  1. I'm sorry but I don't agree with you.

Why is it that "winning contests" is better than "out smarting people"?

To me, they are both equal.

If only people who are athletic/smart "deserve" to win Big Brother, than they should cast nothing but jocks.

Since it's not a cast of nothing but jocks, people have to use what they have.

I've said this 1,000 times and I'll keep saying it....

Every single person who goes into the GAME of Big Brother or Survivor has their own "Rule Book" in their head of how the game should be played. And when the rest of the group doesn't play by those "rules", they are "wrong".

Well, what if my rule book and your rule book aren't the same? Why does your rule book take precedent over mine? The reason? You are trying to win. Well, so am I (speaking as a contestant). But I'm not here to help YOUR game, I'm here to help my own game and get to the end. (once again, speaking as a contestant).

IMO, any person who makes it to the final two, no matter how they got there, deserves to be there.

In Hayden's season, that final three definitely didn't ride coat tails. And even though I didn't like how they played the game, they still did better than everyone else using the strategy they had and he won.

The one thing I can't stand on Big Brother (or any other reality competition show), is the finger pointing, meaning accusing people of doing things that they have done themselves. It's that whole, "it's okay if I cheat and lie, but don't you dare lie and cheat to me!"

  2. What's wrong with Honey Boo Boo? (I actually have never seen an episode of that show)

WRT Amanda.. I think in her normal life Amanda is a very strong, opininated woman. And in the right dose, that can actually be a good thing.

But I think the stress of the BB house makes that part of her personality magnify, to where it becomes a not-so good thing.

Ok.. sort of off topic but I have a weird situation I want to discuss.

My mom went away for 7 weeks. She is staying with her best friend up in Buffalo who uses Time/Warner internet service. She does not get regular cable (she watches shows on her PC or DVD).

Well, Time/Warner dumped CBS so they can't even get to their site, it is blocked.

Does anyone know of an alternative way she could find the show and watch it online?

    My mom is FREAKING OUT!

  3. I just want to know how the producers of the show are not stopping this from continuing. It is a hostile environment and no one should have to endure what is going on there. There is a difference between ignorance and mean!

I can not tolerate any form of racism. And I truly do believe Aaryn has a few racist bones in her body.

BUT... I have to say something. Aaryn is getting all this bad press and ppl are saying she should be thrown out of the house for her comments, etc etc etc.

YET, during Season 8 people totally loved Dick for being a bully and basically using mental torture on the women in the house. IMO, that was also a hositle environment and I did not support his game play. But for some reason ppl championed him.

I get that every person has their own "line in the sand". I guess my line starts with any type of bullying.

Of course, Dick's behavior was "game play" (even tho I do believe he's probably a bully in his real life too) and Aaryn is just one of those people we have seen on Big Brother over and over again that I can't stand.

You know the type... the "i can do and say anything and it's completely fine, but if you should do anything against me, well, then you are disgusting, gross, (insert any other derogatory remark here), etc."

People like that drive me crazy!

In the same sentance she calls the women she doesn't like "bitches" and "vaginas", yet they are the disgusting ones.

"Hello, kettle? This is Aaryn. You're black."

    NOW, about Howard.

    I like him.

I love the fact that he is playing the game. Even using a little deceit. (referring to the fact that him and Spencer came up with the idea of causing some tension by splitting their vote).

And before someone brings up the fact that he's Christian and he's lying. I say, "SO WHAT?"

Do you think Christians don't play poker from time to time? And if I'm not mistaken, bluffing is a big part of Poker? And couldn't that be considering "lying"?

IMO, that is what Big Brother is. One big poker game. You play with people you like but you are still trying to take their money, and you bluff your way through the game.

  4. If "The Moving Company" really does get rid of David and not Elissa, I could see Elissa winning because that seems to happen a lot in BB history... the person not evicted ends up winning the next week and the power shifts.

BUT... even though I like Elissa (so far), she DEFINITELY IS NOT Rachel... she is not the player that Rachel was. She seems a little "too nice" to me.

Matter of fact, other than Nick, I'm not sure if there are any savvy players this season.

  5. I think she will be out week 1. If you look back at the the previous 14 seasons, more times than not, one of the attractive and/or nice girls goes home first.

    S1) Will

    S2) Cheryl (nice lady)

    S3) Lori (attractive)

    S4) Amanda (attractive)

    S5) Mike

    S6) Ashlea (attractive)

S7) Allison (girl but i dont think anyone would call her attractive or nice since she was not well liked)

    S8) Carol (attractive)

    S9) Jacob

    S10) Brian

    S11) Braden

    S12) Annie (attractive)

    S13) Keith

    S14) Jodi/Kara (nice/attractive)

  6. It was a great first episode.

I still have so many questions with regards to what the Coachs will and will not be doing while in the house.

I mean, obviously, they can't be HOH but will they get to play in the VETO comps? Vote for Eviction? Do they have their own room to share?

With only 11 players in the game, if the Coach's don't play, it will go by pretty quick.

Do you guys think they will bring back one of the evicted houseguests at some point this season?

Do you think they will eventually change it up and let the Coach's play along with the rest of the HGs? Maybe when there are only two left give them an option ~ Continue on as a Mentor for $100,000 or forget that and try with everyone else for the $500,000 and risk the chance of being evicted. Ohhhh... I can totally see that happening.
