  1. Some people take a conspiracy theory and run away with it.
  2. Of course there's a lot of speculation by viewers, including that Paul was given answers. One would think that Cody was the first HG to ever face adversity and unfairness on BB the way some here are trying to justify his bad game play. He hit a few roadblocks and he gave up. He decided to lay between Jessica's legs instead of trying to overcome obstacles. He used Jessica to make it to jury, to the detriment of her game. I suppose one could consider that good game play.....in a scumbag sort of way.
  3. It WAS massively unfair.....to everyone but Paul. But he did nothing to try to overcome the dilemma he found himself in. He went off and sulked with Jessica. That's the same as giving up. One would think a soldier would do better than that. He decided he hated everyone, instead of trying to work with people. Someone who can't even get along with their own family and has little to no friends won't do good in a scenario like BB. He wasted a spot.
  4. I've never watched Survivor. Does being an antisocial jerk work well in that reality show? Or do you need to be a team player?
  5. Someone (sorry, I forget who), said that Cody applied for a spot on an earlier season. That would mean that he should have been at least a little familiar with the concept and game-play on BB. Most HGs know better than to fight too hard for that first HOH. They don't want to get blood on their hands right out the gate. Cody didn't have a clue. He got farther than he should have, and ruined Jessica's game in the process (with her permission, of course). But, hey, I've got no problem with him getting voted AFP. If he garnered enough fans, for whatever reason, he deserves it. I enjoy watching that part of finale night. The only HGs happy for the winner of AFP are the one who wins it and the F2. Everyone else is resentful, and their faces show it because they ALL think they're awesome. But they're not.
  6. They were pathetically EASY questions. I got them all right too, and nobody told me the answers ahead of time.
  7. He wasn't cut out for the BB house. That's the bottom line. It was his choice to play, and by doing so he put himself out there for criticism, just like every other HG. It's funny that the same people who are complaining about criticism about Cody have no problem saying vile things about other HGs. Megan served. Cody wasn't respectful toward her.
  8. I respect the flag and the nation, and I respect the SERVICE. The sad truth, though, is that just because someone has served our country does not mean that they are an all-around great person. I live not far from Fort Carson Army Base and we OFTEN hear of servicemen involved in crimes. Some of them are thieves, some of them are rapists, some of the are murderers and some of them are pedophiles. Some of them beat their wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc. Some of them are assh*les. Most aren't, but some are. You're entitled to your opinion about Cody, and if you want to overlook his faults just because he served in the military, go right ahead. I'm not giving someone a pass for bad behavior just because they're a veteran. If that makes you upset, it's your problem. Go into your rage (your word, not mine). I won't lose any sleep over it. I didn't like Cody because he was a jerk and a crappy player on BB and wasted a spot on the show that someone who actually wanted to play the game, instead of attending summer sex camp, could have had.
  9. I don't think there was a show scheduled for tonight. There's just the two hour finale on Wednesday.
  10. I hope you're joking. We're not all going to like the same HGs.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised to see Raven and her family get a program on TLC, or some such network. There seems to be an audience for freak shows like that.
  12. Was it? Do you really believe that it wasn't set up for Paul to win that Pendant of Protection? Viewers didn't even have a chance to get to know the rest of the HGs, so naturally Paul stood to get the most votes because viewers were already familiar with him. And how do you account for the extreme benefit to the HG that the first temptation offered? None of the subsequent temptations came close to that first one as far as power goes. It was set up by production for Paul to "win" it, and if you don't believe that, I've got a lovely chalet at a ski resort in Death Valley to offer you at a very good price.
  13. I just don't see that as a long-lasting relationship. She's about 10 years older than him (though woefully immature) and I just really don't think Paul's family would approve.
  14. No. The winner of the second part of this HOH comp faces off against Paul and the winner of that comp is HOH and chooses who to take to F2. Clarifying, there are three parts to the final HOH competition.
  15. I don't think anything on the site ever closes. In the BB18 archives here, you can still post. I just checked. Usually people just fade away after the season ends, but it appears that the board is open for use.
  16. Yeah, it's probably as fair as Paul getting chosen to win the first temptation. I see no point in putting forth the effort to vote.
  17. So that Deadskull site is his so-called clothing line? Paul referring to that as a clothing line is as ridiculous as Josh referring to his ebay (or whatever) selling as "owning his own business". When I hear someone say "clothing line", I assume it's a line of clothing that actually involves a clothing designer. I didn't realize an on-line t-shirt shop qualified. I guess I'm old school, but I'm just not a fan of clothing that has vulgar language on it. I remember when my kids were first starting to read. They were so excited about it that they read everything they saw....signs, billboards, t-shirts, etc. I don't think wearing cuss words was really a thing at that time, but I can imagine how it is for parents of young kids now to have to explain some of those words.
  18. I can relate to what your mother went through. I was widowed with four minor children. I was already in the work force so that helped, but i worked my butt off to raise my kids before and after my husband died. As far as Kevin's situation goes, I just think there's got to be more to the story. He likes to talk, but never talked about actually ever having a job. I just don't think he's much of a go-getter. I think he decided he was eye candy at some point and never got past that.
  19. Well, the kids should be repaying their own school loans, IMO. I also think it was foolish to use his house to pay for lawyers for his criminal father. I told my kids when they were young, "If you get yourself into trouble, you get yourself out of trouble." I feel that way about anyone in my life. The only reason I could see that as justifiable is if Kevin's father actually paid for Kevin's house. That's a possibility.
  20. As you should. And I'm voting for nobody because I don't like any of them. I guess if I had to choose, I'd choose Mark. I just think he's probably a nice guy. But he doesn't stand a chance, so I won't bother voting for him.
  21. Same here. I don't even care who wins, but I think I'd get some satisfaction out of seeing how Christmas acts if she's not F2,
