Chickendirt
Braden is out of the game cause what he did was extremely stupid. He probably could have had Kevin's vote but instead chose to attack him. He could have used Lydia, pretended he didn't know what she did, turned her vote, and put the screws to Jesse and Russell. Braden is moron and did the dumbest thing you could do when on the block. He's an idiot and deserves to be where he is at. Total idiot.
brainshart
He probably could have had Kevin's vote but instead chose to attack him. No, Kevin is a little poodle following Lydia around on a leash. The guy has no strategic vote of his own. He's a floater through and through.

He's a floater through and through. It's a divide and concquer kind of game. Can't really fault kevin for going with Lydia. I really wanted Braden to stay but I can at least admit what he did was extremely stupid. Kevin doesn't have much game but those are the ones you want to use as pawns. Making enemies with them is stupid.

Marty
I have never seen Julie put a HG on the defensive as much as she did Braden. I wonder if all her interviews will be that tough.

rodh
Big Brother was the loser on this one...Braden has a unique perspective on life and I felt that he would give us some very entertaining episodes with his twist on the house...sorry to see him leave so early
ranjake
kind of random, julie. i don't remember amber/jessie being called out on their jew/jews-gays hate. or adam for his 'retards'. i hated what braden said-but i don't get the double standard. will she call out chima re: 'dirty white people'? FeloniousMonk
Marty, Joyami, smassadi, & rodh, I'm with you all... Braden was an odd duck but a lovable and funny odd-duck with a "different" perspective that I found quite entertaining. I don't buy the notion that he is or was a racist... He seemed to take people as they came to him, with all of theirs warts and wonders. Julie missed that and fell back to an all too simplistic PC position. I thought he handled her reasonably well and had a little fun with her approach and her questions, even making fun of himself a couple of times during the interview. He would have added some comic relief to an all too somber and humorless house. Most importantly, he struck me as a person happy with who he was and very naturally comfortable in his own skin. I llke his sort and can only wish Ronnie wasn't such a weasel. Monk
Marty
Monk, I just love when you post and always enjoy your perspectives. For me it is so easy to spot a racist. Words don't always make a biggot. My teenage nephews and all their friends (of all colors) use some of that language. I wish they wouldn't but they are not in any way shape or form racists. Anyhooooooooo I liked Braden's laid back humor. He left very gracefully. I wish he could have stayed longer to entertain us.

Chickendirt
Anyone catch Braden's post eviction interview with Julie? http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5167505n WOW!!!! That was crazy. Don't know why they don't air that at the end of the show. Even if they have to extend it. Braden looked a little off guard there. Looks like he was put through a meat grinder and spit out. Definitly not comfortable with that interview but I thought Julie was pretty cool about it. I think she wanted him to have a chance to clear the air a bit about what he said. I don't think Braden wanted to acknowledge it but you could tell he was embarassed. I think he said what he said cause he was really pissed and wanted to hit back with his meanest material. I think he wanted Lydia to feel what he felt. I don't know if he necasarily believes the stuff he said to them.

tboy85
Kevin is really gay that is why the bananna comment was funny I LMAO Braden could be BI no doubt but a guy that does gay porn is gay too in my book Then again he really seems to like Jordan's booty so he may have done the gig just for the money and is not really gay. What Chima said was more racist in that it was not targeted at one individual Racist attacks can be targeted at one individual, and they're done so with the intent to dehumanize by taking away said person's individuality and labeling him/or his actions with that of a larger group. That is what Braden did with the whole "your just a beaner comment", and "go back to Mexico". He saw Kevin was a person of color labeled him Mexican and used the word beaner to dehumanize him. Period. What Chima said was disgusting no argument about that, but so was Braden's. I too liked Braden and cringed when he made those comments, but he sealed the deal when in response to Lydia's don't talk about other cultures comment, he said "I don't f*cken care I'm white and American". It's refreshing that he recognizes white privilege, but it did show his racial animus. In this case comparing Chima's assyness to Braden's doesn't hold water. ImIn
I think Julie was po'd at Braden because he called her a whore or something like, while he was in the house. She made him feel uneasy...put him on the defense a bit...and justifiably so! I also think she expected him to apologize to her...but really...I doubt Braden even recalled saying that about her. He was squirming with the simplest of questions...and no focus or concentration at all. He's really just a dimwit imo. tbh...I won't miss him, but I did want him there for numbers sake to advance the underdogs. I'm not sure he's really a racist (I don't know him well enough to truly make that call)...but he did make racist remarks...and for that he got evicted and a bit of public humiliation (I hope). Granted, he's not the only one in the house that has made offensive comments this season so far...Chima, Jeff, Jordan, Casey and Lydia have too...and I'm sure it ain't over yet....but he's the one that payed the price, this time...and deserved to go. Mendes56
I think Braden didn't make the connection between what Chima said he said and what he actually did say. He wasn't calling the real Julie Chen a whore (and Chima knew that when she announced it on live TV) he was talking about Jesse during their lame Simon Says game.
