Brad and Angelina

Inside Edition trapped Jon Voight on the weekend ... seems he is still estranged from his daughter, and would not comment on the couple rumour ...

He was estranged from his daughter LONG before the Brad Pitt rumors. I also agree with someone that mentioned getting upset by reading these posts. I like Angelina and LOVE Jennifer. I will be very disappointed in Angelina as a human being if she did inteed cheat with, or even date, Brad while he was still married.

Tabloids are running rampant again this time about Jennifer and Vince Vaughn and from the pics I seen, they would make a beautiful couple.

As for two gorgeous parents procreating to make a beautiful baby, beautiful parents do NOT make a beautiful baby. There are other genes running through them. Have you seen a few of his family members? Or how about hers? Imagine the kids looking like Jon Voight, ugh! Or her brother? Or her when she was younger? Sorry all, you may think they are the most beautiful couple in the world, but that doesn't make for a beautiful baby.

Angelina's baby back home

BANG

July 18, 2005

(BANG) - Angelina Jolie's adopted daughter is safe at home after spending a week in hospital.

Six-month-old Zahara was treated for dehydration and malnutrition at a New York hospital after her new mom Jolie collected her from an Ethiopian orphanage.

Dr. Jane Aronson, who looked after the tot, told America's People magazine: "The baby is doing great. And, most importantly, mother and daughter have bonded."

Last week, it was revealed that Angelina's lover Brad - who was recently released from hospital after suffering a mild bout of viral meningitis - is playing dad to Angelina's new daughter.

Although he was not named on Zahara's adoption papers, the handsome actor was overheard asking the baby girl: "How do you like your new mommy and daddy?"

Dr Tsegaye Berhe, who handed over Zahara to her new parents at the Addis Ababa orphanage, recently revealed: "They were like any couple looking at their child for the first time.

"They were so happy. Then they turned to me and said, 'This makes us a whole family.'"

Brad has already become close to Angelina's adopted three-year-old son, Maddox, and was recently seen teaching him how to ride a bike.

LOS ANGELES, California -- Brad Pitt is seeking to become the adoptive father of Angelina Jolie's children, the actor's publicist announced recently. A legal petition seeking to change the names of the children to Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt was filed Friday, December 2 in Los Angeles, publicist Cindy Guagenti said.

In a written statement to The Associated Press, Guagenti commented, "We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children." The press release continued, "No further comment is being made at the present time." The couple has been romantically linked since the filming of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

For months, rumors have been circulating about the extent of Jolie's off-screen relationship with Pitt. Photos published in the July 11 issue of People show Jolie standing near her England estate while Pitt rides a dirt bike with Maddox, 4. Other photos show Pitt, Jolie and Maddox at Luton Airport outside London. Both children were adopted by Jolie. Zahara is just under a year old.

Pitt and Jennifer Aniston announced their separation in January, and Aniston filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce became final in October. Pitt, 41, has denied Jolie, 30, was the reason for the split. Aniston has been making couple headlines of her own recently.

Earlier this week, Aniston and actor Vince Vaughn were pulled over in Scottsdale, Ariz., police said. Vaughn passed a sobriety test and was not cited for any violation, police said. For months, reports have swirled that Vaughn, 35, and Aniston, 36, are dating. Last month, People magazine published photos showing the couple kissing in Chicago, possibly confirming that their relationship has grown romantic.

Maddox enjoys some fun in the waves with his future

adopted dad, Brad Pitt and his mom, Angelina Jolie

LOS ANGELES, California - Angelina Jolie is expecting a baby this summer with Brad Pitt, finally affirming the long-presumed relationship previously only glimpsed on African beaches and in paparazzi snapshots. Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, told The Associated Press on Wednesday, January 11, that Jolie is pregnant and that Pitt is the father, confirming People magazine's earlier report.

"Yes, I'm pregnant," Jolie was quoted in People magazine as telling a charity aid worker on Monday, January 9, in the Dominican Republic, where she is filming "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon. The news comes one month after papers were filed to make Pitt the adoptive father of Jolie's two children.

Jolie's father, Jon Voight, was reached Wednesday morning for his reaction by entertainment TV show "Access Hollywood." The Oscar-winning star of 1978's "Coming Home" said he had not spoken to Jolie, but said, "Angie is my daughter and I am always wishing the best for her."

Previously, Jolie, 30, and Pitt, 42, had not publicly acknowledged their relationship despite increasingly frequent sightings of the couple. They had been spotted together across the globe: in Canadian shopping malls (near Pitt's movie set for "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"), vacationing on African beaches and, most recently, in Pakistan.

In November, Pitt and Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N., toured quake-devastated areas in Pakistan. Jolie also met with Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf. Jolie, whose films include "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Alexander," is divorced from actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.

Pitt, the star of films including "Ocean's Eleven" and "Troy," had no children from his four-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston, which ended in divorce last October. The couple cited irreconcilable differences. Pitt has denied Jolie was behind the split. Pitt and Jolie also starred together in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" last year.

It's a baby girl for Brangelina

E! Online

2006013120pitt_t.jpg

LOS ANGELES - And, lo, she has come to pass, the most celebrated of celebrity babies: Shiloh Nouvel Pitt-Jolie. Angelina Jolie gave birth to Shiloah, a girl, Saturday night in Namibia, a statement from Brad Pitt's publicist said.

There were no details on how mother, baby and Pitt were doing. The girl is the third for Jolie, 30, who previously adopted tots from Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively. It is the first biological child for her and Pitt, 42, the Oscar-winning actress' offscreen costar.

Shiloh is a name of Hebrew origin meaning, "His gift," per thinkbabynames.com. It also associated with an 1862 Civil War battle, and a Neil Diamond song about a desperately lonely childhood. (Diamond's imaginary friend, however, spelled his name "Shilo.")

Shiloh's future classmates at Hollywood Montessori potentially include: Suri ( Tom Cruise- Katie Holmes); Zolten and Moxie CrimeFighter (Mr. and Mrs. Penn Jillette); and, Moses and Apple ( Gwyneth Paltrow- Chris Martin).

While Shiloh's parents have yet to marry, they are already entrenched in family life. In January, Jolie's two older children, Maddox and Zahara, formally added Pitt's surname to theirs. Pitt is in the process of becoming Maddox and Zahara's adoptive father.

Jolie and Pitt met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, their 2005 action hit. They've been an item since Pitt split with then-wife Jennifer Aniston in early 2005.

Though a Hollywood couple in the figurative sense, for the last several weeks, Jolie and Pitt have been a Namibian couple, holing up in that African republic to await the arrival of the baby. An ongoing Namibian radio station poll showed approval by a 52-48 margin Saturday that Jolie's birth day be declared a public holiday.

Jolie-Pitt baby delivered by C-section

By JAKE COYLE, AP Entertainment Writer

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The African-born daughter of Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was delivered by Cesarean section in a weekend surgery and birth that "went flawlessly," Jolie's doctor said on Tuesday.

Details of the birth, which occurred on Saturday at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital in the Namibian town of Swakopmund, were first disclosed in a statement the couple furnished exclusively to People magazine.

Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, later confirmed the magazine's report.

The infant, named Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, weighed 7 pounds (3.18 kg) at birth and was described as healthy, though a surgical delivery was necessary because the baby was in a potentially risky feet-first breech position in the womb.

"Angelina underwent a scheduled Cesarean due to breech presentation," said Dr. Jason Rothbart, the couple's Los Angeles-based obstetrician, who oversaw the delivery.

"Brad was with Angelina in the operating room the entire time and cut the umbilical cord of his daughter. The surgery and birth went flawlessly," he said.

Rothbart added that the doctors, nurses and other staff who assisted him were "amazing," and he called the delivery "a team effort."

"We would like to deeply thank the staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital for all their kindness and commitment in assuring the successful birth of our daughter," Jolie, 30, and Pitt, 42, said in a joint statement.

The infant Shiloh joins their two adopted children, Cambodian-born son Maddox, 4, and daughter, Zahara, an Ethiopian native who is about 15 months old, in a blended celebrity clan recently labeled "the World's Most Beautiful Family" by People magazine.

But so far, no pictures of the family's latest addition have emerged. Photographers from all over the world have flocked to the southern African nation in hopes of capturing first images of the newborn that are expected to be worth millions of dollars.

Jolie, who won an Oscar for her role in the 1999 movie "Girl, Interrupted," and serves as a goodwill ambassador for UN High Commissioner for Refugees, took a shine to Namibia during production on the 2003 film "Beyond Borders."

Jolie and Pitt became acquainted in 2004 while working together on the film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," a dark comedy in which they co-starred as a couple of assassins whose marriage gets rocky when they're assigned to kill each other.

Rumors of an affair between the twice-divorced Jolie and Pitt heated up after the actor and his ex-wife, former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston, split up in January 2005.

While their relationship quickly became one of Hollywood's most talked-about open secrets, Pitt and Jolie only confirmed their romance about five months ago, when they announced she was pregnant with his child.

New Parents Brangelina Give Namibia $300K

Entertainment News

by Matt Webb Mitovich

Not long after welcoming their firstborn child into the world, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $300,000 to help newborns in the impoverished southern African country of Namibia, where they have been staying. The celeb couple also pledged $15,000 for a school and community center in Swakopmund, which they had visited. UPDATE: Jolie's obstetrician tells People that he delivered 7-lb. baby Shiloh via Caesarean section "due to breech presentation," and that the birth went "flawlessly." I win the office pool.

She is cute, but I have seen much cuter looking babies. The 2 most beautiful people (burf) don't always make the most beautiful baby. Most babies are cute anyways. I just can't be happy for them yet.

Lol, Im with ya there, just cant be happy for them yet. But I have to say something abotu the name, I know celebs want original names, but doesn't Shiloh kinda open the door for kids to make fun of her in school? (kinda obvious what she could be called) I just wish people would think of the kids growing up, like with Gweneth, her kids are Apple and Moses??? I just dont think its fair for the kids!
