This may be a dumb question... but what is a lockdown? People keep talking about it, but I'm not sure what it means. I don't have live feeds, does it have something to do with that?

a lockdown is when they make the houseguest either all go outside (cause bb is doing something inside) or they make all them go inside (cause bb is doing something outside - like setting up for a comp).

Almost always a 'Lockdown' is where the Guests are locked in or out of the house so Big Brother can put up props or do maintenance on the house/yard etc.

For example when a Competition stage and props are being built in the backyard the guests are locked inside and must pull down the shades.

In this case, a Veto ceremony is being prepared and the guests must be locked outside while the BB staff are inside.

Sometimes they have Lockdowns when (we think) the BB people are inside re-arraigning the set or performing maintenance.

Remember the idea is that they are in this house and can have no contact with the outside world.

So BB doesnt want them standing in the backyard, while the gates are open and 20 crewmembers are building stuff.

Oh.. and there was a 'LockDown' during the Big Fight a few weeks ago. In that case they directed people to certain rooms and they are not permitted to leave the rooms until told to do so.

Hehe.. every once in a while you can catch a shot of a crewmember or something running past a camera.

Usually the put the live-feeds on 'Lockdown' too - meaning Fishtank :(
