While a devastated Meredith learns more about Derek and Addison's relationship, a confused Cristina tries to make decisions about her connection with Dr. Burke. Source: ABC
  • 08/19 - "The [new] season [premiering Sept. 25] opens right at that climax where we left off, and there are fireworks. A lot of fireworks. Actually, they didn't mean it to end there; it was going to continue to play itself out, but we ended up not showing five episodes that we had already shot, so it keeps building instead. There are even more twists and turns that come along," revealed Patrick Dempsey. Source: TV Guide Online

General Season 2 Spoilers:

Per my Grey's mole medical encyclopedia, a code black occurs when someone enters a hospital with a bomb strapped to their chest. I hear [Dr. Bailey's] delivery is going to be super-nail-biting. 02/08 - Rumor has it that Chris O'Donnell has signed on for an eight-episode arc beginning in March. Remember that heart-transplant patient named Denny who made googly eyes at Izzie in the Jan. 15 episode? [...] He's coming back for a nine-episode arc to "shake things up a little bit," says Denny's portrayer, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. "Denny isn't going anywhere, and Alex isn't going anywhere... Neither of them wants to let Izzie go." Now, this is where things get a little confusing. I'm also hearing that Chris O'Donnell's character is being brought on as a love interest for Izzie, so either Katherine Heigl is going to have three guys fighting over her or someone's spreading a little misinformation. Knowing those sneaky Grey's folks like I do, I'm guessing it's the latter. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

General Season 2 Spoilers:

03/29 - I think it's safe to say that Addison will be around for the foreseeable future, especially in light of the rumor that Eric Dane (aka McSteamy) has signed on to appear in at least 13 episodes next season. I got an e-mail from a Grey's publicist on Friday insisting that there are "no plans for any kind of same-sex relationship this season with any of the main characters. Joe, the bartender, remains happily involved with another man though." In other words, it's possible this bisexual plot was scrapped soon after it was hatched. Of course, it's also possible Shonda Rhimes had a gun pointed at that publicist's head when he was typing that e-mail. We may meet a new female surgeon who walks like Cristina, talks like Cristina, fights like Cristina and has the same taste in men as Cristina. On the patient front, there may be a huge surgery with something like 11 surgeons involved
