I looked up Bob Guccione http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Guccione and it says "Guccione married his long-time companion, Kathy Keeton, a native of South Africa. He stood by her side during her battle with breast cancer until her death."... So the I looked up Kathy Keeton and it says that she passed in 1997 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathy_Keeton . So when was she with him? In all of her stories to the HG's she talks about the 'professional baseball player' that she was with for the past 7 years and that they recently broke up because of his addiction (to alcohol) and that he was "like 7 years younger, you know what I'm saying". So when did she have this long term relationship with him? She was born in 1962 and even when she was born he was with his wife... She did say that there were no wild parties like what the hgs had the other night because his (Bob's) kids were living there. She said it was not like the playboy mansion at all. ranjake Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 i don't know if it's true...i read it on the crazy board. i just remembered an old vanity fair piece about bob guccione and how bizarre it all seemed( his life, i mean)...kind of like a porn version of the sopranos! and i thought if sheila had been part of that, her book might be interesting after all. but i have no idea if it's true. i saw that too about adam. how does that work? do you do pr for only one organization if you're a pr person, or do you have various clients? what i mean is...was the autism foundation his only client? We have always let our Politically correct filters drop from time to time. Unlike Amber last year, what Adam said was never on the live feeds. CBS chose to unnecessarily run the comments, and now he has lost his job. No he shouldn't have said what he said, but come on. It's PC run amok. 7 years ago when we moved from Pa to NC, we went from the very PC north to the very unPC south. The second day we were here, my dh went shopping. At the grocery store the Knights of Columbus were selling tootsie rolls. On their vests it said "Help the Retards" on the Tootsie Roll itself it said "Thanks for helping the retards. Knights of Columbus" I will admit I found it shocking at the time, but after living here a while I realized they were not trying to be insulting, that is just the word they used.
