The Shining was my first Stephen King book - I kept hearing how scary it was and at first all I could think was this is not even a little scary - and then at some point I became terrified - stayed up and finished the book in one night because I was afraid to leave it unfinished before bed - needless to say, I did not sleep! Dead Zone and Firestarter were also 2 of my faves - I could not finish Cujo - even in the daylight....

Did not read The Shining but the movie was so scary.  Great reads !

There is the other twist to the battle back. Julie said the HG's could get a chance to stop their return to the house. Also, I read some where (maybe here?) that the HG's may get to decide if the battle should be mental or physical. So it may not be a sure thing that Cody will be back in the house.

I wonder if the battle back is the curse to the temptation. So technically if the person doesn't take the temptation then they could stop the battle back, but we know they're always going to take the temptation.

Oh, yeah. The curse! That could be it! There is no way anyone would pass up the temptation to stop an eviction of their choice.

Oh please, there's no way anyone in this house would pass up a temptation for an extra piece of bacon with breakfast lol they don't care about the curse at all.

Just like saying that there was a chance Paul wouldn't get into the house because maybe no one would take the 25k. Give me a break. They banked on the 25k being taken so they could put "their boy" in the house. I wonder how many of them hit that button to get the money but were beat out by Kevin.

Ever read "It"? That clown was the stuff of nightmares.  Might never sleep again lol.  I read all of his books.

The person who accepts the temptation doesn't suffer from the curse so of course they will take it.  I am hoping Cody makes it back in and targets Paul right away.  I have surprised myself with these thoughts because I didn't like Cody until he went up on the block.

This is how I feel. I could not stand Cody that first week, especially when he nominated Megan saying he just didn't like her. But the exact same people who were so offended by Cody's mean behavior last week are being absolutely horrible to him and Jessica this week. I'm not saying they didn't make their own bed, but my way of operating is not acting badly in response to someone else's behavior. The way the 'group' talks about him and Jessica is just as nasty as the things Cody and Jessica said except they whisper it behind peoples' backs. While I hated several things that Jessica and Cody both did and said, at least they were outright and up front with it. You knew where you stood. The whole group of Matt, Elena, Paul, Mark, Christmas, and Dominique are just as vicious and cruel but they put up a self-righteous facade like they are doing something good by ridding the house of Cody when in reality they are just like him. They lie, say mean things, laugh at and about other house guests, and say cruel things about people who are not part of their 'clique'.

sounds like BB in general...

People need to learn the difference between "reality tv" and reality. I can't stand Cody, I want him out of the house with a passion (not because he didn't hug xmas) if I saw him on the street I'd shake his hand and say "hey, I saw you on BB 19, hated you!" With no malice. Living in a fishbowl 24/7 is strange. I did it for a week in the late 90s (and I was able to leave the house and didn't have to evict people) and it was stressful. This world of everyone and their family being on social media has led to people thinking they're entitled to inject themselves into someone's life just because they're a fan.

I like how you would treat Cody were you to meet him.

Ever seen Human Centipede...now that is the ultimate in freak and disgust and boring all at the same time...kind of like BBAD

I am hoping Cody makes it to F3 or at least further than Paul or Christmas.  Wish there was some way Raven would go instead of Jess. But I'm not holding my breath on that one.

So I saw where Cody tells Jess not to get all crazy when she watches the show from the beginning.  Hmmmmm  I guess he will see that he lied to  her about his conversation with Matt. BUT like Matt said, it has no meaning at this point of the game. That was waaaayyyy early on.

Supposedly, it was "waaaayy early on" when he started banging her.  I'm sure once she gets back to escorting it won't matter what Cody said or did in the house.

If Cody were to punch Josh what would happen? I'm sure he would be kicked out of the house. Do you think he'd be arrested for assault as well? Could he use the defense that being unable to remove himself from the house he was pushed over the edge? This would be some crazy ass advertising/publicity for BB.

What happened to the guy on his own account said he can't be rattled?

I saw the clip with Matt & Cody.  Cody DID NOT EVER say he wanted to evict Jess.  Another blatant lie from that pathological liar, Satan. Psychopathic teeny tiny man.

I saw it too and he did tell Matt that they needed someone to take out the girls cause he would not be able to take Jess out himself.....

Cody needs Jess to pull his strings for a next move like the other hg  need Paul to pull theirs. The difference is Paul does it words and Jess does it with sex.

Agreed!!  I wonder if Jess is going to be accepted into Cody's family as open armed as Cody seems to think when she leaves the house?  thank God it is not MY son... She would get a quick dose of reality.

Yeah, we really don't have an opening for an escort in our family either.
