I'm pretty positive he wasn't being serious. I heard that conversation, although I can't remember who he was talking to. But it was pretty obvious to me that he was only saying that to make himself look like less of a threat. He's a big guy with a big personality. It's in his best interest to play himself off as not taking this serious and not in it to win. Come on, Borders. You should recognize that strategy!

I ended up coming to like James. He was one of my least favorite in the beginning, but listening to him talk and seeing him win that first HOH, I'm gaining a lot of respect for him.

I'm paying for the feeds every month to see as much drama and fireworks in the house as possible. The longer they keep the volatile people in, the better.

This kid is VILE. Definitely my most hated Houseguest in 17 seasons of Big Brother. The way he always makes comments/shoutouts to his 'hookers, whores and bitches is just gross. Super fake, super obnxious. BB why did you do this to us? I hope he goes very soon, while there are enough people in the house to avoid him on the feeds.

I. Love. Her! Before the season started, Austin was my favorite- and I still love him. But Da'Vonne has him beat so far. Can't wait to see the next group tomorrow and see if she'll stay my favorite, or get slid out by someone else.

My favorite part about the start of BB season is the bio threads for each houseguest and all the discussion. The lack of activity this year has been so disappointing.

It just occurred to me. I'd bet money that this was actually orchestrated by CBS/Big Brother as a marketing ploy for ratings. And I bet that 'leak' was intended. With all the news happening with Caitlyn Jenner right now, I think CBS is hoping that curiosity and controversy will bring new viewers. Well played, CBS. Well played.

It was clever of Shelli to link her Etsy page, however I notice it's been disabled. I am betting it's because of some legal terms CBS has about not allowing houseguests to promote or make money via the show while they're on it. I wanted to see what her jewelry looked like, however. So I snuck in via the backdoor of Archive.org's wayback machine, and grabbed a screenshot.

I was convinced this was Ian's brother at first, and they were going to pull a Rachel/Elisa twist. In fact, I watched it on the live feeds and his interview was first, and I thought it WAS Ian at first and that Jeff was going to do something with him, or maybe they were going to co-interview the houseguests. It wasn't until he got through his entire interview with no mention of Ian that I was sure it wasn't really a relative.

There always seems to be one from Vegas, so as a fellow local I tend to root for those at least a little bit.

My favorite so far! I'm so excited to see more of him. I used to be a huge fan of WWF/WWE when I was a kid, although that was many decades ago and I've never heard of this guy. But he sounds so interesting and I love everything I've heard and read about him so far. I hope he lasts a long time!

I have no opinion on Jase yet.

Finally figured out who she reminds me of. She seems goofy. I don't know if I'll like her.

He sounds like Bobcat Goldthwait!! Did you notice that Jeff had to tell him twice in the first 20 seconds to dial it back? Hahah! I have a feeling he's going to drive the other houseguests nuts!

I like her so far. But yeah- a professional poker player and a poker dealer in the house. I'm curious if they'll find out about each other, and how they'll interact.

I was kind of put off by what a big deal Julie made about it. The way she started talking, it sounded like she was about to reveal something horrible or shocking. I am very glad that awareness about the transgender community is spreading - I just feel like WAY too much weight was put on the topic. I've known some transgender people for years- way before Caitlyn Jenner. I guess I feel like it shouldn't be anymore shocking or surprising than having a gay houseguest on the cast. I just didn't like the presentation of Julie's announcement. Audrey shouldn't be treated or looked upon as anyone unusual.

He doesn't strike me as someone that'll be very interesting. I think he'll be spending most of his time standing around the weights in the backyard or having bro time at the pool table.

I was thinking the thread for the live feeds was stickied at the top but I don't see it, so I'll just ask this here. Do we have to contact CBS to cancel our feeds, or do they automatically end with the season? I remember in past years it was through a network that offered other music downloads and whatnot, so you have to specifically cancel the server. I'm thinking last year that was not that case, but I can't remember. Does anyone know?
