Bachelorette 7

Ashley is going to be the Bachelorette. Is anyone besides me going to watch? :D

She was finishing up dental school in Philadelphia when she went on the Bachelor with Brad.

Hope she does well!

Glad to see this thread. I was going to ask the same thing!

I already looked at spoilers from another site, but I still plan on checking this show out. Ashley wouldn't have been my first choice for Bachelorette, simply b/c she didn't seem that entertaining the first time around. But hopefully it'll be interesting with her own show.

I don't get how you keep a guy who you've heard is coming in with the wrong intentions, you keep him, just because he looks good to you and seems to be smooth, hello, then it looks like down the road she is fallin for this creep and cryin, I have no sympathy, of course it prolly is the editing, but I would have kicked Bently to the curb immeadiately, Ashley is stupid for keeping this idiot, the show really seems fake

One of the guys said he hoped The Bachelorette was Emily - was it Bentley that said that?

Yes, it was Bentley who said that. And of course she was gonna keep him around. He's the catalyst for the drama to come.

Wow, is she ever insecure, at this point I don't think she is good material for a serious relationship, Boo Hoo on Bently, what a tool and she said she already had fallen for him, I was so disgusted with that whole thing, it was sooo scripted on his part, I hate that they manipulate the show for some BS drama, but at the very least Ashley is too insecure to even be on the Bachlorette, and the roast??? Paalleeaassee , if you do not have a thick skin should not have put yourself in that situation.

Just starting to watch the first episode on my TiVo. Like past seasons, the fun is trying to pick the real ones who were chosen to be on show because they have the traits that match up (no more then 4 out of 25). The rest are simply chosen to be on show because of the drama\ratings they will create.

The biggest clue always is that the guy selected will never be shown having any serious flaws.

I just finished the first episode and I can easily predict that he is "that guy" that is on every bachelorette that is a mole for the producers. Ashly is fully aware that his role is to create drama; they have one every season. Remember Frank who confessed he was still in love with x-girl friend? And then there was the Pro Wresler with fake broken leg. Wouldn't surprise me one bit that she & Bently meet with the producers during the filming to discuss how things are to play out. Their time together is clearly fake\scripted. As I stated in my previous post, and many posts in prior seasons, there is no more than 4 guys on the show that any real chance of being the last man standing, all the rest are there for the sole purpose of helping the season get good ratings. Seriously, each of one was selected for what drama (or humor) they can bring to the show, not because they seriously have any chance of marrying the Bachelorette. And I have a high degree of confidence that Ashly pre-screened on video the real guys, thus helping the producers select the guys she was willing to date seriously. The rest the producers pick so that each guy can be dumped by the bachelorette at some point during the season.

Just watched the episode with the roast. This was a classic reality TV setup, and William was the target. During his audition for the show William reveals he is wants to be a comedian and roasting is one of favorites... so guess what the producers do? They setup him up so that he'll basically give Ashly reason to send him home at some future point. There is a good chance that Ashly understood what the producers were doing, and her tears weren't as real as they appeared on TV. Think of it like giving an alcoholic the access to all the boozes he might want, and see what he decides to do.

....and the whole Bentley drama, what a load of crap that was. Surely nobody buys any of that garbage. In real time she's only know the guy for about two weeks, and not really spent all the much time with him, not even one date, but somehow she's crying like like they been together for a couple of years and he is walking out in her. And her acting is not all that great either. And Oh OH, having fake rain as he drive away makes the entire episode borderline parody of itself.

hmm... one question about Bentley taking part in this 'set up'.....

What about his reputation ? From some articles posted it looks like that's down the tubes.

Ok... just finished the episode where they travel to Thailand. I swear Ashly couldn't go more than 5 minutes without saying the name Bentley. It is soooo scripted. Sorry, if she has only known him for two weeks, and never had sex even once, no way is any of this remotely real. And If by chance she truly is madly in love with Bentley who she has only spoken too a few times with camera's rolling and several producers off the to side, she is seriously messed up and no guy should get involved with her, EVER! And the icing on the cake is he doesn't even remotely find her attractive (...or so says the script).

I do believe there are a few guys that are there for real, and when they go out on dates their comments and reactions are real, but the producers are inserting a lot of bogus drama scripted for several of the other guys... included the Masked guy who always had the Phantom of the Opera music playing in the background...lol

I went back and watched the parts of the first episodes, and during the previews of future episodes, they do show Bentley returning and hooking up with Ashlyh again.... Let me guess\predict, they make the audience think they hook up for a night of intense sex that blows her mind, and in the morning he dumps her saying "Thanks. Maybe I'll call ya some time..." And she spends the rest of episode crying about how he was the man of her dreams, but treats her like trash after the best sex she ever had... BUT THEN..... her REAL TRUE love appears, the man who she will select at the very end, and he says\does all the right things to make her fall in love with a REAL MAN of her dreams. <Barf, Barf, Barf>.... animated_bouncy.gif

I have to say watching the previews for next week have me very interested. I said I am sure it's Bently but wouldn't it make good TV if it was Brad??...lol

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but this season Chris has stated a few times "There are no rules". What he is really saying "If it makes for good TV, you can do anything you want". They are officially lowering the bar to tabloid TV with high production standards\budget. Its the same drama crap that is seen on really low budget reality TV (ie E!), but they have a multi-million dollar budget to travel to exotic locations. While it is unlikely that Brad would return, there is a good chance that something like that will happen in a future season, simply because now they are shifting toward a format of "There are no rules"... which isn't really true. The guys can't do anything they want any more than before, its just now there is an audience perception that any guy on the show can go rogue at any time, do anything, say anything. In the future we may see a guy suddenly decide in the middle of the night to go have sex with the Bachelorette, she of course invite him in, and they bang each other like they have not had sex in years. To the audience it might appear as a impromptu event motivated by undying love, when in fact is a scripted soft porn movie.

Personally, I think Ashly is included with what the producers are doing than we know about. I think she does get to see some of the footage of what the guys are saying behind her back, not all the footage, but enough that so she can determine for herself who is for real, and who is not. Those guys who get a thumbs down by her are then targeted for future elimination, which also means they are likely to become pawns of the producers that put them into no win situations that create drama. If two guys hate each other, then there is a good chance those two guys are going find themselves in producer created situations where drama is going to happen. And they all are cast because they are either 1) natural odds balls in their every days lives, or 2) they know the producers are looking for great drama so they feed into the camera.

The only guys that are safe, are the ones who have not been targeted for elimination, which also means, there is truly only one guy that remains safe until the end. One by one, guys that seemed normal and marriage material in the first couple of episodes are later shown to have serious flaws\qwerts\insecurities\etc that are major "turns offs" to pretty much everyone who watches the show. But the producers design it that way, if Ashly is not interested in a truly great guy that many women would like to date, they simply zero in on one (or more) of his personality flaws and magnify it as if the flaw is far worse, gross, offensive, etc . Instead of just "he sometimes forgets to put the seat down after using the toilet" they twist it into "he never flushes or ever washes his hands, and then goes cooks dinner". The first one reflects his true personality, the second reflects his reality TV personality.

So far this season of the Bachlorette is the worst ever, it is sooo obvious that it is being scripted and they are playing the Bently thing till it is a dead horse, Bently is an idiot, was only put on the show to make drama and controversy. I think Ashley if she really is dreaming about Bently is a nut job who is sooo insecure that she should not even be on this show, come on now, this is just ridiculous, and doooo predictable that it is not even enjoyable to watch. And the name Bently??? Sounds like a butler or something. I will prolly still watch, just to see how ridiculous they make this season, so far to me it is the WORST!!!!!!:disappointed: :disappointed:

I still think it's entertaining to watch, I mean really that's what tv is suppose to be entertaining. I mean I know it's suppose to be reality and all but I think so many of the reality shows today are scripted too. Not just this one. I think it's funny because Ashley is looking like a nob always going on about Bently. I think she was a bad bad choice to pick for the bachelorette.

Here is a basic fact about what always happens on the Bachelor\bachelorette, the person who gets the very last rose during any "rose" cermonory has been targeted for elimation at some point in the future. The last man standing in the final episode of the season always got a rose before the last rose was handed out in every episode.

This week Ryan got the last rose, so he now has been targeted for a future elimination. And sinse he not yet had a one-on-one date, he is unlikely to get one, or if he does get an one-on-one date, he won't get a rose at the end of that date. Ryan is a dead man walking.

I am soooo disgusted with this show, barf is right Echo, sick of hearing about Bently, Bentley, so phony, and I think you are right about the person who gets the last rose, anyway that guy is sort of pathetic, so I am now just barely waching this show :animated_scratchchin:

The whole Bently stuff just makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I really can't say for certian, but I tend to beleive that the producers are intentionally making it over-the-top much in the same way a 12-13 year old girl would that has a really bad crush who just can't stop thinking and talking about the super hunk 14 year old boy she recently met. Without even knowing him or talking to him other than to say "hi", she imagines a perfect life together where he always does and says the right things. He knows exactly what to do when she is happy, sad, angry, frustrated, etc. He is Prince Charming, and she doesn't know anything about him, she just thinks he is "Super Cute"... But of course, Prince Charming turns out to be more like Prince Charming in Sherk 2.

Well I am looking forward to see Bently showing up and Ashly falling all over herself. "Oh Bently, Bently, Bently"

I hope he shows up at her hotel door, she invites him in, and we cut to outside shot of the bedroom window show them ripping their clothes off, then we hear wild sex screams and moans of pure escasy that goes on and one and on, as they have hot sex until the sun comes up, then Bently says "Your name is Ashly right?, I got a plane to catch, I'll call ya sometime after the show and we can hook up again", and Ashly continues to worship him even more than she did before.

this it the best season ever, which really mean this is the worst season ever.

In this episode from the very first moment, to the very last, she couldn't stop talking about Bentley, Bentley Bentely! Who names their kid "Bentley". Bentley the name of somebody's butler or a their dog.

I finely figured out why she kepts Ryan around; hell, she won't even kiss the guy. He's the guy they have on every season who honest and can't lie, so when she wants more inside info that the producers don't feed to her, then Ryan is the guy she can trust to keep her informed about who talking about her behind her back. Ryan is already on the hit list to go home, but only when she nolonger needs him to keep him around.

My front runner is Constine. The clues are that he's never been shown in a negitive manner. He is, so far, the Knight in shining armor, who appears to have no flaws.

Clearly on the hit list are:

Ben F.

Ryan

Ames

Lucas

... And according to the previews for next week, someone else who has gone home is returning. I hope it is Bentley simply because I'd love to see Ashly flip out over him all over again, and have the guys all walk out on her saying "This bimbo is seriously fucked up..." even Mr. Pollyanna, Ryan, would say she got major issues... And I am beginning to wonder if the producers picked her to because they knew she wouldn't be able to handle it, thus create a lot of drama as she started to cracked under the pressure.
