Arnold Shapiro as to why certain things are not shown on the air).

As for America voting someone out, or nominating, don;t hold your breath. The fans blew it season one by voting out the most interesting people each week (at least in CBS' mind, and so that's why they changed formats)

Also, remember that the Summer of Secrets is not so much for us, as it is the HG's. So far we have the pairs twist, which was a bad idea, and even worse that sooooo many of the cast were from Florida. I find it funny that they couldn't find pairs from all over the country, and pairs who didn't live in the same state. As soon as people started figuring out that most of them were from Florida, then pairs thing was a bust. There was the Hidden room, the hidden clues to the first safe, the PB&J pass in the first safe (which would have worked if A) there were 14 strangers in the house, and if the person who held it, could keep it a secret until necessary, when it would benefit them most). There was the gym, there was America's choice, which then HG's didn't know about. There was a double eviction last week, there are still 2 safes, the gumball machine still may hold some secrets, and according to some folkls, there are still some secrets the house itself holds. Now if you are watching from the outside, you say, blah, nothing special. But, if you are one of the 14, locked up inside with no communication, alot of down time, and homesickness? You might be surprised at how much a little secert that seems lame to us can mean on the inside.

I think the twists do need to become more "powerful" in the game. I think that they need to start though by going back to 14 normal folks and not beauty pageant wannabees, and hardbodies, and people with agents.

Then, they need to take some of the ideas used in other BB's around the world and really make it a have and have not environment so people are constantly having to play to win, no one can just glide through. I think they should ration hot water, ration food, mayeb even ration sleep, unless you win it. But stop relying on the next big twist, which may or may not have any effect on the game. And I think they should go back to no discussing who you will vote for before nominations, and all voting should be done live.

But, I am a fan and will continue to be. Regardless of the flaws, I still love the show and always look forward to meeting new folks each summer, love em or hate em. I really do find it what it was originally intended to be...a fascinating social experiment.

Why pay for SuperPass only for this to happen?

YEAH!!! Oh, you must have missed my post above. And just so you wouldn't have to "waste" any of your time, I calculated it out. I based my calculation on a $30.00 BB6 3 month subscription, divided that by 85 days (the show is usually 90, but we miss the first 5 on the live feeds) and that came to 35 cents a day. Now, considering that you are missing about a day and a half of feeds, I recalculated and you are not out 52 and half cents. Geeze, the HUMANITY!!!! You better get a petition going and write Real.co, CBS.com, your congressmen, the FCC and everyone else and let them know how much a of pinch this is putting on your lifestyle.

Please post what they reply, I know we will ALL be interested in their response.

I was really impressed with Kaysar yet again today, but this time for different reasons. Today he was quick, witty, and showed a side of him we didn't get to see much in the house. He was playful, sarcastic, and just all around fun to watch and he laughed alot. That was nice to see. No worries about who wins. As they said on HC today, Kaysar really is the breakout star of this season. And I loved the fact that he can kick himself in the butt and even joke about the fact that he screwed up by giving Jen HOH. And he doesn;t seem to worrried about it. It shows that even without the money, he knows he has a great life outside the house and can admit his mistakes and poke fun at himself.

Really enjoyed him, wish he would have stayed longer

Ok folks, as one of the dir hards here I am gonna go out on a limb. Chill about the feeds and do not complain about the cost. So we get 36 hours without the feeds and actually won't know everything before the show. Wait, even with feeds we seem to know that Ivette won POV, and Jen still went. Today was 2 or 3 comps plus voting, plus an eviction. Seeing as how it does take usually a couple hours for each of those, plus there were probably multiple lockdowns, it makes sense that we didn;t see anything. We never see comps and considering that everything had to be done today, and then edited for tomorrow nights show. Seems reasonable to me.

I personally look at it this (which means most will disagree hehehehe). I get 3 months worth or feeds for 30 bucks. No other show gives me the opportunity to see so much. They have done MUCH better this season with not cutting to fish as much and for shorter lengths of time (excluding this special circumstance). Even when someone starts singing, it is only fish for a few seconds. We know more than the average viewer without feeds every week and still watch the shows. So this weeks show will be a little more interesting. It costs about 9 bucks to go to a movie, add on another 6 - 10 for popcorn and soda and you are at 16 - 20 bucks. And especially this summer, you usually walk out disappointed. Compare that to the less than a dollar maybe that you lost by not seeing the feeds all day today, and knowing that they will probably be up tomorrow morn by noon and you will still know everything that will happen during the show.

At least some of us got some chores done today heheheheh

Is it possible that the person who posted the "bashing post" decided to delete it themselves? I know I have deleted posts I have made in the past after going back and reading them. Is that a possible solution to the issue or is their something I am missing? I have never seen one of my posts reworded or edited, but I am curious to know more about your situation. I am definately not for censorship unless it is self cencorship (someting I am trying to get better at )

Eric is a negative influenece on the house. We have all seen a much friendlier more FUN house since he has been gone. To vote Eric back in just reaffirms his ego. To vote Kaysar back in, at least keeps the playing field even, But to vote Mike back, truly changes the game and makes it more intresting. I am voting for Mike and Kaysar. I would rather see Mike and Jan kissing, kaysar plaotting, than Crappy the misguided firefighter midget,, telling everyone light out at 11:30

I definately want either Mike or Kaysar back in. Definately not Eric. The house has been a MUCH nicer place without Eric there. Did you notice how Kaysar got hugs from everyone tonight. It was nice to see.

I have been voting equally for Mike and Kaysar. I think Mike deserves another chance becuase HE was the one that applied to the show and he got a raw deal. But then again, Kaysar is a great thinker and a definate plus to the house. Either of them is fine with me. If Eric comes back.....I can just see the hate starting up again. And his ego will be sooooo much bigger (as if that's possible)

As of 3:41 AM here on the East coast, the Fantasy League page at CBS.com is still down. (Thank you to all that have written to CBS). I am praying that they are ficing the scores from the last 2 episodes, but regardless, make sure you check as often as possible tommorow (today?) to make any changes. I really hope it is up sometime today with correct scores. I will post as soon as I see they are up, if anyone sees it first, please post.
