But use to happen last month? Must be a global warming thing...

I think a lot of people have just moved on from the fever-pitch excitement of BB. They will watch but the die-hard fans are dwindling cos Grodner/CBS have allowed the show to go downhill so much, not only with the same boring content but the constant bringing back former HG's and now bringing in ppl from Survivor, TAR, etc. It just gets old and hard to get excited about it.

Rachel is doing the reality check show on Super Pass with Daniele Denato or however you spell it (Dick's daughter from season 8/13). So no, Rachel will not be on the show as a HG this year.

Last year Daniele did a super pass show before she went into the house and saw the house pics before she went in. So I dont think Rachel getting to see the house and doing a super pass show disqualifies her from going into the house. Not saying I believe the rumors either

Can't remember now where I saw it but someone posted a charity event in Florida that Brenchel, ED and others were going to be at and I believe it was July 27th so no way Rachel could be anything but a come 'n go mentor or host a comp this year. The less we see of Rachel the better in my opinion.

Something else suspicious. Janelle tweeted that she was going to Greece. Said something like she would be in Greece in 24 hours and posted a pic that was suppose to be from the airport. Someone found the exact same picture on another website. So the pic was face.

Found the post about Brenchel, et al being at some charity...right here in Morty's called Hearts of Reality...July 26-29. Just looked it up and apparently it's legit...looks like they got everyone who ever participated on BB, TAR, Survivor, Ghost Hunters, The Mole, etc. and is not currently employed other than being a "reality tv star" to participate. The charity is something called "Give Kids The World"...never heard of it but kind of like "Make A Wish Foundation" I guess.

So assuming the mentors rumor is true:

* We can assume that someone from Rachel's team gets to determine the order that they play in Head of Household comp.

* The "game changing shocker" is that a Golden Power of Veto is given to Rachel to award to the player of her choice.

* Someone will be offered Pandora's Box immediately, but if they open it, Rachel gets to also play in the game.

Why would Janelle leave her new husband and new baby to come back to BB? Don't see it happening. And the show Dani and Rachel are suppose to be on, is suppose to be a weekly show from my understanding Nebartist.

I think if anything Rachel is helping with the show's pre-production and might be doing stuff behind the scenes. I love Rachel (I was one of the few who liked her in seasons 12 AND season 13, not just 13) but even -I- do not want to see her again this season. I actually feel as if it would be better for both her and Brenden, to just married and focus on that aspect of their lives instead of CBS and reality television stuff.

I want to see a season of all new house guests, with a truly dynamic cast like the cast of BB10, with lots of fighting (not just cat fights) and the good old fashioned mental mind-games style of play.

Even Rachel once a week is too much Rachel for me. Personally I don't think she and Brendon will ever get married any more than he will ever get his degree and actually get a JOB in cancer research. He's just a "professional student" and he can yap all he wants about hanging up his reality tv shoes but I doubt she will let him or if he really wants to. CBS is just too easy a job for these idiots.

As for Janelle, I hope Casper is correct and we don't see her again.

I think we will probably see a lot of past HG's giving their 2 Big Brother cents' worth via web cams and taped interviews, not actually coming into the house (cheaper for CBS).

Personally, I just want the original format back: new people who don't know each other, fun comps, lots of strategy, and a show worth watching again.

I just don't understand "mentoring" new people...let them play their own game without Rachel pretending she really won a game Grodner practically handed to her, let them play and experience the Big Brother game the way it is supposed to be played, and let them play the game without the uphill battle of past HG's in the house whom Grodner is going to make sure don't get booted out early.

Perfectly said. My thoughts, exactly.

The Mentor rumor could very well be true as it would be a chance for Grodner to bring her favorite HG's from other seasons back to the show. I don't see how Janelle could do it as she just gave birth to a baby a few months ago I think so that I think is out. Mike Boogie probably not because I think he is in trouble with the law. As for Rachel I totally see her coming back to the show as well as Dan coming back to the show. What the problem is I could see HG's come out of the House and claim the show was rigged and they never had a shot in the show. To me this would hurt the show instead of help it.

The rumor where you can win more than one HOH in a row seems like a twist Grodner would do, but it seems like it might be unfair and I kind of like the idea of the HOH from the previous having to fight not to be placed on the block.

Basically I don't like either of the twists that have been runored. I think Grodner is a bad Producer for the show and should be fired from her job because she is lazy and doesn't have an imagination. Personally I think the bringing past contestants has been used way too much in the past few years and a totally new cast should be used. I fully expect former HG's to come back in the house though as I doubt Grodner knows anything out.

Rachel mentoring: "At this point in the game, it will seem like you're about to be kicked off, but Pandora's Box will save you, because you're with me. Also, pretzels are your friends."

Dan mentoring: "On day one, make friends with someone who is clearly overplaying his hand. Also, when you play Houseguest Russian Roulette, don't worry about whether the world is snickering at the idea. And hey, Judas was not such a bad guy."

Mike Boogie mentoring: "Try to slide through the entire game on the coat-tails of the best player in the house."

Janelle mentoring: "God I'm beautiful."

I finished watching the videos posted on SuperPass. The interview with producers Grodner and Meehan was interesting. Grodner said they read the twitter posts and some forums to see what the viewers are thinking. She said if any of the viewers could come up with something better than slop she'd like to hear it but they continue to have it because it's suppose to have all the nutrients they need.

Thought it was interesting she stressed how they never rig the game and try not to make too many changes because it wouldn't work (how do you know if you don't try it?).

Spicey gave the house tour and she showed the extra door in the HOH room where they keep Pandora's Box. Good grief. Here we go again with the same old thing.

Anyway, I think you need to watch the videos for yourself to hear their side of things. She also interviewed Julie Chen and Julie joked around about how she didn't like "Chenbot" when she first heard it but now likes the nickname. Bless her heart.

I can probably safely guess Cowboy from BB5 will not be a mentor. I saw him this past Saturday playing host at the Gilleys restaurant that just opened inside the Choctaw casino in Durant, OK. He had a look on his face that said someone please recognize me, well....that could be his everyday look.

I was going to ask for a picture but he was busy showing guests to their tables and taking drink orders.

...If they do bring back mentors, I'll probably be not watching. You will get 4 teams of three, one person who is on mentor A's team is a fan of mentor B. They jump ship the other 2 from A get the boot. C & D team up take out B......No houseguest interaction or character building because they all want to talk or be around the mentors, sounds like a boring summer. The commercial teased last night 4 big surprises. Sorry, I'm jumping all over the place, lol.

Well, that just proves Grodner does NOT listen to the fans. Many many people have wanted to do away with slop and the have-not's (it's just no fun watching people sit around and complain about slop and cold showers) and go back to competing for food as a house and they get what they get.

As for not rigging the game...give me a Big Brother Break Grodner!! How stupid does she think the fans are? Jani was going to get evicted and suddenly Howie's buzzer does not work and they have a re-do (even tho Jani was elim with a wrong answer she gets to play again) and Jani wins HOH....the weeks Brendon and Rachel get elim conveniently is a revolving door week...I could go on and on...! Grodner manipulates it as far as she can until she can't because it would be obvious to a newborn at that point.

Boogie was almost guaranteed to win Dull Stars because Will already won and Grodner just about handed the game to her precious Rachel. The "vets" were guaranteed to go far in the game because they were "vets".

She just keeps shoving these people down our throats because she "doesn't want to make too many changes" (aka you are one LAZY producer Grodner and you don't want to listen to the fans who have good ideas because, heaven forbid, your ego won't let you admit that anyone but you has a good idea...also you don't want to run the risk of using someone's idea and thinking you might have to pay them for it...gasp, which you wouldn't anyway!!!). This is why CBS is so scared of Glass House...not that it's a "rip off" but maybe they will have some fresh ideas the fans will like.

I probably won't watch either if the mentor thing is as bad as I think it's going to be!

Prediction: As soon as we see two of Rachel's Angels evicted, the tears will flow: "Nobody likes me!" It'll all be about her.

Er......the NON-tears will flow, I should say.

Hehehe...I almost forgot about the "we work/worked so hard..", "everyone is/was against us..." and my favorite Rachelism..."we had a target on our backs from day one..." (especially since she seemed clueless about why that might happen...lol!!).

I hope the backyard has a couple of big bushes for her to hide and bawl in!! No worries tho, Rachel has a Fairy Grodmother to protect her....barf!!!

By the way, if the Rumor about mentors is true, I predict the rumor about an eviction on premiere night is also true. In fact, I would predict that one person from 3 teams will be evicted. Here's why I say that. The ads said the most houseguests ever. We know that means there has to be at least 17 (there were 16 once before). But with mentors, there needs to be an even number on each team.....so the 2 numbers that come close to our normal number of 13 or 14 that are evenly divisible by 4 are 12 and 16 newcomers. Twelve is too few for it to be "the most ever," which means it has to be 16 newcomers. But that's too many to get us down to a single winner by the finale date, without numerous double evictions.....unless one from three teams is evicted.....putting us down to 13 at the end of the premiere night. So we would have an immediate HOH, whose team is safe....with the other teams each losing one player on premiere night.
