  1. I was really confused, because Sarah didn't get any gifts? April got a few...I thought that itself was really strange....
  2. Thanks guys. I would like to send that in letter form to CBS. But, I don't have an email addy. Can anyone help with that? I will send it if I know who to send it to. Orion, this is not an attitude that I think anyone should have to put up with. These are racist comments drenched with hatred. Why should people have to listen to this kind of talk just because they want to get the live feeds because of their love of BB? What she is saying is innexcusable (sp?). I personally don't have live feeds, but if I did, I would feel like I couldn't leave the feeds' volume on for fear of my kids just hearing that kind of talk. Swear words and maybe a flash of nudity every now and then on the feeds are one thing, but hateful, trashy, biggoted, racist comments aimed at a whole race are something that I would never want my kids to even hear, and I don't want to hear them either. If someone can be thrown off the show for just throwing a chair in the middle of a room, where no one else is, then why can't a person like Ivette who verbally demeans a whole race on a continual basis be kicked off. You're right, there is a stopping point when it comes to what is allowed and not allowed to be said on the feeds, and I think that point should be outright racism such as Ivettes. If it was a one-time comment that she said out of anger at that moment without thinking, that's one thing. But to be allowed to say it over and over and over again, just to be ugly, is totally different.
  3. It's NOT choice it's the law. You need to read up on the rules and regulations of the FCC. Big Brother is a television show and is governed by the FCC. Didn't you see that in my previous post? It has NOTHING to do with the US Constitution, it has to do with the FCC. I don't know how to make that any clearer to you. FCC. HBO and other pay for cable stations must be breaking the law daily then because the Nword is on those channels all the time. You better go report them. Pay cable is not subject to the same FCC regulations. "Free" cable is. Neither is Pay internet! *sigh* Ok, I told myself in the middle of this thread that I was not going to respond, but I can't help myself. I am exercising my "free speech." sara-is-hot, You are right. The internet is not censored. And maybe it shouldn't be. You are right about that. HOWEVER, Big Brother live feeds are sponsored and hosted by a local television station, CBS. I will guarantee you now that CBS would not want to endorse an internet website devoted to KKK demonstrations or any other extremist nutjob group that is similar to the KKK. There would be an uproar of boycotters and picketers, and people will stop watching that network. I promise you that. And obviously, CBS and Big Brother DOES have to abide by certain standards, even online, otherwise, why would they have to go to FISH every time the HG sing, or at certain other times for things they are not allowed to show the viewing public, even online? So, yes, CBS is allowed to show that kind of stuff on the internet, the question is, do they want to? By allowing her to say those things in the name of CBS' Big Brother could give people the impression that that kind of talk is acceptable. Do they want to risk losing viewers because they are giving Ivette an outlet for her hate talk? I don't think so. But then again, maybe they do? See, that is the kind of thing people could start thinking about. And I think CBS should start realizing this. So, no, the internet shouldn't be censored, but it would be very simple to kick Ivette off the show because of her hate, in order to not risk their reputation with certain viewers. So, the question is not can they air it, the question is should they. It is not as if Ivette has her own website and spews her words of hate all over it. She is taking advantage of an outlet provided and condoned by CBS and Big Brother, as long as they allow her to do it. This is a game show that we have the priviledge of watching off-air, not her personal website for making us listen to her hate filled racist comments. And that is exactly what she is turning it into. As far as your argument about how Kaysar calls her a "ghetto" girl, um, she calls herself that all the time!!!! She is actually very proud of it! So, how is that even remotely close to the things she is saying about Kaysar? Everything she touches becomes "ghetto." Such as "ghetto" toast, "ghetto" slide, "getto" this, and "ghetto" that. Basically, she is calling Kaysar, and every other middle-easterner a murderer. She is not referring to where he lives, like he is with her. Oh yeah, if Kaysar was going around himself and calling himself a terrorist bomber, what do you think would happen, hmmm? That right there proves the difference in the name-calling. The name calling that she uses refers to every middle eastern, not just Kaysar. What Kaysar calls her may be mean, but what she says is racist. There is a HUGE difference about where the term is coming from. If Kaysar was calling Ivette derogatory names like (something I will not even repeat)... that referred to her being Latin, and thus being demeaning to everyone of Latino nationality, I can guarantee there would be an approar of complaints, even from me. Or if him or anyone else was CONSTANTLY calling Beau the N word, thus referring to every african-american as the same, he would be GONE. I know this for a fact. Also it is important to point out the fact that we are at war with terrorists who make it their personal mission to murder innocent americans. So for Ivette to stand there in this time and say that Kaysar is one of "those" people makes her nothing but a disgusting human being. Kaysar, although born in Iraq, is an American citizen who just wants to play a game, and does not deserve that kind of treatment in any way, shape or form. Ivette is a disgrace to all americans and american women in my opinion. If I were a CBS executive, I would be mortified at the things Ivette was saying about Kaysar. Her a$$ would be out that door so fast, she would'nt get a chance to say a word (and for her, that is pretty impossible!) She is a biggoted, racist, hypocritical lowlife. All her talk about how big her heart is and how she is just so full of morals, and sh*t like that. And as long as CBS, Big Brother, allows her to do it with no fear of consequence, then they are condoning her actions. Wow, that was long.....
  4. BigBro, Good luck with that one! Last year was my first season of watching BB, and this was the first site I found and I loved it! I did the same thing you did, and it didn't work. I didn't want to know who won the comps either. There was no way to look at these boards, and not know who won POV, etc. So, I quit the boards all together for the whole last season, about three weeks into the season. This year, I decided to try the boards again. And honestly, this season is so much more fun! I love to be in suspense with everyone here at the same time. It is so much more enjoyable than last year! Yes, it may ruin the "T.V." surprise, but you still have the online surprise, which I have determined is so much more fun. Just some food for thought!
  5. They need to get rid of Eric, not because of his physical threat, but because of the power he has over everybody. Everyone, well, not everyone now, but still a lot of people, worships and adores Eric. See, with Eric gone, the "sheep" will be scattered. They literally will not know what to do for themselves. They can't plan to save their lives, and all they know how to do is be Erics little minions and do everything he tells them to, including spying, tattling, etc. This is where Kaysar is really being strategic. Instead of getting ONE strong player out, he is getting out a threat, and the other 5, because they are going to be lost without him. This will be a huge advantage to Kaysar, and will level the playing field for everyone in the house. Eric is being voted out because he has WAY too much influence on these people. Eric is the "head" of a body composed of arms and legs (aka, Maggie, Beau, Ivette, Jenn, April), and the body will be useless without the head(Eric). That is why he needs to go. With that said, yes, I do believe that James is stronger and even smarter than Eric, and maybe even a bigger threat one on one. But, again, he is just one man, when Eric equals out to be 6. Kaysar will be killing 6 birds with one stone, so to speak, which I think is brilliant.
  6. Yeah, but I just don't remember all of the evicted hgs last year getting greetings after they were evicted. Maybe I'm wrong? Who greeted Holly? (just one example, I can't think of the others off hand, my mind is too full of this year's houseguests!)
  7. Nope! Welcome to the phenom that is BIG BROTHER! BTW, last season was my first! And I remember asking that same question. lol
  8. Ok, I just went and watched the competition again to see what's what. First of all, what Kaysar was talking about when he was saying something about ..."I could see from front", was (and I listened very intently with the volume on full blast), During the first HOH, at first I was at the front (of the surfboard) and then at the end of the game I was in the back, so I could see how many there(coconuts) were. He was telling them how he knew there were so many. And yes, Kaysar and Maggie had exactly 3 windows between them, so there was no way he could have seen Maggie's answers anyways. Also, on the first question, Julie did start to say the answer before Kaysar and Sarah flipped their circle, however, all she got out of her mouth was the clear.... and then "flip!" So, they did answer before she told them the answer. Here were the numbers everyone had written down: James: 85 or 95 (Can't see the first number really well, he wrote it very, very light...) Kazar: 100 Janelle: 36 Maggie: 90-something. It looks like 97, but the 7 is mostly outside of my T.V. screen frame. Now, as far as the object of the game went, I was wrong. Last season they did a competition similar to this one, and the answers were based on answers that the houseguests had already given ahead of time. This was not so on this one however. MM, you were right. Whoever was with the majority moved on, and the least were booted. However, Julie still messed up when she said that the majority voted for the clothes answer. So, she still goofed.
  9. Nope, these Q&As were based on questions that the houseguests had been asked before the competition. That is why Julie said, "The correct answer is ....the clothes." Which was wrong. Besides, they all answered red, so even if it was the way you said it was, she still would have said the right answer was the dishes, not the clothes. You know what I mean?
  10. No, MM, what I meant was, Julie said the correct answer was blue, basically, and all the houseguests had answered with red.
  11. Yeah, that's what I figured too....
  12. I just watched last night's episode again, (for the third time! ), and when I was watching the HOH competition, I noticed a screw up. When they were at the question about what frustrated the majority of the houseguests most, hg who didn't do their laundry, or hg that didn't do dishes, everyone answered with red. Red represented the dishes, blue represented the clothes. Julie said, "The answer is, 'hg who don't do their laundry' you are all correct." So, were they all wrong? Or did Julie mess up with the wrong answer? If you have the show recorded, watch it and see for yourselves! I rewound it four times and watched that same part just to make sure I saw it right. Even my 10 year old son saw it when he watched it with me. Actually, he was the one that pointed it out! He said, "Um, didn't they all get it wrong?" Too funny
  13. Ok, guys, here is my honest opinion about whether or not evicted houseguests are returning.... I don't think they are. This is why. I actually think that what Julie said the night that Ashlea left proved otherwise. Because when Janelle stated, "Maybe I'll get to come back to the house?", Julie said "N...Well, you never know! It's the summer of secrets and anything can happen!" If any of you have it on tape, or whatever, listen to that part again. She was about to say no, and then caught herself in time to say "you never know". You can definately hear it if you listen/watch it. So, I think she screwed up personally, which proves to me that they aren't coming back. Just my opinion. Believe me, I wish Michael could come back too, but I just don't think it's going to happen. P.S. I didn't record that episode, but I remember when Julie stuttered. Let me know if someone listens and hears the same thing I thought I heard. Who knows? Maybe I am wrong! Thanks!
  14. Oh, my gosh. WTF? I decided to watch last night's episode of BB again. (I have it on my TiVo) Eric really is more clueless than I thought. When Julie asked him about what made him so upset about what Michael said about his family, and he said that he heard that Michael had said something about his mother and father abandoning him, and that is why he moved from Boston to L.V. And that is why he got so mad at Michael. That is not even what Rachael told him! I swear this putz makes things up as he goes.
