Howard - Week 5 - Evicted (Aug. 1)

Recommended Posts

My favorite twist of all time forever would be for them to bring Howard back to the house and let him pop out of a cake.

COUP DE KISS MY A**

Howard had zero game, that hinky vote and lying to Helen about MC was plain dumb. Spenser and Candice had his back and no doubt if he had the social skills he could have gotten Jessie and Ellisa too. Outside the house I think I would like Howard a lot but in BB house not so much.

I have to say that Julie last night calling out Howard for lying to Helen and people here I just don't get why people think it is dumb. Helen can lie a million times but Howard was not allowed to. I do agree with you Howard had zero game.

The thing is that ever since Helen dug her claws into Elissa for her ace in the hole and then teamed up with the McFilthys, they have just about forbidden anyone to make any kind of alliance. If you try, one or more of the spineless ones will run to them with the tale and the ones who tried to align will become the house enemy.

Thanks, Hawk. I asked for this in candice's thread and find it here. Smooch.

Excerpt from zap2it

"I mean, basically it was nothing. This was after the big thing outside where Candice confronted Spencer. At this point, I'm just carefree in the game. ... I just saw an opportunity to joke with her .. I walked up and I said, 'I love you' and she said, 'What, no you don't?' and I said, 'No, I love you.' With her being brash and she's never been one to be shy about her sexuality, in a joking manner, I whispered, 'I really do love you and outside this house you'd be so hot to me and we could hang out' and that was it. That's a joke I felt I could joke with her about because her, Candice and maybe GinaMarie, they're really open about their sexuality and that was basically it. She made more of it because she never really could figure me out because she couldn't control me. I guess she took it as a game ploy ... I mean, that's basically what it was. I wouldn't harass anybody."

Amanda is telling the house you said you want to "f*** the s*** out of her."

"No. No. It wasn't anything to that degree. Basically, I said we could hang out, you're so hot. She had always joked with me in that fashion, even in public around other houseguests. ... It was said in a joking manner. If she took it as [threatening], I will apologize over and over because I definitely didn't mean it in an offensive manner."

This all makes no sense to me. All of a sudden, Howard is Mr. Joker? He was the most serious guy in the house and what would possess him to walk up to her and tell her that? We will never know if he used Amanda's words or his own but either way, his use of "control" is a bit bothersome. "She could never control him" so was his attempt to control her with his words?

Anyway, he has a women who was practically throwing herself at him and maybe she would have appreciated his speech more but as he said "no showmance." Go figure!

I don't think "she called him out" for it, it was more like hey if you're wondering why you became Helen's target this is the reason why. I didn't hear any judgmental tones in her words.

I thought she was a bit cool with him though and I wonder if it had anything to do with the Amanda incident?

This season would be so much more exciting if there was a revolt. As repulsive as Spencer is he seems the most level headed and he would have no problem putting up Amanda and Helen. I am hoping that Spencer wins an HOH this Thursday.

All the 'analytical, social, and game skills mean zero to people who have you pegged already and are not trying to hear it.Since being caught in the lie(which he did out of loyalty to the MC,McCrae,Jeremy and Spencer with his changed vote, quickly sold that loyalty down the river)Helen and Amanda had made him house enemy number one. So with Helen, Amanda and Mc all against him, who was he left to try to appeal to? The Racists?Jeremy sold him out and went to Kaitlin,Mc to Amanda, and Judd was never going to have his back.So he does he have left?

My point was that he didn't even really try to develop a social game with Helen, Andy, Judd, Jessie, or McManda... When he most needed to engage... he withdrew and focused on Candice...

He could have done as our nasty little HG Aaryn is doing now... Make nice and be friendly with the current power people.

He could have worked on a relationship with Andy, Judd, Jessie, Elissa and Helen... none of them had said a single racist thing... so his only choices were NOT limited to Aaryn, GM, & Kaitlin...

Ah, the lie... One can make excuses for his serious mistake of lying to Helen when it was obvious that Helen knew about the MC when she listed it's members to him while she & he were talking in the HOH bathroom... How stupid could he have possibly be to lie in the face of the knowledge that the person he's talking to has just proven that she knows the truth... Keep in mind this was a serious and completely unnecessary problem that he created for himself and did absolutely nothing to repair... A little socializing can do wonders in this house... season after season has shown that to be true.

Even after his insanely stupid lie to Helen, if he had done as Aaryn has done when she found herself in deep deep trouble, he may still be here... Taking one shot at redemption with the crew in power by telling them that he wants to be their 'Jeremy" is a great first step but it must be followed with more good steps... and he did squat to follow up...

Nasty little HG Aaryn has made nice, laid low, and worked on building trust .....I can't tell you how much I'd like to see her evicted but she is making the moves that Howard should have be making... And because she has... she stays(for now)... and because he didn't... he's gone....

This I feel was the biggest mistake he made. Spencer fessing up about TMC to Helen without telling Howard and then Howard denying TMC to Helen was also a huge mistake on Spencer's end - one that proved fatal for Howard in the long run.

it probably wouldnt have made a difference. helen's head is so far up demanda's butt that whether he came clean or not, she'd have kept holding it against.

remember, that is the MO of the sheep patrol. villify anyone else for anything they can to try and legitimize they are the good people doing the right thing.

Who knows what may happened had Howard engaged.... But one thing is certain... by failing to engage, he doomed himself to certain failure...

It's such a shame that he tucked himself away with Candice, because with each passing minute in comfy seclusion his chances of staying diminished... and with him went my last real chance at rooting for a favorite HG to win this thing...

What it has come down to, since there is no one to really root for, is enjoyment has to come from hoping to see the nasty ones who think they are in control being pulled down and shown the door.

Yeah spencer came out smelly like a rose!

The only one who didn't snitch was howie! Every one sang like a bird! Anybody watch the Kevin Hart show The real husbands of Hollywood! This reminds me of the episode that Kevin slap the heck out of robin thicke! Robin was trying to help Kevin out and Kevin turned around and bit**slapped him! There is a rule you don't snitch in the hood! :lol2:

Great interview.

And there you have. McCrae and Andy -- playing the best game in Howard's opinion.
