  1. My daddy can beat up your daddy. Geez
  2. What a fascinating conversation you all are having here.
  3. I understand that I just want to know how to get around the 1 IP address issue. And I am not running those programs -- dont trust them at all.
  4. Yes but voting off if done incorrectly doesnt help. I hope the last poster will come back and explain what he just posted
  5. color me dumb but I dont understand what you are saying. Are you saying that voting through aol doesnt count?
  6. Where to even begin. How can the rest of the game become piling on maggie if Kaysar returns when even with Kaysar their are 5 players on team crappy, 4 on team kaysar and a wild card in james? Secondly, Kaysar didnt think he had good game play by winning hoh. He thought he showed good gameplay by shining a light on the fact that the strongest player in the house at the time (Eric) had agreed to multiple deals (the final 4 male alliance, the eric/james/beau/Ivette final 4 alliance, and his partnership with Maggie) which were inconsistent with each other. By putting up the two people closest to eric he splintered the alliance and forced eric to show cards he otherwise wouldnt have had to play. Kaysar should be proud of that move, it was the smartest in the game so far even if it did have an emotional/revenge element to it. there is nothing that says a strategic move cant also be one that satisfies you emotionally. Fianlly, I dont think Kaysar was surprised at all that he was put up, what he said was that he didnt think that was Maggie's best move from a strategy standpoint and he was right. Maggie's target has been James for 3 weeks now and for 3 weeks she has FAILED. Moreover, James has said first crack he gets he is going after Maggie on multiple occassions. Had she put up James and Sarah last week then they couldnt have played veto for each other and at least one pair would have been split up. Getting out kaysar, who is playing without a partner was stupid, especially considering the fact that Maggie is also without a partner on a team with 2 other SETS OF PARTNERS. And the irony is that had james or sarah been voted out last week, I think the odds of Crappy coming back would have been vastly improved as James is almost as unpopular as the King O' Crap.
  7. So then let me get this straight because I dont want to misunderstand you, you would agree that Ivette and Aprils terminology is mean-spirited and would not be words you would use to describe kaysar?
  8. Shockalot you really dont see that calling someone from Iraq "Saddam" is mean spirited, especially given that Kaysar had to flee his own home because of the brutality Saddam's regime inflicted on the nation's people. Like I said, i dont have any problem with wacky iraqi and I can see where the brown thing could be in the gray area a bit, but sand n&&&&& and Saddam clearly cross the line between making fun and being biggoted. Its interesting that you put out an entire list of names for Kaysar running from the benign to the racist and whenever you get challenged by someone else on the board, you refute the challenge with the least offensive names on your list -- lets give you wacky and brown and have you respond to sandnigger and saddam.
  9. Well as I said before the cbs site -- which is where most of the voting is taking place has erics popularity at 29% and Kaysars in the 80s. I would be shocked if Kaysar didnt win this America's Choice competition.
  10. I was going to leave the repeat program running, but no matter what I did, I couldnt get the page open in the right spot to be certain that it was in fact recording votes for Kaysar. Without that, I was too afraid that it was voting for Napolean CRAP-a-lot so I didnt want to try it. Could you see the page? Are we 100% certain that any of these are definately for Kaysar? If we have it visually confirmed then I will run one tonight.
  11. Just my 2 cents but I think Eric opened himself up to more extreme name calling because he is the one that started with calling Michael a sexual predator. If someone were going to call me a name, I would much rather it be wacky iraqi or midget than a sexual predator. Once Eric dishes it out, he has to expect to get it back. With Kaysar its the exact opposite. When janelle, James, Michael and Sarah started in with the name calling he told them to stop so I guess on some level I think he earns himself the right to be subjected to a little less of that. As for what is rascist, I too am okay with Wacky Iraqi, but the brown bomber, saddam and sandnigger are offensive (I would put that in a league with sexual predator because it implies that all Iraqis are terrorists)-- and I would say much more offensive than midget.
  12. Erics favorable rating at the cbs site is 29% compared to kaysar's which is in the 80's. I cant see anyone but Kaysar coming back in through those doors. And given the dumbass move Howie just made by nominating Sarah and james instead of April and Maggie, they are going to need kaysar back to have a chance in the game
  13. her last line in the interview was the best -- when asked about his blonde do, aniston said, Billy Idol called and wants his look back. HAH Angeling and Brad are pigs.
  14. WOW -- I was hoping eric would see how he was preceived by coming to the boards, but after that interview (particularly part 2 callers) he should have a clear picture. how did he pass the psych test? who made him the moral compass? he really believes his own shit! Marcellas pulled no punches. I cant wait til the town hall, after eric has really digested everything and has gone back to the firehouse. Should be interesting.
  15. Marcellas -- I am disappointed you didnt continue our convo. about going for it vs. flying under the radar. A lot of us here are monday morning quarterbacks -- we can speculate as to what we WOULD do if we were in the house or what the houseguests SHOULD do but we havent lived it. I hope you stick to those types of questions (what each player should, could, or might have done) and ignore the rest of the posts. Why justify your decision to hang up on a caller? Its your show and as long as Gretchen and CBS is happy who the hell is anyone else to second guess you? If they think they can do it better let them go out and get their own show. Ultimately, you have been in the public eye for awhile. Most of us really like you, those that dont you wont convert, so why waste your valuable time trying to rationalize to people who will only hear what they want to hear. Just talk BB and ignore the snipes. Just my two cents and thank you for coming here and sharing.
  16. I kinda hafta go with bbbiggestfan here. I am baffled -- I used to belong to a group where we would have board meetings quarterly and many of the guys in the group didnt even want to share rooms more than 3 -- 2 beds and a cot -- to avoid sleeping in the same bed. I can honestly say in my almost 38 years on this planet I dont know one straight guy that would kiss another man on the lips like that. (ok except for actors getting paid in a movie but this isnt the same thing)
  17. Oh I want to be ill. Not even divorced yet and he is already half of "mommy and daddy". Maybe he is transgendered and his former biological clock is ticking.
  18. True but winning HOH one week takes you out of contention the following week. In your opinion, do most players play week to week? And if so, do you think that works? I sometimes feel that many of the players dont give enough thought to the MIDDLE of the game -- they have their week to week ideas and their final four end game in mind. Kind of reminds me (not to go back to gnomes) but the South Park episode where the gnomes want to make money by stealing underpants. Step one is steal underpants. Step 3 is make lots of money. But when asked what step 2 is they are completely baffled. As for Danielle, IMHO not taking you to final 3 was a huge factor in her not winning, so as bad as it was, at least she paid the piper for her choice. That has to make you feel a little better. And while not using the veto may not have been a good game move, it showed what kind of person you are and I think that you big heart is why you have so many fans!
  19. Marcellas -- Love you, love the show. Hope you keep posting here all season long. And if anyone gives you grief, just sic one of those BB garden gnomes on them!! The question I would love to see asked of Eric is what he thinks his biggest mistake was during the game? There were so many of them.... Would also love to here YOUR take on this -- seems to me that if you arent going to make a game move, something that really shakes things up (like kaysar did this week) that you should consider not going for HOH. At the start of week 2 Kasar, Michael and Janelle were fairly isolated. The odds were good that someone in his alliance would have won HOH and put up Michael and Janelle. He could have accomplished his goal without getting his hands dirty and remained eligible for hoh in week 3. What are your thoughts on strategicly dumping certain competitions?
  20. Just because they have different view points on the war on terrorism doesnt mean that they cant be friends in the real world. Eric and Kaysar had similiar views and Kaysar is kicking Eric's sorry self out of the house. So I guess to be a friend you have to agree on everything? Or are you making the point that James is not a trustworthy person in general because he is a Republican? Not sure what you are getting at.
  21. maybe its something he caught from angelina  :rofl :rofl
  22. i am sure half her reason for this new "relationship" (if that is what it is) is revenge -- but oh how sweet it is. Besides, I would take vince vaughn over brad pitt any day!! YOU GO GIRL!!! YEAH JENNIFER!!!
  23. NEW YORK - After months of speculation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have tied the knot - and she's pregnant. Representatives for both actors confirmed the marriage to The Associated Press on Thursday. Their publicists, Ken Sunshine and Nicole King, also confirmed that Garner is pregnant with her first child. Sunshine and King would not give any other details. The confirmation came after Us Weekly reported that Affleck, 32, and Garner, 33, were wed Wednesday at the Parrot Cay resort in the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos. The National Enquirer also released photos it claimed showed Garner arriving on the islands with her "Alias" co-star Victor Garber. In stark contrast to Affleck's much publicized relationship with Jennifer Lopez, he and Garner have been tightlipped about their romance. Aside from appearing at a Boston Red Sox game last fall, they have stayed out of the public eye. Reports in April about an engagement were never confirmed. In May, E! News reported that Garner was pregnant and the baby was due in November, but neither star confirmed that report. This is first marriage for Affleck and the second for Garner, who divorced actor Scott Foley in March 2004 after 3 1/2 years of marriage. Affleck and Lopez called off their September 2003 wedding and broke off their engagement in January 2004. Lopez married singer Marc Anthony later that year. Affleck co-starred with Garner in 2003's "Daredevil," her first big movie role, but they didn't begin dating until last year. "He's really a gentleman," Garner told AP Radio after they shot the action thriller. "And he's not afraid to laugh at himself or you. And I knew, I just had an instinct that he would take care of me in my first step out there, and he did." Said Affleck of Garner: "I don't think she thinks that she is as drop-dead gorgeous as she is, and I think that is what gives her this incredibly appealing quality." Garner has been filming the drama "Catch and Release" in Vancouver, Canada. Affleck will star as George Reeves, television's Superman, in the upcoming movie "Truth, Justice, and the American Way."
  24. Am I the only one who thinks he is a pig.......So much for til death do you part! People Magazine Scores Pitt, Jolie Photos By DERRIK J. LANG, Associated Press Writer Thu Jun 30, 8:47 PM This image made available June 30, 2005 by People ... NEW YORK - After months of avoiding being photographed together, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear in new photos published in People magazine. In the six pictures featured in the July 11 issue, Jolie stands in a field near her Buckinghamshire, England, estate while a shirtless and bleached-blond Pitt rides a dirt bike with her safety helmet-clad son Maddox. Other photos show Pitt, Jolie and 3-year-old Maddox at Luton Airport outside London. Larry Hackett, People's deputy managing editor, won't disclose how much the magazine paid for the photos, obtained from a photographer in Britain. But he told The Associated Press Thursday that the price tag was under $1 million and "there was no bidding war" with competitors such as Us Weekly and Star magazines. "I think they're better photos than what have been out there of this couple," said Hackett. "They represent news about this relationship. For better or worse, people are interested in this." For months, rumors have been circulating about the extent of Pitt and Jolie's off-screen relationship. In April, photos published by Us Weekly of the couple with Maddox on a beach in Africa fueled speculation about a possible romance, though Pitt and Jolie weren't shown being affectionate with each other. Pitt and his wife, Jennifer Aniston, announced their separation in January, and Aniston filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. While promoting their new film, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," Pitt and Jolie stayed away from each other during red carpet appearances, although they do appear as a dysfunctional 1963-era couple in an artsy W magazine photo spread for the July issue. "She's a 30-year-old woman with a son," said Hackett. "He's a 41-year-old man who's just left a four-year marriage and is in the midst of a divorce. You know, you don't jump into these things, check it out, then split. I think they're being grown-ups. They're trying to figure out what's next."
