Helen - DE/Week 7

Recommended Posts

Yeah, Helen has a serious problem about anyone forming alliances that does not involve her. She needs to get

over herself. I would really like it if Andy ended up backdooring her. She seriously needs to go.

so I haven't seen any mention of this here at Morty's but did see it elsewhere and curious. Some are saying Helen took a hot shower this morning. If she is a have not isn't she supposed to take a cold shower? Maybe they are mistaken or maybe it is just food this week?

Not saying she did this just asking if anyone else noticed? Which side is hot and which side is cold? She was in the shower on the right.

Then again... LOOK at who she's manipulating.

Let's take intelligence out of the equation. These people are not devoid of emotions and you would think that someone would get mad or hurt at her for being ring leader, yet they still all follow her lead. I still think it's pretty amazing that she can openly dictate the game and still have most on her side.

Pushing Andy to dump one of the McManda's this week is the only smart thing anyone has said all day......can't believe Andy or Aaryn think they will have a chance against the duo......McCrae will win the comps at the end and he and the porno queen will be F2. And, Andy will be looking back saying Oh gee......I guess Helen was right.

Considering he just watched his buddy walk out the door with every vote against him he should be thinking about how quickly his alliance (was this the goof troop?) took the opportunity to cut Judd right out of the alliance. Does he really think they won't do the same thing to him?

What no one is realizing is that all bets are off the table now. It's come down to picking off eachother one by one, there's no other way to do it. Unless, they are living under a rock, they all know that at this point someone is going to rally to get them out of the house.

Helen and Will well I am in the minority here because I could not stand Dr. Will. I did not watch his first season but I did watch all-stars. Mike Boogie and Will actually made my skin crawl and the fake showmance thing was digusting.

You do know that's pretty much the "definition" of a showmance right? In the early days of BB, the term was coined for using someone on the show of romantic interest to advance your game. It will last for the majority of the game, but they can be cut off at any point if their game will be improved by making the move. It's pretty much exactly what they did, and no one has done it better, imo.

Helen became one of my favorites rather quickly. She showed leadership without being over demanding or critical . She seems to have forgotten several simple rules though. Couples, especially power couples, must be broken up and floaters do exactly that. She looks to Andy for advice on any real move in the game and he shoots it down anytime it involves Amanda. Hard to understand why she has'nt figured this out yet and I feel will be her downfall.

So I read that Helen FINALLY figured out that Andy has more loyalty to McCranda than to her, so she told Elissa last night. Too late, imo. How she couldn't figure that one out sooner is beyond me. They have no one they could flip or trust at this point. Everyone will run straight to Amanda the Queen and rat them out in order to keep her majesty's fury off them.

Every word that comes out of Andy's mouth is a pat on the back for himself regarding how he's playing the game. He thinks he's already got it won (and he might), being completely invincible. Helen and the rest have underestimated and ignored Andy for the most part, leaving them ignorant/blinded to his tactics. I think most all of them are so arrogant and self-absorbed, being convinced that their own gameplay is above all others, they can't see that others are on equal or better footing as they. (Jessie and Elissa being the exception but no one bothers to listen to them.)

After listening to Helen sit there on a bed with Andy and throw a pity party for GM I almost vomited.

She's sitting there lamenting the fact that GM is an uneducated, illiterate bulimic, tanorexic who has no degree and lives in her mothers basement. WTF.

When did BB guests start feeling sorry for their opponents? Is this women delusional, power-drunk, insane or just auditioning for a soap-opera?

Hopefully she will be back-stabbed by Andy and evicted with Aryans help, that would be epic and so beautiful.

Actually, what helen is in real life is a woman who devoted a lot of personal time and effort helping to elect and then re-elect some people via a couple of democratic organizations. I suspect that she is just concerned and probably pretty nice outside the house. Her friends - who are also nice people - certainly do think so.

While I dislike that Helen is one of the people who have taken control of the house for all these weeks only because I hate the whole house vote, I think she has been playing the game hard. I wanted to see her on the block for only one reason. I wanted her ego to be deflated a little. But at this point, she might get voted out so I don't want her to go up now. Don't want her to go to jury since I think she is one of the few people who should be F3.

Helen needs to be evicted.

It would be so poetic if Amanda, Spencer, Aaryan, and GM all formed an evict-Helen-alliance since they were the ones that used to mock her ethnicity before Production told them to ease up due to the controversy.

...Helen's betrayal and eviction would be an awesome addition to BB15 and further catapulted this season into the greatest BB season ever made now past and future.

When did production tell them to ease up due to the controversy? Who from production told them?

When did production tell them to ease up due to the controversy? Who from production told them?

They said over the loudspeaker thingy that they were forbiddin to use slurs which kinda possed me off because they don't forbidd them from using profanity.

When Amanda gave Arayn the little phony lecture/sermon about how people might view her because of her behavior it seemed so scripted and rehearsed that it was obvious it came from production while Amanda was in DR.

Lets not be naive, we all know that certain elements of the show are influenced by production and former BB guests have bucked their confidentiality clauses and exposed certain "rigged" elements of BB......if the Elissa MVP noms weren't the worst case of BS in all of reality TV!

Yeah Helen is a 42 year old mom who works in politics that's inside a house filled with unemployed beauty-queens, yoga-instructors and house-sellers. Why not put a rocket-scientist in a 6th-grade science class and see who wins the comp for best science project.

For all Helen's so-called master manipulation she made one critical blunder and it's going to come back and haunt her. Sure they still have the targets of Spencer & Jessie but once they are gone Amanda and Aryan will eat Helen alive.

I wish I knew when Helen was lying (yeah, I know when her mouth is moving). But, I really want to know if she is even partially sincere about the sunshine she is blowing up Aaryn's tail. She just told Aaryn that she now sees why Aaryn and Gina Marie reacted to Candice the way they did.

I would say it is a desperation move, Annamrie. From here on out, we are liable to hear anything from anybody. RIght now, helen needs votes. It will be interesting.

I've always suspected Helen shared some of the same racist sentiments as Aaryn and GinaMarie. So that comment to Aaryn

doesn't surprise me at all.

Helen can attempt to blow smoke up Aryans little butt all she wants and she can try to pander to Aryans supremacist views by trashing Candice but Aryan already made it crystal clear how she feels about Helen and when it's Aryans turn to strike she's going to punish Helen and crack one of her famous jokes at Helen's expense and I'm going to laugh.

I completely agree, Carmen.

Helen basically just turned and looked the other way when the derogatory comments were made. She knew they were being made and she knew who made them. Unfortunately her greed is stronger than sense of decency. I know, I know. That's almost a requirement in order to win.

Also, she's not nearly as smart as she thinks she is. IMO.

Sometimes it's difficult for us as normal human beings to witness people compromise their morals and display characteristics that we would deem sociopathic in a normal societal setting but in the scope of the BB game these characteristics and behaviors are crucial to your success and winning the game.

The decency in us wanted to see the victimized minorities triumph over their bigoted and racist HG's, some of us pictured an alliance of Elisaa the anti-racist crusader and Jessie the anti-bully crusader forming an alliance with the minorities who were mocked and show the viewers that love is more powerful than hate but this is not a game of decency.

This is a game of mob-rule where being "different" from the mob can make you a target for ridicule or eviction or both and if you by chance speak against the Mobb or don't go-along with the Mob then you also risk ridicule and eviction.

These Zombies vote as one instead of as individuals and then have the nerve to weep when their HG is booted, now it's all unanimous votes, I remeber when Howie and Spencer used to buck that trend and not vote with the house.

In the context of a "game" where 500,000 is the prize I would expect a political scientist like Helen to cozy up to a supremacist like Helen and plant seeds that she is on the same page with her and as vile as it is to watch its also fascinating and gives us all a little insight into human behavior, human interaction and the art of manipulation.

I'd be terrible at Big Brother, I never learned how to lie.

No offense but I think that you would be terrible at big brother because like candice you never know when to give it a rest. Please. Give it a break. Why not complain to people who can actually do something about those unpleasant situations on big brother that have brought you to the point to which you have apparently arrived?

What you are doing is making an ass of yourself and alienating some nice people from listening to anything you have to say. Enough, already.

Yes, I think this is as close to vulnerable as we have seen Helen. She has shown a lot of little cracks lately.

You sound like a freakishly irritable and weak person.

You would be terrible at BB because someone like me could use words to make you freak out and resort to personal attacks instead of sticking to the script or topic.

If I'm responding to someone else and you feel compelled to read my response like some puppet with no self-control or discipline then maybe you need to practice self-restraint or do what I do and simply ignore the things that may upset or bother me.

Maybe if you went and for some fresh air and exercise you wouldn't be so easily agitated with the anonymous words on your computer screen.....

Don't make an ass of yourself tring to find nice people on random blog-forums like a lonely obese shut-in with 3 cats and a greasy remote-control with BB on DVR, go find nice people in the real world like normal people do.

[sideNote]

Helen playing "house-mom" is an advantage because with the level of maturity in the house she's gonna be the one people run to for a little wisdom or a shoulder to cry on and that can be manipulated and twisted to further her game but as the game progresses lets see how many of the younger and dumber players pick sides while the puppet-masters recruit them to their sides.
