Sorry for assuming...

Not a problem -- actually, early last season, I didn't like him. But he grew on me - I came to appreciate his game play and the fact that he was flat out entertaining. HOWEVER, I never, ever, want to see him in those dingy grey drawers again -- nope, I can live without that vision in my brain.

I really got tired of Russell on the Reunion and Early Show saying he should have won because he was voted America $100.00. How can someone expect to win when they are annoying? If you just want to talk about the final three. Its all together possible that votes were split between the America's jury for Sandra and Pavarti and Russell may have won by default.

Of course they just wasn't just three to vote for there were 20 other survivors and a lot of people had favorites again giving Russell a better chance to win. We don't know how many people watched and how many people voted. Probably the percentage voted is very few voted versus watched. We never really going to know how this voted actually turned out. Jeff was not turning all the votes just two.

Russell is delusional if he thinks if America voted he would have won. More likely he would be the first voted off since so many people in America dislike him and there were 20 to vote for. He was asking for something that's impossible, its not part of the game, and something your going to lose at.

The first Big Brother had the America's vote off the player and that didn't work. That's the last time that happened.

It true who win survivor is in part luck so stand to reason that luck comes into play on who win the $1,000,000. It is really was luck, which comes into play whoever wins survivor and thereby who wins the $100,000. If Tyson would have stuck with plan it would have been bye bye Russell and Boston's Rob America's favorite survivor.

You can read the logo at the front of this group of threads and it says OUTWIT, OUTPLAY, and finally OUTLAST.

Even if Russell thinks he outwitted and outplayed he can't outlast and that's his opinion he never wanted outlasted survivor. In his excuse he didn't play to outlast. His own admission is he didn't play to win YET he should have won in his opinion he should be the sole survivor. Maybe he should over Natalie but people for people that they don't like I don't understand his logic that he didn't play to win yet he thinks he should.

He a sore loser and a generally mean as the entire jury knew which is why none of the nine voted for him. He had a better case on survivor 19 but he was still so disliked so that voted Natale instead. Assuming he was not paid extra for $ for survivor 20. I think he ended up over between survivor 19 and twenty of $375,000. In any event he got no votes in Survivor 20 and no votes was what he deserved.

Finally I find it very funny on the Reunion show they pointed out he was upset his hat diappeared but he had no problem with him dumping canteens, burning socks, and hiding the machete.

America does not get a vote because we are not there with these people. We are not starving with them, we are not competing against them, we are not being betrayed by them, we are not socializing with them, we are not scheming with them, etc. So in my opinion, Russell gets America's vote because he entertained us. He's the Survivor monkey.

My post wasn't meant to flame anyone, can't help it if you think I was

If Rupert and James' America's vote came down to nothing but a pity vote, then the same can be said for Russell's.... as for calling his fans delusional, which I assume is the flame you are referring to, I didn't mean anyone here, some of the people around the net talk about it like Sandra ripped the money from his poor little hand, those were the ones I was talking about

Whether you love or hate or merely find Russell offensive, it is an absolute fact that not one; but two Survivor juries chose to not award Russell and one of them chose to shut him out entirely from the win. I know it is tough for Russell fans to be disappointed TWICE but it seems clear to me that the method with which he chooses to play the game is flawed. It might be time for Russell to try a different approach if he plans on disposing of his billion dollar oil company and making a career of Survivor. He has all the tools necessary to win except for that ridiculous inability to close his bragging mouth when it counts.

From today's St Pete Times- Russell will be in Tampa on Memorial Day at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Its tempting to go hear what he has to say. It only takes me about 30 minutes to get there and I'd get to play my favorite slot machines too. Better than an outdoor picnic in 90 degree heat with 90 percent humidity!

Here's the Hard Rock's press release on Hantz's appearance:

Now that the Heroes vs Villains season finale has aired, we can finally tell you who

Oh absolutely right - I didn't expect him to win, especially after seeing how it played out in Survivor Samoa. I was yelling at him going into tribal to be a little bit humble, if not even a little apologetic, to the jury. They would have eaten that up - Jerri even said so herself - she would have voted for him, as I think Coach and JT might have. Still probably wouldn't have won, but he could have made a decent showing. He does have all the tools necessary to win, right up until that final tribal council. If he could have fixed that, he might, I said MIGHT have had a fighting chance.

BUT all that being said, I would still rather have seen Parv win this season over Sandra (and no, I'm not really a fan of hers) because she played her ass off, won challenges, manipulated Russell and anyone else she had to, and IMO, played the best overall game. Clearly, the jury didn't see it that way, so be it!

Even I, who hates Parvati, can admit, she played a hell of a game, and probably deserved to win...... but I'm still thrilled that Sandra won LOL

Even though I missed the final show, I was a happy girl, that they did not give it too Russell.

Go google him being arrested, and see his mug shot!!! :animated_bouncy:

I was resigned to the fact that Russell was not going to win. I was glad he made it as far as he did though, because he was very entertaining.

IMO, Sandra was more deserving of this win, than her win in the Pearl Islands.

It's going to be a long summer...until we see Jeff again telling us "39 days....".

How does everyone feel about Survivor moving back to its original air day of Wednesday? Guess it doesn't matter when it's on, as long as it's ON!

The reason he's able to get under people's skin is because he does things that would annoy him personally. As for winning viewer's choice, I think his family played a role and used their money and had people vote a certain way. Just a thought. I'm so happy he got so close and lost again in the real game!

Just so you know......................

"Survivor" fan favorite Russell Hantz -- who just won $100k on the show -- just scored a major legal victory ... he's officially off the hook for allegedly attacking someone at a street festival last month.

TMZ has learned the District Attorney in Lafayette, LA has decided not to file criminal charges against the reality star -- and we're told the decision was made at "the victim's request."
