  1. This forum is for reporting what is happening on the Live Feeds only. All discussion of happenings in the house should be directed to the CBBUSA General Discussion forum. The HOW-TO guide for Live Feed Updaters. Please remember, these are just guidelines. We don't want to cramp your individual styles, but it helps the people reading your updates if everyone tries to follow a few basics. Try to include as many of the 5 W's as possible! Who? Ex. Joshua / Josh If Josh is speaking to Sharon, and they are the only ones in the conversation, you can just use the initials "J" and "S" after the first time. (But it wouldn't make sense to use "J" if Jacob, Joshuah, Jen and James were all present.) IMPORTANT: Please use the Houseguests' real names (or agreed-upon abbreviated forms). Do NOT use nicknames from the message board which carry biased connotations, such as "JanTran" instead of Janelle, for example. What? Ex. Alex and Neil are playing chess. (Sometimes what they're doing is not as important as what they're saying.) When? Ex. 6:30 BBT (Please use the time it is in the Big Brother house, not your own local time.) Where? Ex. Kitchen, Backyard, Boat Bedroom (We may have a few standard abbreviations for some rooms, such as KT, BY or BBR) Why? Only include this one if it is obvious from the action you have see. Try not to make guesses or judgements as to the motives behind behaviour otherwise. Leave that for the discussion forum. Ex. 1 Jen goes to tell James that Alex is voting for him, because she overheard Alex and Neil talking about it. (This is fine.) Ex. 2 Jen goes to tell James that Alex is voting for him, because she wants him to be anxious about the vote. (This is more speculative.) Personal comments within Live Feed Updates Morty and the whole MortysTV Community greatly appreciate the fact that Live Feed Updaters want to be of the Morty's TV team and that they are passionate about the game. But you can't provide as high a quality service you are have to pause your updating to go post an opinion in the Discussion Forums every time you wish to share, or vent.. So Morty has given his blessing for Live Feed Updaters to include some personal comments in their Live Feed Updates. Including a personal observation here and there is all well and good, but judgmental comments within the Live feed Updates that will unduly influence the fans who are reading them should to be avoided. It is OK to quote the Houseguests when they say or do something inappropriate, but make sure you are representing the HG and not saying things yourself that might be considered offensive. All we ask is that updaters who are including personal comments use brackets to make it clear that the comment is their own. [ This is an example -Jedi] We also understand how it's not always easy to keep gut reactions out of it, especially when you are watching these people day in and day out on the live feeds. Sooner or later you can't help forming some opinions about liking some and hating others. Sometimes, overboard comments can produce extreme reactions from the readers and those posts get reported to the moderators for no other reason than that they feel the updater is personally picking on their favorite Houseguest(s). Since the Live Feed Updates forum is NOT the General Discussion, please try to head off flame wars by trying to keep personal comments to more of a neutral vein. If you really feel strongly about a Houseguest or something they have done, you are encouraged to share your thoughts and comments in the CBBUSA General Discussion forum: Suggestions for some common Live Feed Update practices and posting standards are welcome as replies to this thread and can be discussed here.
  2. This forum is for posting updates on the happenings, events and conversations that you've seen on the Celebrity Big Brother USA live feeds. Please keep all live feed discussions in the "CBBUSA Live Feed" threads and screen caps and other neat pictures in the "Celebrity Big Brother USA Pictures" thread. If you forget which forum you're in and post here by mistake, don't worry your post will be deleted without prejudice. We all goof-up at times. You can't start new threads in this forum. There is one thread for each day in the Celebrity Big Brother USA house. After you post here, we may reprint your message (or parts of it) on the Celebrity Big Brother USA Coverage Page (mortystv.com/bb), and not credit you for submitting the information. Morty will try to list contributors at the end of each day’s report. Your input is vital to our success, and we really do appreciate your help. How You Can Help Watch the Celebrity Big Brother USA live feeds and post everything you see and hear! That's all there is too it. Well, try to be objective and not post your opinions. And only post what you see and hear, not what you think or read about elsewhere. Morty's TV doesn't deal in rumors. What's A Live Feed Update? An update is a post to the Morty's TV Fan Forums CBBUSA Live Feed thread for the day (each day has its own thread) with a description of what you see and hear. It could be a conversation like this: JD: Who are you going to vote out? DS: I’m going to vote with the majority. JD: So you want me out too? I thought we were friends! Or a narrative like this: JD is campaigning for votes. He asks DS who she is going to vote for and DS says she's voting with the majority. JD accuses her of voting him out despite their friendship. Someone else is posting, should I? YES! The more verification we have the better and everyone sees something someone else never noticed. They may be watching a different feed than you are. Morty collects all the updates and merges them together on the Celebrity Big Brother USA Coverage Page (mortystv.com/bb). Never assume someone else is covering what you're watching! When should I Post? Live Feed Updaters post whenever they want to and whenever they can. Think of yourself as a Live Feed Reporter - whenever there's something to report on the live feeds, post about it. We need as many updates as we can get. Never assume someone else is covering what you're watching! We Need Everyone All The Time! The Morty's TV Celebrity Big Brother USA Coverage Page is updated randomly during the day (no less than three times a day), but the Live Feed Forum and Pictures Forum is always linked from the Coverage Page. Fans looking for the latest minute-by-minute reports will link from the Coverage Page to the TV Fan Forums to see what you have written. Every single post counts, even when you say "there is nothing going on." We are informal around here, so feel free to post WHATEVER you see and hear on the Live Feeds! Be unbiased but be honest. Are you feeling the love yet? Can I Coordinate With Other LFUs? Yes, you can communicate with other LFUs in real time while you update. Let other LFUs know when you are going to start updating, for how long, and when you leave by clicking on the Chat Box in the CBBUSA Live Feed Forum. Type your message in the space marked "Your message here..." and then click the Return button to the right of the Smiley Face.

It is very important that you add AM or PM, ) Where? Ex. Kitchen, Backyard, Bedroom (We may have a few standard abbreviations for some rooms.) Why? Only include this one if it is obvious from the action you have seen. Try not to make guesses or judgments as to the motives behind behaviour otherwise. Leave that for the discussion forum. Ex. 2 Jen goes to tell James that Alex is voting for him because she wants him to be anxious about the vote. (This is more speculative.) Personal comments within Live Feed Updates Morty and the whole MortysTV team greatly appreciate the fact that live feed updaters want to be of service and that they can't provide as high a quality of that service if they are forced to pause their updating to go post their opinion in the discussion section every time they wish to share, or instead be forced to keep it to themselves. So Morty has given his blessing for live feed updaters to include some personal comments. (*I always loved Morty's personal comments, back when he was updating alone.*) Including a personal observation here and there is well and good, but judgmental comments within the Live feed Updates that will unduly influence the ones reading them are to be avoided. All we ask is that updaters who are including personal comments use brackets to make it clear that the comment is their own. [ This is an example ~Jedi] We also understand how it's not always easy to keep gut reactions out of it, especially when you are watching these people day in and day out on the live feeds. Sooner or later you can't help forming some opinions about liking some and hating others. Sometimes, overboard comments can produce such a reaction in the readers of those updates that posts get reported to the moderators for no other reason than that they feel the updater is personally picking on their favorite houseguest(s). Since the Live Feed Updates forum is NOT the discussion forum, it might help if things weren't too inflammatory. Therefore, let's try to keep personal comments to more of a neutral vein, and less extreme. If you really feel strongly about a houseguest or something they have done, you should probably share your comments about it in our Discussion forum. Suggestions for some common Live Feed Update practices and posting standards are welcome as replies to this thread and can be discussed here.
