  1. I agree. It's a game, but it's definitely not "fair." Also every summer like clock work the house guests always vote out any black people very early. A black person never makes it to like final five. Is it racism? I'm not sure I would go that far, but it's surely not "fair." I'm sure Production has a lot to do with planting seeds. Production knows they have to include some black people in the cast. They have to include them, but they don't really want them in the game or to win. It's obvious by the people they cast and what has gone on over the years.
  2. I need to catch up on everything that's happened in the house this week. But I would think if Alex is HOH, she probably wants Jessica out for revenge of being the source of Cody putting her up during his reign. Alex seems really cool with Paul, so it seems doubtful that she would put up Christmas, since they are aligned.
  3. Gotcha. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me dislike Paul. Clearly, Ramses is a young naive and weaker player. Paul doesn't need to do anything to him, bacause he's not a threat in any way shape or form. Picking on a weakling like this is the sign of a bully and a coward. I hope some of the house, (like the couples) start to get wise to Paul and flip on him. But I doubt it. They're a bunch of lemmings.
  4. I must have missed something. Can someone please explain to me what Ramses did and why he is so hated now. I get that Paul has asked his boys to be mean to him, but why?
  5. Here's the thing - although she did play it off well, she did say something negative about Alex. She didn't call her Panda. But she did call her Pao Pao. Was it rascist? Not sure one could go that far. But it wasn't kind and it was said in a definitely derogatory way. She made Jamie out to be a complete liar. While I do think it was crappy of Jamie to go running with this information, (and just a bad game move so early in the game before you even know what's what), Jessica kind of lied about the whole thing. The only part that wasn't true is that she never used the word "Panda." I don't like her, but I'll give her props for thinking on her feet.
  6. Nyrose, You're so right. He is somehow oddly getting a pass. But I think it's only because he is safe this week and everyone is trying to figure out their own gameplay. Unless he is a beast at challenges, (doubt it) or easily manipulated to doing what people want, I don't think he'll last too long. One thing about BB it seems, you can be volatile if you are also, crafty, smart, good at challenges or extremely attractive. He's none of those. Good to see you back.
  7. Yeah, there is something about baby Huey that just seems off. Dude, you're not the first person to play this game. And has it even been a full week of game play yet? How much could you be missing your family at this point? The way he went after the golden apple was odd. His explanation made no sense. There was absolutely no evidence that anyone was "coming after" him. It looked like completely unhinged paranoia. Thin skinned, big baby man. Unless he can do a 180 degree turnaround and consistently comport himself like a rational human being, he'll be gone.
  8. I agree. Just starting to form my opinions, but she seems kind of meh. Although I admire her weight loss journey, she doesn't seem to have any real driving force behind her. Almost like her goal was just to make it to the show. I'd rather see her go over Christmas, who seems like she could be interesting and give the boys a run for their money as the game progresses.
  9. Hi Lucibell, I'm not sure if you are new here and this is your first time posting? Perhaps the first season you've posted? But yes, you will quite often see something on BBAD that reveals something about a particular player or the game at large that has also not yet aired on the regularly televised CBS show. The feeds are actually the best place to see the latest information as it happens in real time, (minus what production blocks). For example, I'm sure the first knowledge of Christmas' injury came from the feeds. At any rate, welcome. I'm still trying to figure out what I think of this years cast of characters.
  10. What do you guys think about this BB over the top thing? Are you guys going to subscribe to all access? On one hand I feel passively aggressively annoyed at CBS for making us pay for something. But then, I kinda don't want to miss anything! Especially if they try out some new BB twists to see how they work and then use them next summer. Anyone going to subscribe? I'm torn...
  11. My hope is that Nicole has just been blowing sunshine up Paul's arse this whole time and if she wins she will take James. If Paul wins, I don't think he will take James. Even though Paul is annoying, he is a decent reader of people. And he knows James is well liked and would probably beat him. What's interesting about this season is there isn't a clear cut winner as in some years, (like Derrick). All of the finalist are fatally flawed. I hope Paul wins nothing. I would be happy for James to win AFP or the $50,000. I respect Nicole's game play to some extent, I just kind of can't get excited about her. She's like Hilary to me. I see all of the stuff you've done. I want to like you, I really do. But some of you're shit seems fake and shady. I'm left just thinking - meh.
  12. Janis, if you read my post above I never said that either Nicole or Paul were bad people. I never used those terms and wouldn't because I don't know them personally or know their hearts. Paul is kind of disgusting in his behavior and the way he has talked in the house. Nicole bugs and I don't like the way she's treated James in the last week or so. That definitely has made me loose respect for her. What I did say in my last post was that I'd like to see James win as he seems to be a good genuine person.
  13. I've always liked her (in her original season), then been annoyed (in this season). That being said, she's played a good game. In bed a lot. Yes. Snarky? Yes. Throwing people under the bus that she was supposedly aligned with? Yes. But that's Big Brother. I just don't like people trashy or talking shit about James. And he hasn't played a stellar game this time around. Maybe Nicole's whinny voice just bugs. I still maintain and would hope that James could win the whole shabang. Despite all their talking I think Nicole and Paul both will take James to the end because he hasn't won many comps (I think only one HOH), and they both think they can win over the jury. Hoepfully good will win out and James will win. I'd like to believe that people will reward a genuine, good person.
  14. I hope that if James gets the boot he at least wins AFP. But I really hope James gets second place. I could live with Nicole winning if James came in second. I would prefer that Paul doesn't win a darn thing. He doesn't seem like he needs the money anyway. He lives with mommy and daddy and from the things he has dumbly bragged about they seem to be very well off. He seems more the type that came on the show to promote his clothing store and band. He's so conceited he probably thinks he's going to get a bunch of offers to host a cable show or something. Like replace Jeff even. Yeah, right.
  15. I agree with most of the comments made about Paul. Decent at playing the game. Good even. However he is also crass, demeaning, rude, disrespectful toward women at times and the list could go on. I will say this though. It's not the first time. The thing about Evil Dick though was that a lot of the things he said about people were true. There is a difference in calling out someone on their BS and just blatant bullying. Also, I don't think men in the game have a monopoly on having horrible mouths Gina Marie, ( I think that was her name) made it to the final three I believe and she was a disgusting pig. Plenty of horrible people in both sexes. But if you ask me, Paul shouldn't win the game. Just too gross. Not to mention, what does it say to all the kids out there that watch the show? They've seen his behavior. If he wins that sends a horrible message.
  16. I don't have the feeds. But after reading night owl from last night, it appears that Paul is playing both sides. Making Nicole and James think he wants to be in F2 with each of them. Does anyone have an idea where Paul's loyalties actually lie? It used to be when Paul would play his head games he would always tell Victor what he was up to and bounce it off of him. The benefit was that we as an audience would be aware of what his scheme was. Does anyone have a clue where is loyalties are? Maybe he's just hedging his bets, so he'll be covered either way?
  17. Lord knows I love James. He has been my hope to win it all since I found out that he was going to be on this season. But holy cannoli James. How can you not remember the last words your love Natalie (who you spent most of the game pissing yours away for) said to you before she left the house? Dude, most of the HOH competition you didn't even look that engaged or like you cared. Meanwhile Nicole and Paul seemed like they were fighting for their lives and knew that every answer counted. At times the James non chalant attitude helps to make the game go smoothly and puts things into perspective. That it is just a game, when other people are freaking out. But damn James, playing that HOH you seemed like you didn't even care what the outcome was. Let the chips fall where they may.
  18. For some reason I think it might be James and Nicole in F2. Unless Paul wins HOH he's gone. James obviously threw some comps early on and then was all about Natalie and trying to protect her lame ass. The two main reasons I think it could end up being James and Nicole are because James knows he needs to win something. Not only to stay in the house, but also to have any kind of argument to the jury at the end he needs a crunch time/when it counted I won, win. The other reason I see the two of them at the end is that if Nicole gets the option of who to take I think she would take James over Corey. She knows she can't beat him head to head. Corey never really did anything offensive to any of the jurors. He acted obnoxious with Paulie a few times but nothing crazy like Paul's offensive talking. He's also been basically respectful of people. Corey has kind of been an enigma in the game to me. In the beginning people were asking if he was gay? I never got that vibe, but he almost seemed asexual. Then, he showed himself not to be the brightest bulb and happy to follow along behind Nicole. But then his game just started to jell. He learned more about the game, his "bro" Paulie was voted out of the game which I think made him concentrate more on his own game. This is will be interesting. Obviously I love James. I wouldn't mind Nicole or Corey winning. But please let Paul go home. That would just be gross if he somehow won. Just the thought makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
  19. Ho-hum. As much as I complain about some of the objectionable behavior of some of the house guests each year, I always end up coming back each year and getting hooked again. My favorite season probably was the first time around with Kaysar and Janelle. At any rate, I was kind of bummed today when there was no news coming out of the house. I know everything will be back to normal tomorrow night. But, I think I got a little sad because it's symbolic of what's coming in a week. The game will be over and my summer friend will be gone. I've been through a lot since the inception of BB. Relationships and jobs have come and gone. But BB is there every summer and Morty's right along with it. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to Morty and all of the posters prior to the season ending for being a part of one of my annual guilty pleasure and providing intelligent, spirited conversation. Cheers.
  20. Well sadly Paul is kind of the norm out here. I live in Los Angeles and there is a certain amount of entitlement in some of the younger generation that have grown up in certain areas. I'll just leave it at that without calling certain areas or nationalities out.
  21. It's a game. If you can play it with a degree of savvy and not cruelty most people end up respecting it in the end. It must be hard to be in there 24/7 with nothing but lame brains staring you in the face and stay sane.
  22. I think they get a stipend for every week they are there. But it sounds like the stipend amounts can vary. For example a newbie wouldn't get as much each week as someone like a popular returning player like a Janelle or a James.
