It's great when you need to pause a show (especially since I have a 2 year old.) Also, I set mine to auto record all of my fav shows. If I'm out and about and realize that it's time for one of my shows, I don't have to rush home or risk missing it. I just watch it when I get home. That's really nice. Also, I've recorded about 15 episodes of Sesame Street for my little one. It's great because I have a cartoon readily available when needed! No need to pop in a video or anything, just press play! Marty Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 I have 2 DVR's and I love it. I watch my programs on my own time. You can use your box to watch programs ON DEMAND also. You just go through the list and pick what you want to watch when you want to watch it. I love the pause feature for when the phone rings.
