  1. They know who will be evicted ahead of time because if you look at how they are dressed at the eviction ceremony even the live ones, there are only 2 who are not prepared to go out to the next hoh competition.  The HOH and the person getting evicted.....

This is true most of the time. The HG's try to let the person being evicted know that he/she doesn't have the necessary votes to stay. But sometimes HG's change their mind at the last minute or there is a Double Eviction and an unexpected person is evicted.  Then the one who stays have to quickly change for the competition.

  2. Yes, I am not in love with Pot Ball, or any of the stupid made up games the HGs play.  Even though they claim the live feeders request that they play these games, I find them extremely boring to watch. These are adults and not children, surely they can come up with more stimulating adult games for the HGs. I understand their boredom, but I am tired of seeing James scaring people because it is so infantile and it must get annoying to the others. Hide and Seek is also juvenile, really not appropriate for adults to play.  Maybe the DR should let them have board or card games at this point in the season.  I never could understand why they banned these things in the house in the first place.

  3. I believe the season that Dan Gheesling lost was due not so much to Ian deserving the win more, but that the house really disliked Dan Gheesling (A LOT).

They basically refused to acknowledge him as any "winner," which means he wasn't a winner since in order to win Big Brother you have to get jury votes.

That was true, but I really do not understand how some juries seem to reward the great manipulator, while others seem to punish them. It would be difficult to decide which way to play, if you were really serious about winning. I think that players like Will Kirby, Dan Geesling, Mike Malin and Derrick Levasseur are the ultimate BB players. They really deserved to win. Too bad Danielle Reyes' jury could not appreciate her brilliance.

  4. What is up with her and Austin interrogating people about their alliances??? It's none of their business I would tell them that too.  I don't see them answering questions about their loyalities.  I hope whomever comes back does not join up with Vanessa and Austin but that would be wishful thinking with this group.

So true!  I have never seen HOH's and VETO holders quiz people so much about their alliances and everything they know about other HG's.  And then have some HG's so scared to be put on the block that they sing like birds! They sell out their friends and alliance members so quickly and easily with just the threat of being put up on the block.   And for Vanessa and Austin to go on "fact finding missions" and have HG's statements "verified" by others is simply outrageous behavior.  I do not understand how they can get away with this.  :dontgetit:

  5. Vanessa is mad at Steve right now! Although Austwins wants Jmac gone. It's still only Monday. Veto wont be used.

Yes, Vanessa could change her mind five times between now and Thursday, but I will bet she keeps Steve, in the end, simply because he is better for her game.  Sure, she is angry now, but she will quickly get over it.  She will let Steve twist in the wind for a few days before letting him know how much he will be in debt to her for saving him. Vanessa will then warn Steve that he must tell her EVERYTHING from now on.  And I can assure you that Steve will never put her up, or even think about putting her up from now on!
  6. Dang, why can't Meg control herself?  All that crying was completely unnecessary. All it did was make Vanessa suspicious. I am sure that Vanessa knows that she was a backdoor target and thinks that everyone knew about it. Meg's actions could have put her or James in jeopardy.  But the good thing is that now, maybe, Vanessa will target Austin if she wins HOH instead of James.

  7. Steve claims that Christine Brecht was his favorite prior HG, but come on, I think that we all can agree that his game plan is very similar to BB winner Ian Terry. Hiding behind the master manipulator Dan Gheesling, he made it to the final 2 and got the win, even though I personally thought that Dan deserved the win more.   Vanessa is obviously the master manipulator this season and Steve hides behind her. Vanessa uses his talents of spying on the other HG's and reminding her of past game history and strategy and preparing her for the comps.  Seems no one is anxious to get rid of him and they all seem to be afraid of putting up Vanessa.   I can see him and Vanessa making it to final 2 unless the other HG's wake the f--- up!

  9. I think Steve knows exactly what he is doing,  He is playing the "socially inept nerd" very well. On BBAD, he faces the camera and tells us that he is faking it sometimes and also let us know some of his game strategy.   A lot of it makes sense, since he does not want to be seen as a threat. He admits to throwing comps or trying to throw comps when he needs to.  He loves being included in alliances because of the protection they afford him. He continues to fool Becky, James and Meg into believing he is on their side while at the same time letting them believe that Vanessa "tricked" him into putting up Meg and Jackie. His strategy of playing both sides of the house is excellent, neither side suspects he is really a savvy player.  In my opinion Steve is playing the hell out of this game.

  10. I doubt very much that Julia will make it to F2. She just does not seem to have any of the qualities needed to win the game. She is just a follower riding on Austin's and her sister's coattails. If they are voted out she would be totally lost.  Wasn't she the one who suggested putting James up after he won the BOtB?

  11. Liz is afraid that Vanessa will blow up her game if she tries to backdoor her. When Vanessa hatched the plan to backdoor Austin, Liz was the one who pleaded Austin's case to Vanessa & Shelli because Austin was a number for their side. Even though Vanessa was the HOH who changed the target from Austin to Jason, it looks like Clay & Shelli ultimately paid the price for Jason's eviction.

Liz may be afraid of how Vanessa could "spin" that situation into making it look like Liz was the one responsible for Jason's eviction. Other than that, I don't see anything of Liz's game that Vanessa could blow up because Liz has been playing Vanessa's game from the beginning. Who to nominate, what to say, how to vote has all been dictated by Vanessa.

    My sentiments, exactly!!!!

  12. What is she thinking she wants Shelli out last week it was all about getting Vanessa out and now she wants Shelli out???  I don't get the Shelli thing for James yes I get it but Vanessa is gunning for all of them James and Becky are first on her list and Jackie is not far behind.

Vanessa just told the twins that Becky and Jackie will be her targets going forward.  I am sure Vanessa plans to put them up together.  I don't know how Jackie can be so blind to consider keeping Vanessa over Shelli.  Vanessa is by far the bigger threat.

  13. Steve should know that it would be the Marcellas move if he didn't use it

Jmac did tell Steve that Vanessa is the target. I really hope he doesn't tell her.

Didn't Shelli tell Vanessa already?  And Vanessa promised Shelli that she would not let anyone know Shelli told her. This seemed to work out well for both ladies,  Shelli was able to pick Vanessa as HG choice because not to do so would raise Vanessa's suspicion, given Shelli and Vanessa's relationship.  Remember Vanessa was supposed to think that JMAC was the target?  I was wondering why Shelli picked her and suffered no repercussions from Becky. Vanessa could have won the Veto and took down Shelli and all Becky's plans would have been for naught.

  14. I think all contestants should have to pass an intensive BB history or BB knowledge test before being selected. It should not be so hard as to attract only superfans, but it should be difficult for people who really have no idea of what the game is about or how to effectively play it.  Surely CBS can find attractive people with brains.  I am tired of every season filled with hot airheads and puppets that are simply there as eye candy.    If that would be too difficult to do, then I would love to see a season of nothing but the finest superfans who have watched every episode from the show's inception, read every book there is about BB, and are skillful and cunning strategists. The winner of such a season would command respect, unlike 90% of the prior seasons winners.

  15. For some reason she annoys me. I'm just happy that at least John is safe this week.

She is not one of my favorite HG's this season, either,  She was really despicable running back and forth between the two groups.  Thank Heavens that she seemed to have picked James, Meg and Jackie's side.

    Well, at least for now!

  16. Wonder who will be evicted if it is Vanessa vs Shelli. Becky & Johnny Mac seem to want Vanessa out, and can probly count on Jackie, but need 2 more votes. Not James-he'd be nuts to keep Shelli, & Meg MIGHT vote with him out of loyalty. Steve will be assaulted with game talk from all sides & could go either way-if he doesn't implode from sudden popularity.

From what I have seen and heard on the live shows and BBAD, Vanessa will DEFINITELY be the one to go.  Meg, James and Jackie have assured Becky that they will definitely vote Vanessa out.  Johnny Mac knows Vanessa has thrown him under the bus, trying to get him placed on the the block as the replacement nominee, so he will definitely vote her out. And it really doesn't matter what Steve, Austin and the twins do, because even if they gave Shelli their 4 votes, Becky, as HOH, would be the tiebreaker.

  17. IF Vanessa goes up as the replacement nominee, I wonder how long it will take Austin & the twins to figure out that their ( Austin, Liz, Julia and Steve) will not be enough to save their precious Vanessa.

They cannot appeal to James, Meg, Jackie and especially Johnny Mac because Vanessa destroyed her own credibility with them.

I kinda wonder how Austin and the twins will play the game without Vanessa telling them exactly what to do?

They will start to worship at he shrine of Goddess Shelli.  I don't think the three of them have any idea of  how to play the game.
