Please keep all discussions in the "Big Brother Discussion Forum" and screen caps and other neat pictures in the "Pictures Forum." If you forget which forum you're in and post here by mistake, don't worry your post will be deleted without prejudice, we all goof-up at times.
You can't start new threads in this forum. There is one thread for each day in the Big Brother house.
After you post here, we may reprint your message (or parts of it) on the main Big Brother page, and not credit you for submitting the information. It's not that we don't want people to know you helped, but it’s just that when we tried it, having all the credits there annoyed people. We will list contributors at the end of each day’s report. Your input is vital to our success, and we really do appreciate your help. We also do give credit to the other sites that send us cool stuff (OK, just Jokers, BigBrotherUpdates.com, Reality BBQ, and the ones that like us).

Can't type fast and you want to help?
Tape it!
Well, it’s not really tape, but it’s really easy to record the audio from the live feeds and save it to your hard drive. You probably already have the recorder software on your computer, look in the “Accessories” folder of your “Programs” You may need to experiment a little before you get it to record from Real Player, in most cases you need the input of the recorder needs to be the “wav out” of your computer.
If for some reason you don’t have sound recording software or if your software has some sort of time limitation, you might want to try Total Recorder from High Criteria, at http://www.highcriteria.com/productfr_tr.htm This is a shareware program that costs $11.95 to buy, but you can try for free. There’s also a professional version for $25. If you find a good free recorder, please let Morty know by PM, and I’ll list it here.
Once you have the conversation recorded you can play it back and stop it as much as you need to write it out. And don’t forget, if you get an exciting clip, you can save the file as an MP3 and send it to jem@mortystv.com
Try to keep your clips under 10 minutes and always name the clip using the time and date you captured it, like: july_7_10_30PM_bbt.mp3 (no spaces in the name). You can also include F1, F2, F3, or F4 in the file name to designate the feed you recorded it from.
Every year I must remind everyone that we don’t need to post every mundane conversation that takes place. Most of what is shown on the feeds is dull! If you look at my average daily update, I describe about an hour of activity. The other 95 hours (4 feeds times 24 hours = 96 hours) were not worth mentioning. Of course if you get a good emotional breakdown, or they start mating, the coverage can get lengthy.
