I will miss the whole rude with attitude thing (WE DON'T HAVE KETCHUP, THIS IS A HOT DOG JOINT. KETCHUP IS FOR SISSIES!...all the while when you ask, it's like you have two heads & everyone stares like you just asked Mother Theresa for sex tips). Welcome all the newbies too. According to a post on Big Brother BBQ... "Finalists have been chosen and are now being notified - calls started on Monday and will continue for the next few days. They are also calling those that didn't make it, so you will be notified either way." Note: Finalists means the ones who will become HGs plus alternates. This means that by today, they should have been chosen & notified. Anyone sure of what they do until the game actually starts?

Ah...Nak. My Industrial Psychologist buddy! How I have missed you along with too many others to name, but Catwishes & Yana should also get a special mention. It takes me back to the old house. I too am looking forward to another obsessive summer of scolding people who forget that I cannot go out until AFTER BB on Saturdays. Seriously...they thought I'd just pick them over the show?!? He, He. Hugs, kisses, & a little tongue for all that I've loved & known. And for those of you who I haven't met, yet...just a cheap game of grab a$$ until we have a nice formal round of introductions. And on a personal note... Cat- I sent you a PM . How are the kitties anyways? Nak- How's the master's program going? If I can do it, you can do it. Are you working on your thesis yet? (The boring part)? The hubby & I are getting out of Chicago and moving back to the land of the Red Wings & Michigan State SPARTANS!!! (OK, the Pistons, too). I'm looking into some State of Michigan I/O Psychologist positions. Pays good. We'll see if it pans out. Also...I know I talked about it, but I'm starting an MBA program this fall. I'm kind of nervous because my background is from the satisfaction, compensation, analysis view...not the marketing, financial view. Yikes! For everyone who was there for me during the cat scare- Cali is doing good. She really had a HARD time with the home dialysis treatments I gave her, so we have stopped them. She really was miserable. However, she's still taking other meds and is doing so good. I've gotten to the point where I can tell when her body is full of toxins and she needs to flush it out by the smell of her fur. She's been so good at taking direction & drinking water that she hasn't been sick to her stomach in almost a month (which is better than when she was first diagnosed)! Anyways...THANKS. I remember right when I heard, I was on the boards and many of you were VERY supportive. Goddess Bless All! Nicki

Hey there all you old timers! Now that we've officially hibernated the winter away in anticipation of the summer's GREATEST EVENT...It's like a family reunion to meet again. Oh, I'm sure some of you stayed in touch and spent time on Morty's...but we know that our engines are getting warmed up as we 'gear up' for BB again. I know my husband, my old roommate (hi Cheese!), & I have already began rehashing seasons past of BB to whet our whistles a little. I want to unofficially welcome all of the newbies as well, and say a big thanks to Morty as always. For those of you who were here last season, here are a few memories to dwell upon... Everyone taking on a 'Cappy' name. Then ensued the fight over the name El Cappy Tan. And Cappy...you never really did explain why/how that thread started. Enjoy the amusement as the various names wander through your mind...Cappicorn, Cap in your a$$, etc... Mine was Chappy as in Chappy a$$ or Chappy stick. First online Big Brother house game at Morty's. Wow. What started as a thread about who would be funny to be in houses together really gained momentum! And virtual or not, it really heated up in there. Right, ladies? Too many scandals to remember them all! The Scott n' Jase Fans vs. Everyone else. Brain vs. brawn arguments here. Were they just too cocky for there own good? Don't know...but there were some knock down drag out fights. Diane fans vs. Everyone else. Does playing dirty make you a bad person? Was she playing dirty or did she slit her own throat by letting her emotions take over? Last but not least...THE TWINS! All of the speculation. By the time we were done...the cameramen were sets of quads! So...I enjoy these thoughts (especially Cappy...which I don't bother trying to explain to those who weren't there anymore because I'm tired of the strange looks!). I sincerely look forward to engulfing myself in all of you again this summer. I missed you, friends. LET THE GAME BEGIN!

OK, my HUGE issue is the schedule of the live TV episodes. Tuesday...Great. Tuesdays kinda suck because they're close to Mondays (and part of that Monday feeling bleeds over). Thursday...OK, if I have to. I mean it's practically a weekend, but not completely, so I guess I can nix plans to watch Big Brother. I mean we can't expect to have total control over our addictions, can we?!? BUT Saturdays...they're killing me. I wish they'd switch the Saturday show to Sundays. I always have to make plans for after the show on Saturdays, which cancels any dinner plans in the works. OK, twist my arm...I'll just drink my dinner then! Murf aka Nicki....I'm BACK!
