  1. This entire week depends on where Christine's loyalties lie. I will explain: Here are the likely noms - Nicole noms Zach and Jocasta. Donny noms Caleb and Victoria. 5 votes needed to evict. If Zach and Jocasta on the block: Derrick, Cody, Frankie Caleb vote to keep Zach. Will Christine vote with Detonators or risk pissing those guys off? If Caleb and Victoria are on the block: Derrick, Frankie, Cody, Zach would likely vote to keep Caleb. Derrick WILL ensure Caleb stays because he is loyal and controllable. Again, Christine is deciding vote. Where do you think Christine's true loyalties lie?
  2. There have been new alliances every week!!! Depending on who gets HOH on Thursday, expect more alliances....
  3. Doesn't matter. Amber decided that it would be a great strategy to name Caleb as her new target. The word got back to Caleb via the guys. Now Amber is going out on a 9-0 vote and the guys have welcomed Caleb back into their arms as a loyal alliance member. Did she really think that anyone in this house knows how to keep a secret??
  4. IF Derrick and Cody really want to work it, they could throw in the hinky votes and reel Caleb in. All the guys in the alliance are getting ready to turn on the others.
  5. I'm pretty sure I watched that. She was saying that all the guys she dated were like him and she got really hurt and that is the reason her guard is up. She was really working it. I believe its because Derrick and Cody told her that she would need Caleb's vote.
  6. I actually don't agree. While TA will help keep him safer, Derrick's best play is to get rid of both Donny and Frankie. I believe he would win over everyone else in the house.
  7. I am rather a straight forward person. While I always strive to be kind, I am honest. There ARE ways to be honest and not make enemies in the house rather than let others control your path. It is extremely difficult for me to place 100% of the blame on Caleb when she says to him that he's perfect and genuine and that the only reason she wouldn't be interested is her past hurts. It makes me wonder what else she has said to him that the cameras did not show. And before this post gets jumped all over, I do see Caleb's behavior as obsessive and I am still disturbed over his attitude towards women in general. But he is now definitely being led to believe that her feelings are more than they really are. He had the truth handed to him and now she's convinced him that what she said was taken out of context. Grrrrr.
  8. I am actually frustrated that she really can't stand him but what does she say to him??? She tells him that he's "perfect and genuine" and that her guard is merely up because of getting burned by guys like him in the past. Furthering his belief that if he just continues showing her his affections, she will eventually lower her guard and let him into her heart. Why Amber?!?! For a vote????
  9. Add: "It is what it is" - Do a chaser Wasted in 15 minutes!! LOL
  10. As a parent, I can unequivocably state that his father's motivation is that Caleb is his son. Whether Caleb feels close to his father or not... Parents want to protect their children. And yes, I think Caleb has a good heart overall but he needs to learn to respect women.... As EQUALS.... Not as a weak creature.
  11. I apologize if I came across as saying that all conservatives are that way. I did not mean it that way. Perhaps my wording was wrong. Religious fundamentalist might be the more appropriate word, though again... I would not state that all religious fundamentalists believe that way. But I was raised in a deeply conservative, religious fundamentalist house so I am well aware of the scriptures that were taught regarding this subject that I believe are often twisted by men to control their wives. I lived through it personally, not only as a child but as an adult. Which is why I have a problem with this particular behavior pattern. I don't want to offend anyone so I will leave it at that with the sincere offer of an apology for not wording things sufficiently.
  12. I do agree with most of what you say. I don't think he is crazy. I think he is fame hungry. I think he was raised in a deeply conservative family where men are to be the provider/protector and the women are meant to be helpmates to the husband. In modern society, this view of relationships means that women are viewed as lesser beings. And his words regarding women as hoes that'll line up to have sex with him is disturbing. It falls back to the age old double standard where men who sleep around are studs, and women who do the same are whores/sluts. Wanting Amber to see "her place" in the house means that he sees her place as a lesser position and that he is the only one with power over her. These are the things I have issues with. I do NOT believe that he will turn into a psychotic killer, nor do I believe Amber will need a restraining order. It should be EVERYONES wish that his eyes are opened and that he learns from his actions in the house.
  13. I agree. They egged him on to like her and now they are egging him on the other way.
  14. She hates the women that are prettier than her. Aka... Almost all women.
  15. I'm just really sad about it. He HAS the potential to be a genuinely nice, caring person. He really does. And I see glimpses of that on the live feeds but the disdain for women. Wanting to put her in her place. I REALLY have a problem with him referring to women as "hoes". HUGE problem with that. I can understand calling her names after finding out that she was talking about him behind his back. I would call people names if they were talking behind MY back... But this? Target her, get rid of her... Thats fine. But wanting her to stay as long as she submits to his control? Uh nooo.
  16. I've tried for a long time to remain impartial. I've really tried. But no one is forcing Caleb to say things like "so she can learn her place" etc. Even though the other players were admittantly encouraging his delusions in the beginning. He would pull away from her and question whether she liked him and they would feed his ego and get him back to believing falsely that she really liked him (they HAVE admitted doing that). And even though I know that they are once again manipulating him to hate her... As a woman, I have a serious problem with his attitude and the way he would use manipulation to get her back under his control. I dealt with that kind of manipulation in my first marriage where my husband used religion against me (i.e. wives are to submit to their husbands). I have no doubts whatsoever that it is learned behavior. But how about we also bring up him saying that when he gets back to his home town that he believes the "hoes" will be lined up for him. I am done being nice. I am done rooting for him. I am done defending him. I also am not going to go overboard and call him a psychopath. However, I will call him a misogynist jerk. I hope this is a learning experience for him but the person he is showing himself to be is not someone that I am willing to be a friend with.
  17. She's gonna get backdoored this week. No worries about being stuck in jury house with Caleb now. LOL
  18. If she were smart, she would definitely use Caleb in the upcoming weeks. But she won't.
  19. Powerless to me means they are currently not the HOH nor in the direct line/alliance to affect the HOH's decisions. And the change in the wind that I was talking about is exactly the scenario you described. But they won't make a move until the nominees are set (after POV/ceremony) or if someone new wins HOH on Thursday.
  20. I agree with you to an extent. There are others in the house playing the game but they aren't "in power" so they are playing defensively. This is about the time that people are really waking up to the fact that they are powerless. I do sense change in the wind. And how odd is it that there have been new alliances born every week?? LOL
  21. I think she goes where the power is. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out who is running things. Tonight it seems clear that she is continuing her pursuit of Cody. Kinda hope Frankie DOES nominate Amber. I'd love to see the fireworks!
