John Lennon once wrote, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.” For three men entering the second act of their lives, those words are starting to hit home in TNT’s Men of a Certain Age. This wry drama stars Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond), Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) and Andre Braugher (Homicide: Life on the Street).
Now in its 2nd season, Men of a Certain Age follows the bonds of friendship among three life-long friends who are now in their late 40s. Joe (Ray Romano) is a slightly neurotic separated father of two who has a gambling addiction. Owen (Andre Braugher) is an overstressed husband and father, who works as a car salesman at the dealership owned by his father. Terry (Scott Bakula) is a struggling actor, working temp jobs to make ends meet. The friends are aware of each other's life struggles and show male reactions to life issues.
I really started getting into this show during season 1 and now that the marketing company I work for picked up this campaign from the folks at Turner, I am loving the sneak peaks. I cannot wait to see what drama is in store for the day to day life of the three aging friends!
