I'm def going to vote for her as AF just so all the freakish weirdos that bash her on the feeds all day and get a stipend from CBS will be forced to go back to bashing her on random TV forums via their parents basement.

The trolls in that house are by most peoples admission (including their employers) a sad group of people but their disgustingness is attractive to people who share their morals and values and can easily relate to their behavior so they do have a few supporters.

I feel almost guilty having to admit this but if you put me in a house with racists, bigots, pill-poppers, sexists, bullies etc etc & people with horrible hygeine who joke about kiddie-porn, the Holocaust, being adopted, being Bi-racial.....I might not be able to hide my disgust as well as Elissa did, she may not be a Saint but she's got a stronger stomach and more tolerance than me.

Salute to Queen Elissa.

:D

Rachel jr may win AFP. but not with my vote.

I just hope that her son doesn't suffer any taunting at school or online over her behavior...

It's very unfortunate for a child when their mother abandons them for 3 months, and makes them a target of ridicule, all for the purpose of ho'ing for fame and attention. I can understand someone doing it for money in order to better their family, but in Ellissa's case it's only about herself. As a mother, she should be ashamed.

She is so different from her sister. I thought she handled herself very well, considering how she was treated. I know she would "stir the pot" but I also kind of liked that about her. I'm a bit of a pot stirrer myself.

While I don't love everything about her, because none of us are perfect, she was my favorite. I miss watching her do yoga. It was a nice bit of calm in a crazy house.

I do wish she would realize how beautiful she is without the odd eyelashes, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I also wish she wouldnt wear so much makeup, but Im a hippie and mother is always wishing I'd wear some.

I kinda wish her gameplay was better, but whatever . I'm a little surprised I liked Rachel's sister as much as I did.

I agree - your child should always come first. Before fame and adventure. (and yes I know it is not popular to think your child should come first but I strongly believe that) As a mother I could never ever do that. :disappointed:

I actually kind of liked Rachael, or at least tolerated her much better. Sure, I knew the producers pretty-much set the game up for her to win, but I didn't mind that much considering the other options. She was at least interesting to watch, even though I'd never want to be near her in RL.

Elissa... yawn. Boring, with all of Rachael's faults (and many more!) and none of Rachael's positives. If BB brought her on the show hoping she'd be another Rachael, they failed miserably.

Tbh, my opinion of Rachel often shifted. At first I liked her, then I didnt, then I did. I often pitied her treatment in the house as well. She annoyed me and made me uncomfortable but in the end I think the opinions of the house guests after they left the house and really got to know her, helped shaped my opinion on Rachel more than anything else. So I am more fond of Rachel than not.

I was expecting a similar roller coaster ride with Elissa and was grateful it never happend. I simply enjoyed her, which I found surprising. She doesn't look like someone I would, but I guess its hard not to let some of our personal bias shape our first impressions of someone.

I tend to be a near end of season poster and I wish I could go back and see my comments about Rachel, but I think I represented them accurately.

I get that alot of you don't like Elissa but lets be truthful here, she did not make her son a target for ridicule. She did not act in anyway inapproprate we can have the she abandon her child debate until we are all blue in the face, it won't change my mind or yours. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of her and I am fine with whatever you want to say about her. You can beleive all you want that she is hoing for fame and attention, but I will not comment on her being a bad or a good mom because I do not know her. Her son should not even be brought up the fact that the 5 remaining houseguests find that it ok to talk about an 8 year old child is also ridiculous.

Look how long this thread is! Lol, I don't understand why people are so polarized by this woman!

My perception of her is not favorable for several reasons but I couldnt care less if she wins AF.

ANYONE who is willing to go on BB should have their head examined IMO. As a mother, I don't think she committed any embarrassing acts to shame her family but I'm with Marty on putting your kids first. I would never even CONSIDER leaving my 8 yr old child for a selfish adventure. She doesn't need the money so what is her reason for being there? If anyone can come up with an unselfish, NON-narcicistic reason, I'm willing to reconsider my opinion on the subject.

To build up and promote her yoga business that aids in providing for her family? I mean its ok for men to go on long term business trips, why not women?

Orrrrrr, to raise money for her ministry as she has stated many times over and over.

Her son is 8. I am not trying to get anyone to be an Elissa fan. You either like her or you don't. I don't care if you make fun of her lips her face whatever you are all entitled to your opinion. We all do things in our lives for whatever reason, but I just don't think that we should bring her son into the conversation he was not on big brother. There have been many people that have played the game of big brother who have had children it would be a personal choice to leave them or not but there are many circumstances which you may not be taking into consideration. My children were with their father in the summer. Her son may or may not live with her full time.

Absolutely. She made a point of bragging constantly how she didn't need the money, so I guess she abandoned her kid just to be on TV, Sad,

Hmmm. Now, Don't get me wrong, I'm an American capitalist pig & think people should be free to make the most of their opportunities & work to make as much money as they like...but if my husband is loaded & I have an 8 yr old child, How is it not a selfish act to leave him for three months just to have 15 min in hopes of making MORE money? To provide for one's family is admirable and necessary. But if you have two or three homes, I'd have to come to the logical conclusion that they are WELL provided for.

Yes, im probably a dinosaur for still believing that a mother's priority should NATURALLY be to nurture her children above all else, but there it is! I'm a complete sap when it comes to my kids. If I previously home schooled my son & was sending him off to public/private school at the age of 8...and was off on an adventure during that transition, you can bet your sweet patootie that I wouldn't expect anyone to think I had my priorities in order.

What can I say, I'm from a different era I guess. Motherhood isn't glamorous but "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world," for good or bad. Yes, I'm a thousand years old! Lol

The only thing about her son that is relevant is that it demonstrates what a poor mother she is. I find it sad that her son will likely learn to be a narcistic attention-ho' like the rest of the family.

I doubt you are qualified to to say what another persons child will end up like based their mother being on a 3 month reality show where she displayed none of the vile and disgusting behaviors that her fellow players did.

Do you think her son will grow up to be a racist, misogynist or bigot based on her behavior or a sexist using words like Ho' in conversations?

As a parent myself while we are on the subject of parenthood I'd rather have a daughter like Elissa who carries herself like she was raised in a house instead of a septic tank than a drug-addled daughter making racist remarks and losing her job or a daughter performing sex acts on live Internet feeds for millions to see.

People feel desperatly compelled to bash Elissa because her success reminds them of their own failure, it's why the miscreants on the live feeds bash her non-stop like obsessive freaks

I'm more successful than Elissa by far AND it's by my own hand- not some husbands so there goes your theory.

We don't all endlessly bash. eyeroll

Most live feed chat miscreants are teens.

I personally find your obsessive defense of TV strangers equally disturbing. Almost stalkerish.

But hey, enjoy.

One thing Elissa said that I had to respect was when she stated this:

"if you throw a rock into a pack of dogs the dog that yelps is the dog that got hit"

I can drop an indirect post on Twitter and get a response pronto from the insecure and inept who will roll their e-eyes and share their personal information as if I was directly addressing them.

Freakish people who will obsessivley stalk my every word like sick loners desperate to be acknowledged....I want them to hold a mirror to their face.

Good points, Taharqa. I noticed that too.
